It's time to take action. It is no longer enough to just be a champions for democracy. We have to become warriors for democracy, truth, and freedom.
I have never felt more motivated to do these now than at any other point in my life and I hope you feel the same.

Hello! I am a fresh grad po and this will be my first job if ever, so sorry if dumb questions 😂
I am expecting a full time job next month. I need the money so I’m taking part-time on a company I personally know. (Not relatives, though) Now they require me to submit my govt IDs for pay. They gave me time to submit reqs until payday naman but urgently need ko mag start so I’m working now.
The part time job is virtual, super chill, and flexitime, and I don’t think mataas kita ko here. Around 10k lang siguro per month hehe. Contract ko is until April and ayoko magrenew. The full time job is a full-fledged 8 hour with pay and benefits etc.
Now what I want to happen is I don’t really want to inform my full time about my part-time. I don’t mind not declaring it as a job accdg sa advice sa other posts here pero my worry is abt contributions, taxes, etc. Can I tell HR ng part time ko about this? Especially right now na amenable naman yata sila to negotiate legal stuff.
I want want the full time job. If this complicates things, last case scenario willing naman akong umalis sa part-time. Pero yun nga po do I still have to submit my SSS/HDMF/PH sa part time?

Model: iPhone 14 Pro Purchased: March 2023 via Amazon iOS: 18.2.1
Hey folks,
I have the problem that I can no longer delete a contact but can't do anything else with it. When I open the contact, I only see a black page where I have the option to edit the contact. If I now change the name, for example, and click on Done, the Contacts app crashes without any errors.
If I now create a second contact with the same name, I get the message that they can be merged, but when I try to do this, both contacts remain.
Also the strange behavior, if now both contacts exist and I open the corrupt contact, then any random contact from my address book is opened.
I don't use iCloud on my iPhone etc. in other words, the contacts really only exist on the phone and are not synchronized anywhere.
I had Facebook Messenger on my iPhone and in the contacts I was then shown “found by Siri in Messenger”, after I deleted the Messenger app I had this contact, which I can no longer delete.
Even a new installation of Messenger didn't fix this.
I am grateful for any help!

As the title states, I've currently gotten into every college so far that has replied back with decisions! A lot of them got back early because they were safety schools, but I'm still proud of myself, and I'm celebrating the small wins. It's very comforting to know that regardless of any other school's decisions, I have options and I don't have to worry about getting accepted somewhere.

The majority of my career has been in Big 4 consulting roles until I decided to leave my last role (Global IT change management) due to my mental health issues from recovering from an experience that caused severe PTSD.
I'm currently working an hourly job at a small, family-owned business. I don't enjoy working here, but hey - health insurance.
My struggle with recovery affected many of my interviews in the past, but I've done a lot of work (and therapy) to finally be ready to step back into a professional role.
I'm looking to transition into a new role in the next three months and I want time in the work week to allocate towards job searching and interviews.
Typically I wouldn't tell my employer that I'm looking for new opportunities, but my current role is a dead end job that doesn't benefit my overall career and I get paid 30% of what I used to make.
My plan is to express my need for a reduced schedule due to personal commitments. The company prefers us to take the same day of the week off (which isn't conducive for interviews, but alas) so I'll need to be mindful about PTO requests.
The only problem is that we're only allowed PTO when we've accumulated it. Hourly retail rules and crappy PTO policy, I guess.
Advice requested: Let this small family business know ahead of time that I'm determined to transition? Or remain silent until I put in my two weeks?

Im already pretty in shape through kickboxing/muay thai.
I weight 75Kilos, 179-180 cm tall and most of my bodys weicht is muscle i would say. My Endurance and Strenght are also high. My endurance and stamina are probably my hoghest attribute.
So what im asking for would really be specialised Workouts for it and training you can maybe do on your own.
Im only joining in a year tho because right now i am in my current academy and still want to get some shit done, before "converting" to grappling. To expand my Level of fighting.
