Ich schäme mich für das, was die USA machen, aber diese Gefühle, also der Hass und die Scham, haben sich mit 11 bei mir entwickelt. Ich durfte sehr früh in meinem Leben erfahren, wie schlimm die Staaten sind. Man bekommt das Schlimmste zu spüren, sobald man in keine reiche Familie hinein geboren wird. Es gibt kaum bis gar keine sozialen Leistungen. Man kann sich Bildung abschminken, es sei denn, man möchte einen Kredit aufnehmen, den man sein Leben lang zurückzahlen darf. Nicht zu vergessen ist unser fantastisches Gesundheitssystem. Die Lösung ist natürlich nie krank zu werden und nie zum Arzt gehen zu müssen.
Jedenfalls ahne ich nur Schlechtes, wenn ich über die Zukunft der USA nachdenke, aber das seit Jahren. Ich bin ausgewandert, weil ich damals gedacht habe, es wird nur schlimmer werden. Wie die Lage sich weiterentwickelt, weiß keiner. Trump wird internationale Beziehungen weiterhin zerstören. Das Leben des durchschnittlichen Amerikaners wird sich nicht verbessern. Seine Entscheidungen werden große Auswirkungen auf Europa haben. Wer weiß, was mit der Ukraine passieren wird, falls er sich entscheidet, sie nicht mehr zu unterstützen. Es scheint recht hoffnungslos zu sein, obwohl er gerade erst mit seiner Amtszeit begonnen hat. Ich weiß wirklich nicht, wie es so weit kommen konnte. Schließlich sagt Elons gestrigen Hitlergrüß viel über die aktuelle Lage der USA aus. Die Welt regt sich darüber auf, aber was ist mit dem Publikum, das die Aktion vor Ort miterlebt hat? Danke fürs Lesen.

Recently I had my check engine light come on, got the codes read and was told it was the ignition coil packs. I’ve had the car for three years, about to make the last payment, and have never had any mechanical problems besides needing to replace the lights. Since I’ve had the car awhile I decided to go ahead and replace all coil packs and spark plugs while I was in the area. While i was changing the spark plugs I noticed oil on my second and third plug, long story short I took it to a mechanic to get the valve cover gasket replaced and to get an overall look at my car. When I went to pick it up he told me everything looked okay but when he did a test drive he noticed the transmission was acting funny and was having some trouble shifting, in the time I’ve owned this car it’s always driven that way so it’s not something I would’ve noticed. With it being almost paid off I asked if it would be worth just getting a new transmission so I could avoid restarting car payments and he advised me twice that he would just trade it in because there’s no telling what could go wrong next. I’m stuck between restarting car payments or just risking getting the new transmission in hopes nothing else major happens. It has around 125k miles but I’m not sure the exact amount because the display screen recently went out. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice?

I just want to ask how long does it usually take if my tabby card is temporary blocked after my first purchase (worth 90aed - just to try it out last week). After my first purchase I pay 3 months of it already just to see if its going to unblock. Ill be paying the last bill today to see if its going to unblock my card. All of this happen the same week of my first purchase.

My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Scotland this March. We are from the west of Canada. We are hoping to rent a camper van and do a bit of touring. She is of Scottish heritage and would love to see some cool things. She's been planning a bit of a route with inspo from tiktok (I think the popular route is the NC500) I am hoping to get some ideas/suggestions/opinions on the trip like what to see, reputable camper van rentals companies, places to stay, road etiquette tips, etc...
1) Camper Van Companies: Can anyone recommend some good companies to rent a camper van from? I have come across Indie Campers and was thinking of them but would love to hear you experience if you've rented with someone else or even with them. Do most places allow you to pick up in Glasgow and drop off in Edinburgh (or visa versa) or do you have to drop off where you pick up?
2) What to see? We will be there about 11 days. We would love to explore Glasgow and Edinburgh but with limited time we might only get a day in 1 of the big cities. We both enjoy little towns, scenic routes, castles, hikes over the big cities. What are some of your favourite spots to visit or that you have been? Any hikes you can recommend? Perhaps good places to get some food? Cool spots to see some nature? I hear that there are lots of distilleries to visit as well. Anything helps
3) Places to camp: Being that we want to rent a camper van, are there many places to camp around Scotland? Free places or paid campsites? I have seen that Scotland allows to you park and sleep as long as you are respectful and don't block people in and whatnot. Also, do most campsites offer sani dumps to dispose of toilet waste?
4) Road Etiquette Tips: We do lots of camping in Canada; I have a camper of my own so I'm more that familiar with pulling to the side to let people pass if need be. I also work remotely (not 'from home' remotely but rather in the middle of nowhere in the Canadian Wilderness down windy, narrow, mostly dirty roads remotely) so I am experienced with driving a campelarge vehicle on narrow, windy, single track roads. Perhaps you might be able to tell me if there are any Scotland specific etiquette tips or some I am missing?
5) Anything else that you enjoy that we might be able to add to our trip would be awesome!
I am very excited to see the beautiful sights that Scotland has to offer!
