Hi All. I live in a pre-war mixed rental/co-op building. We rent from a company that owns a bunch of the units. Late last Saturday night, what was supposed to be a 10 minute dog walk turned into a 3 hour ordeal when we couldn't get back into our apartment. There looked to be something in our lock to our apartment door. The key wouldn't go in! I was worried someone tried to jimmy our lock or something.
We called the super, he sent a guy to look at it who said "yep that's broken. Call a locksmith." Didn't tell us which locksmith to use, just told us good luck since it was already passed business hours.
We found a locksmith that had late hours. The locksmith was shocked at how old the lock is. He basically said it died of old age, and the lock was from the 1970s! One of the pins was sick in the down positron. All in all, I had to pay $400 between the lockout fee and replacing the lock. Do I get that money back? Will it come off my rent? I don't technically own the door or the lock, but needed to get it replaced so we can get back into our apartment and lock it when we are not home. Since I wasn't the one who broke it, is the landlord responsible for it?
Tldr: I had to replace a broken lock on the door to my rented apartment. Do I get reimbursed?

I don't know other peoples opinions on this which is why I'm asking, what do y'all think about how they all separated. I wish all of them stayed in their group like how they did the first half of the show. I understand that they're all having a personal journey or whatever but all these different storylines are not my favorite. I loved being able to watch and appreciate how close they are and how family-like their dynamics where. I feel like it would've been better for the main group to stay in Alexandria but get introduced to other groups like them living and running other communities like Hilltop and the Kingdom. The only separation I somewhat enjoyed was Carols, and how she met and made a life with people in the Kingdom.

 | I recently inherited these shotguns from my grandfather. I don’t really know a whole lot about them or guns in general. I used to shoot browning shotguns with my grandad so I know how to operate on a basic level. Figured I’d see if the folks on here could help give me an idea of what I have. I know the browning is an A5 16 gauge and based on the serial is from 1928? Is that correct? Does it just use typical 16 gauge shells from an academy sports? Also there appears to be some rust/corrosion on the barrel (see pic), any advice on how to clean it up? The other older beat up one I have no idea and would appreciate any information on what it is. Looks and feels like it is inoperable and shouldn’t be fired. I can take more pics if needed. Couldn’t find any engravings or info besides the serial. Thanks in advance and I’d appreciate any advice on clean up and maintenance. I have the foam hard shell case for them. I intend to keep the browning operable and in good shape.  | Apologies for the repost, the address/info was not completely censored. Received a gift card with my username tag on it Just opened my mail box and came upon this letter. I was perplexed as it has my username on the letter instead of my real name. I originally assumed this was a giftcard for the energy savings program our gas company gives when you switch to a smart thermostat. Here in Ontario (Toronto at least), the gas company will issue a $75(from what i recall) discount code on a specific smart thermostat when bought brand new in-store from either Home Depot, Best buy or the recommended manufacturer. At first I thought this was it, but then quickly realized that I bought my smart thermostat from Facebook marketplace for cheaper. Now I am a bit skeptical of this card and lette if It’s legit. $75 will help tbh. But i’m not going to risk my info getting stolen cuz of it. Has anyone have a similar case?
