Been smoking weed to help me sleep for over a decade. Haven’t had a real break since I went to Mexico in 2017. I have tried quitting many times and it’s downright painful. The last time I tried was a few weeks ago. I was awake until 4am, at which point I had such a bad headache from being so overly tired that I caved and smoked the tiny bit of weed I had left and managed to fall asleep fo a few hours. Natural sleep aids don’t help, they’ll make me super tired but not quite asleep, and then they’ll just wear off and I’ll be totally awake, and I have very good sleep hygiene (no screens at least one hour before bed, I wear red glasses as soon as the sun goes down, no caffeine past 11am, healthy diet etc).
My mom is taking me on a cruise with her next month, I leave in less than 4 weeks. I live in Canada, weed is legal and easily accessible here, the cruise ships out of Miami Florida where it is very illegal. I am terrified I won’t be able to sleep while I’m away and will be in withdrawal the entire time, but I’m having a terrible time trying to quit. Natural sleep aids as well as over the counters don’t help. I am highly considering asking my doctor for a short term prescription for Xanax just to use while I’m on the cruise. I truly believe that if I went 10 days without weed, there’s no way I would want to smoke again. I am wondering if I might have an easier time let’s say going from cannabis to Xanax, and then from Xanax to melatonin or another form of natural sleep aid. Ultimately I would love to kick this dependency as I know it holds me back in major ways.
I’m wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and can share their experiences?

I'm 16 years old, and recently I've been trying to find a job for MONTHS, I've been applying for months, calling for months and I've gotten nothing. The closest I've ever gotten is just to interviews and even those feel lack luster, where they just ask me my name, DOB, and availability and say "we'll give you a call" and never give me a call. Right now my mom is struggling financially and I'm trying to help out but it's damn near impossible to even get a shitty job. I feel a sense of urgency that I need to be making money soon or saving up for something, since I am graduating next year as well. I've looked into some side hustles and some side things I can do for my age but a lot of them require some type of money to start, and are not really ideal for me, like babysitting or dog walking as there isn't much of that in my area. I just feel horrible for depending on my mom for necessities when I am in fact am capable of doing things myself, but it just seems so ... far away.

I just got the regular razr 2024 and I can't get the gps to work at all. I've troubleshooted for hours (in a random DQ parking lot because I took a road trip today thinking I had gps and then needed directions home) and tried all of the suggestions and no dice.
I'm a woman who was all alone in the dark in the woods and almost out of gas without a way to find a gas station, and I'm really upset. It finally worked when I turned off my WiFi, but I'm guessing it's pinging off a cell tower because my actual phone has no GPS signal.
I also need WiFi on to connect to Android auto.
This is a mess. I don't know my city very well and use gps to get literally everywhere. Someone please tell me there's a solution.

My main indoor sport is track cycling which poses the unique issue of harsh backlit indoor lighting, while athletes are traveling up to 60 km/h and sometimes faster.
Currently using a 70-200 f2.8 and it's doing fantastic but I'm wondering if I should start using the lens hood to help with a bit of the harsh and awkward lighting. Is that a no brainer?

Just as a bit of a background im a gm tank player in both overwatch and rivals, as ive been playing competitive marvel rivals, ive realised one thing, people always blame those with the lowest stats when they lose, and sometimes they may be right, but theres a lot of times when theyre wrong as well.
As an example, lets say you pick 2-2-2 and the enemy team do the same, and that the two dps on your team are BP and namor, lets say that at the start of the fight the BP immediately goes in and somehow kills both of the enemy supports but dies to one of their dps, and then after that your team collapses on them and kills all of them. At the end of this team fight the stats will say:
Namor, 4 kills 0 deaths with lets say 1300 dmg BP, 2 kills 1 death with 600 dmg
Now lets roughly extrapolate these stats to the end of the game:
Namor, 42 kills 7 deaths with 14000 dmg BP, 27 kills 12 deaths with 8000 dmg
If your team won, everyone will think the namor carried
But if your team lost, everyone will flame the BP and say he threw
But from the example given just now, who do you think really carried the fights, was it the BP who initiated and killed both supports by himself or was it the namor who was shooting tanks and dps who didnt have any sustain due to both of their supports being dead.
Those who are more experienced will know that a solo kill first pick on a support everytime is way more valuable than just normal kills.
Now lets look at another example,
Squirrel girl: 40 kills, 11 final hits 18000dmg
Hawkeye: 28 kills, 16 final hits 10000 dmg
If your team won, people might say the squirrel girl carried
If your team lost, people might flame the hawkeye
In this particular instance, hawkeye was getting a lot more value and impact than the squirrel girl. He was getting a lot more finishing blows as compared to the squirrel girl.
Now here's the thing that a lot of low rank players dont understand, theres no point doing a lot of damage if your not finishing the kills, all it does is give the enemy supports a ton of ult charge which lets them win more fights, it is objectively a lot better to kill enemies as fast as possible. This is why characters with a fast TTK (Time To Kill) are seen as incredibly oppresive in high ranks, think one shot characters like hawkeye or even widow and hanzo from overwatch. Even though these characters may not get the most damage and kills in the match, their impact can be seen in the number of final blows they get.
The same general arguments can also be made for both the tank role for damage blocked, where it might be better to hide behind cover instead of soaking damage and taking away support resources from the rest of your team, and also for support healing done where it might be better to use your abilities to make plays and support your dpses instead of farming healing off your tank.
So in conclusion, stats aren't the end all be all of matches and their outcomes, context always matters in any situation and I hope that people can learn that and not flame in ranked just because of someone having low scoreboard stats.

Every time I see a post on the Living in Tallahassee FaceBook page and she comments it is almost always snarky, rude, belittling and doesn't answer the question. It seems like a running theme with the admin of that group (her and David mainly). It's just not a useful place anymore. They approve the posts where people ask "why aren't my posts getting approved?" so they can comment bitchy stuff and have others bully in the comments. What the fuck is up with them?
tl;dr: the facebook admins for living in tallahassee are not good and i saw a post and their snarkiness pissed me off so much I had to complain somewhere haha.

Creo que su cabello era café o rubio, y llevaba un arete tipo verde redondo en la oreja izquierda (creo), recuerda que tenía una temporada en su momento (lo ví en pandemia), en ese capitulo al parecer había muerto pero la revivieron con magia negra y ahí terminó el anime...
