I feel a problem with Trumps first term is there was so much burnout and lack of caring about the stupid shit he did. "Oh Trump said this dumb fuck thing today, time to make a funny meme and forget". There was so much constant crazy shit and incidents that many of us likely forgot about.
Don't let MAGA and conservatives memory hole and play dumb. Don't let them gaslight you in 4 years that we are suddenly respected as a country. We shouldn't have to dig through unlisted videos and scrubbed articles to find criticism from their own pundits of his actions either. Everything should be archived, every stupid clip, every stupid tweet, shove it in their faces.
We should have some sort of community sheet keeping track of every day and the incidents. List the actions and effects. E.G. today X executive order happened, causing Y. If Trump does something stupid for a day include what happened with articles. If Republican lawmakers or pundits have something stupid to say or add to it (or better if the criticize him) capture that as well so they can't go back on their words.
The left need to stop acting like complete pussies. You don't just sit around hoping fascists will suddenly stop being evil while you take the high ground. You kick their teeth in. You use propaganda against them. You be on the attack at every single opportunity you can.
Will his sycophants care? Probably fucking not. But it's about changing the hearts and minds of the average uneducated 4 year coma voter.
The attacks need to be more than just "Hitler" or "Nazi" like the previous term since apparently that only made regarded centrists disregard everything. Go for things that directly effect them. Prices are high? Republicans fault. Crime is high? Republicans fault. Unemployment? Republicans.
We can say stuff is authoritarian or fascist but unless we provide historical context and examples the average person isn't going to understand shit and just think you're an angry libtard.
This country deserves better than the right.

I don't quite understand the metallic bonding at all. With what I've seen online it looks like some kind of special ion bonding with electrons playing the role of negative ions. Are they technically on the orbitals of all the nearby atoms, which makes the crystaline structure? Or they just kind of float inbetween, keeping metal atoms in one place?
How are alkali metal bonds so much weaker than the ones we see in metals of other groups?

2025.01.21 07:30 pearjudith I know this is going to sound dumb af but I’m thinking of going back

I came to the US a couple of years ago, I managed to get a bachelors degree from a good, world renowned university. I like it here and consider it home but im undocu and I’m so frustrated with not being able to advance professionally, I can’t work in my field of study or anything. I keep getting told to wait to meet someone and get married but that’s easier said than done when everyone around my small town sucks, and even then, let’s say I wait a couple of more years I feel like my degree will be useless by then. I know it’s insane because the job market in El Salvador is crappy but at least I could start working somewhere there. With a crappy pay but I’m hoping that my degree will sound good or something. I’m even thinking of getting a teaching certificate there and working at a bilingual school. My other reasoning is that there’s a chance I could move to Spain legally but I would have to start from El Salvador. I don’t wanna to f up my chance here but everything seems very bleak here now. My family didn’t have money there (hence why we’re here) but we did move around a slightly upper middle class circle. I know it’s a lot of I hope’s. I need a reality check plz help

Hi Everyone, so a bit about me.
I am 5"11", well educated, muscular. I like strength training and ive been getting into hiking more and just exploring the outdoors.
I have done pretty well in life, worked pretty hard to get where I am now and would love to meet someone who appreciates ambition and is an ambitious person.
I moved to Calgary from the UK back in June 2022, I work as a DevOps Engineer and i have been working from home for the past 5 years. Also travel to Dallas a lot for work so I am not tied down for my job, I can easily visit you.
I have been doing alot of traveling recently, I recently did a trip around Iceland, went to Hungary and visited alot of different states last year.
Looking for someone to share experiences with and just enjoy life, feel like I have reached where I need to be in life and I am ready to share that with someone. I am a homebody, I do enjoy staying at home, especially during the winters here, living alone is not fun. I also cook pretty well too.
I am the kind of person that prefers a small group of friends but they are also the ones you can trust and talk too about anything.
I enjoy social settings in small doses, I go through phases where I can be around groups of people now and again but other times I can stay at home for days on end and I would just talk to my cat instead if I had one.
I have also been looking into the vanlife stuff and I want to potentially build my own campervan and drive around the rockies and Montana and just live in the mountains for a few days and play video games in the forest next to the river.
I do have a nerdy side, I like spending time on my PC, I love board games and I am an introvert at heart but I have no issues talking to people at the same time. I also love cats, I volunteer in my spare time looking after cats before they get adopted. I will also pet any cat I see on the street.

Hello everyone.
I missed my dose 2 days in a row, not by choice but because my script was being sent over to a new pharmacy and it was stuck in limbo. For some background, I take Effexor for my OCD and PTSD, and it has been doing wonders for me. Well the first day I missed my dose, I could feel my anxiety heightening a bit and I couldn’t sleep well at all. By day two, I was having a full blown meltdown. Crying every hour, OCD thought patterns and spirals, increased suicidal ideation, basically everything that has been walled off since October of last year came flooding in. Yesterday night I was able to get my medication and finally take it, and it seemed to help over the next few hours.
Today I’m still feeling an edge to everything emotionally, and I’m hoping it doesn’t stick around for long. For anyone who has been through a situation kinda like mine, how long did it take until everything balanced out again for you?

What does this color mucus mean? So I’ve been sick for 2 days sat with an iso patient who had VRE on her wounds and some other stuff and I’ve been paranoid that that entered my system somehow because ever since then I’ve been sick body aches, headache, weakness, fever, chest pain, extreme throat pain, I got mucus stuck in my throat I panicked when the mucus got stuck cause I couldn’t breathe called 911 they said I’m just sick and that it’s going around right now and that the ER is packed so I should just go to urgent care went to urgent care I told the doctor on my symptoms with the emphasis on my throat because that’s what’s hurting me the most it feels sharp pains and hurts to swallow and cough and I have mucus stuck in it I can hear it when I cough my cough sounds a little wet (that’s just what I think) but the doctor told me I have a fever he thinks I have the flu and I might be miserable for the next two days and he gave me Tylenol and cough syrup. He said if I don’t feel better by the next two days I could have bronchitis or sinusitis and to come back I’ve been taking the Tylenol haven’t got the cough syrup yet because my pharmacy won’t have it until tomorrow , but after taking the Tylenol, everything feels much better but my throat still hurts a little with a little chest pain It hurts to swallow I get sharp throat pains every now and then most of my symptoms have subsided a lot since taking the Tylenol but still coughing up this mucus the mucus I coughed up earlier was a bit lighter, but it seems like it’s gotten darker by the second time I coughed it up. Could I have something like bronchitis and what does this color mucus mean? And will I be ok…

Idk about anyone else but on cuts I weigh before and after the gym. Today I weighed in at 215lbs before the gym. After was 210lbs. Somewhere around 15-16% bf (no anabolics).
Do you consider your weight before or after your true weight? Anyone who competes, is there a standard in the bodybuilder community for what your weight is?
