There were a lot of great horror elements to this dlc for sure but more often than not I was left way more sad and depressed than any other emotion.
Everything about this story is just so depressing. Ludwig turned from a respectable knight to a horrific beast, all the endless victims of the church in the research hall screaming out of pain and confusion, lady Maria killing herself out of guilt because of the atrocities committed in the fishing hamlet. All of it is just so much.
I remembered seeing Orphan of Kos for the first time and just feeling so terrrible for it. It comes out of the womb of its murdered mother a confused and scared great one with too much insight for its underdeveloped infant brain. As scary as some of the new enemies and areas were it just wasn’t something I was focused on at all. There’s not even a happy ending, sure Orphan of Kos can finally be put to rest and the curse is lifted, but it’s not even close to undoing all of the fucked up events that are permanently in place and immortalized in the nightmare realm. Gherman is still depressed after this burden has been lifted from him, and the game just keeps on going.
To me the orphan of Kos boss seemed like the true final boss of the series and the dlc ending felt like a finale even though you still have the rest of the main story and ending to finish.

After college in 2015 graduating with a finance degree, I did not work in my field. I coached soccer for 6 years then sold mortgages for 2.5 years. I now work at a large bank, started there 1.5 years ago in their corporate operations department to now being in the brokedealer regulatory space.
I’m at 90k a year and I’m hoping to earn a promotion by the end of the year to an associate role.
Currently working to get my SIE license, I’ll then pursue the series 99 afterwards. Do you think it’s too late for an MBA? I was under the impression that the firm would pay for a good portion of it but as of now they aren’t. What would you do ? My goal is to get to VP role in 4-5 years with hopefully plenty of exposure and experience in the broker dealer industry. Hopefully get up to $200k/year in a senior role later in my career.
What would you recommend ?

I’ve only ever gone on dates w men, though I’ve never actually been in a relationship. I’m in my early 20s. Over the past two years I’ve come to realize I’m gay. It was a really difficult revelation for me to deal with… lots of internalized homophobia to unpack that I didn’t even know was there. I finally worked up the courage to hop on the apps recently and there was this one beautiful girl that caught my eye immediately. We’ve been messaging back and forth a bit and I asked her for a coffee date sometime soon. She said yes. I was feeling fine before, but now I’m feeling nervous.
When I get nervous, I tend to go into an anxiety shut down and it shows as a very surface level, performative mode. Like I’m in survival and can only think one word ahead of the next. I just want to be relaxed and make a good impression.
Furthermore, what are you expectations of a first date. Please help ease my anxiety and tell me about how your goodbyes and hellos usually look. That’s where I’ve always been most flustered with in the past (with men, probably because I didn’t want them to touch me).
I guess what I’m looking for is some first date pointers from your own experience and some wise words of advice to calm me down a bit. She’s just so beautiful I don’t want to fumble the bag.

I really, really like Haydn but I feel overwhelmed at how much music he has. I know many symphonies vaguely and like 3 or 4 really well. Or 2. Anyway, I was wondering, if one wants to get to know Haydn a little better it workable to just kind of grab favorite movements from the sea of Haydn symphonic work, or is it best to go a symphony at a time?
