I’m 15 and thinking about getting a library card in Central Florida, where book bans are strict.
My friend and I are debating this because a library card would give us access to books, music, films, and study spaces. However, we’re unsure if the restrictions make it worthwhile.
I enjoy classics, philosophy, and political theory (feminist and Marxist), and my parents don’t restrict my reading. My friend prefers romance and classics.
Is it worth it for us to get a library card in Florida?

Hi, i’m confused and a bit scared cause my period is late for 8 days and usually it never is, especially for that long. Here’s the reason why i’m confused. Basically, i’ve got sick around christmas (when i was supposed to be ovulating) and was diagnosed with kidney inflammation so i had to spend a week in the hospital taking therapy (antibiotic through my veins) and then i had to drink antibiotic in a pill form for a week after that. Now, when i came home from hospital i had red spotting for 2 days (maybe 3 but i’m not sure) and it wasn’t as heavy as my periods tend to be but it wasn’t very light either and i also had blood clots too. Now this spotting happened exactly a week before i was supposed to get my period. And then, exactly a day before i was supposed to get my period i experienced all the symptoms that i always get day before my period or on the 1st day of my period which is cramps in my belly, knees and back, crying and mood swings, but the next day i didn’t get my period and now i’m 8 days late. Now the reason why i’m confused is because i’m not sure if antibiotics made my period late or perhaps early (the spotting) but i’m not sure if that spotting that i experienced can even count as the period but then again maybe it really was my period but antibiotics messed up with it which is why it was early, short and light. Also, i’m not sure if me being sick from kidney inflammation perhaps made my ovulation late or smth… Or perhaps the fact that i almost never slept, drank and smoked a lot of grass and ate very unhealthy at that time. (plus physical exhaustion and infection) Now the reason why i’m scared is the pregnancy possibly. I had an intercourse but i used protection and both me and my partner are 100% sure condom didn’t break or leaked. Also, few days before christmas when i had intercourse with my partner i experienced pain when i tried to pee because i forgot to do that after the intercourse so it’s possible that i got UTI from that because i ignored the pain and didnt think it was a big deal and a had an intercourse two days after that again and then the pain got even worse but it went away after 3 days. The doctor didn’t mention anything about UTI but they told me i had E.coli which i believe i got that way. Now, i wanna know if any of you know what is the most probable cause of my period being late and if any of you experienced smth similar or perhaps antibiotics affecting your menstrual cycle in a similar way. Please, i’m desperate. Thank you!

Hello, I currently have a bachelor’s degree and I’ve completed most nursing prerequisites (anatomy/physiology/chemistry), and I’ve been planning to apply to accelerated nursing programs.
However, I understand these programs are highly competitive, so I’d like some other options. Is the only alternative to an accelerated nursing program the traditional BSN?
I’m wondering, since I already have a degree, if I could transfer in as upper division and spend two years rather than four in school. I’m having difficulty navigating the school websites, as this doesn’t seem to be explicitly listed.
