2025.01.21 04:06 Niga619 A question for people who have been playing this game since its release
A friend of mine gave me this game as a gift and was happy to play it until one point i got bored and stop playing but my friends went ahead and advanced through the biomes and ages and left me behind i felt more bored at that moment even when they gave me gear to keep up with them. i stop playing valheim.
when the bog witch release came i feel inspired again to play valheim this time with some mods to simplify some stuff and improve others.
but still i got bored right now im stuck at the swamp biomes looking for iron and getting terribly bored of mining exploring crafting but wrose is not feeling enjoyment neither improvement out of this, even when i craft stuff with it and its feel like a boring process of farm materials -> craft stuff -> kill the god -> find next biome -> repeat.
the question is: How do you keep yourselves going when it comes to playing this game without feeling bored of it?
and how not the feel afraid when navigating the seas in this game? (im afraid of sea creatures)

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to render my blender animation and this is my first large project. I’m in cycles GPU because I have an ice texture one. The animation renders fine in EEVEE but doesn’t give me the texture I want. I’ve tried everything and looked at so many videos and I’m wondering if I’m making such a moon mistake. It will take 2 hours to render and once the mp4 is done it will be less than a second of a video of the literal first frame. When it is rendering it doesn’t show the render preview moving either. I don’t know what to do and am begging anyone for any ideas

Hello, I have been trying to find this game from my childhood for years now.My memory is still foggy but certain parts stood out to me. It is an early 2000s adventure game where you could pick between a girl and boy human character. The girl had a bow on and the boy had spiky black hair, I think.
The main goal was to build up a town on a strange planet. The native creatures were these little blue (maybe purple) guys that I remember wearing karate-like outfits. You could venture to the outskirts of your town and encounter these sad and withdrawn, maybe diseased? black/gray creatures. There was a way to cure them and have them join your town but I don't remember.
You could unlock new buildings as you got more villagers and you could upgrade the buildings. I think you could build a school? But that was the only thing I remember building, however I know there was more. Maybe some kind of town hall as well. You could gather resources and there may have been tools but I don't remember.
The game was in a fixed third person view and had a 3d, cartoony (maybe poly) style to it. I think it was either a free game or demo on one of the early playstation consoles. I used to be obsessed with it but I don't think it's well known. It's not zoominis, locoroco, LBP, Jak & daxter, or anything like them (these are the names google keeps throwing at me). Hope someone can find it cause it's been plagueing my mind for years

So I sold a tape and created label through PayPal with the buyers attached information. The next day he informs me that he's moving and can I ship to different address. I respond saying I've bought the label and packed and ready to go already but to the paypal adress and buyer says ya no big deal that shouldnt be a problem. Having learned the hard way I never ship to a different address than what's attached to the PayPal as it's not protected if done so. Long story short the packages tracking shows delivered but buyer says he didn't get it and demands a 120 dollar refund. Filed a claim with PayPal 2x and calling me a crook. I told him that I'd gladly refund him if the tape some how got forwarded back to me or if he didn't like it or changed his mind send it back and I'll refund right away. Now am I in the wrong here ? documents showing it was intact delivered and usps also confirms that they don't have it nor was it forwarded back to me. Is buyer trying to scam me? Am I wrong for not refunding them without the tape returned since there is delivery confirmation?

Been away for a few years (since Excalibur umbra came out). Trying to figure out where to go I have over 500 hours lots of primes (ember prime changes made me sad). Not sure what my focus should be to get back into into also not sure what frames are meta (was big into stomp rhino). Should I farm for rivens and make a build, should I farm any frames, do I need to unlock any new mechanics that are important like kuva and focus was last time I came back?
