Good morning! My 4 year old spayed chihuahua mix Chloe (18 lbs, won’t exercise, prone to UTIs from my other posts) turns out to be full of bladder stones. The girl still wiggles. She never stops wiggling and dancing around. I truly wouldn’t have guessed. But after treating so many UTIs, I asked for money for an x-ray as I’m on disability and… bladder stones. 5 or 6, and they’re relatively large. They look like eggs in there but I’m sure it’s more about the size of driveway stones or something if we’re considering the size of the organ that was x-rayed.
Regardless, I’m trying to make decisions. On the 6th I have a follow up with the original vet to x-ray and get more medications. But they recommended a cheaper vet in the area for a cystotomy… which even at the cheaper price is a grand. I can’t get credit or scratch pay. I have fundraisers going. I’m applying for part time work. But I don’t have a grand either.
I’m trying to decide if I should cancel the follow up to put that money into the account for surgery. But I also don’t know what happens if I show up to the other vet and we were lucky enough that my dog’s stones dissolved. Or in reverse, if I see they’re dissolving on the 6th, will I still need to schedule this expensive (for me) surgery? I’m looking for advice. What’s the smart decision here?

Yes i have tried the mouse_mode functions but all it does is make the cursor visible/invisible, but the cursor will always be locked in the center. So I got a gift card (love2shop) from my university as a prize.
If it was for a specific company I would know that they already have the money and I would just use it as I please or regift it because I don't feel bad it's not like family or friends gave it.
But for this kind of gift card I can choose which shop to make the gift card for. There's an umbrella option with lots of companies, or I can choose one company so I'm assuming they don't already have the money?
So can I choose to spend it at a Zionist company? Do they already have it or will it transfer when I spend the card? It's Not outright Zionist, I wanted to go for tk maxx but they sell Zionist products like Zara etc ...

So I've started playing the online sim after picking up ST-18 at my local walmart and wanting to learn the game. Watched some videos on how you can optimize the deck and saw that Gum Gum Giant is unanimously viewed as a must play four of and put that in my list. Just one weird problem, if I activate the card on the first attack my opponent makes on the sim they almost always quit the match. Like, without fail. Is it because the card is just "broken" or is it a very crude play to make so early? (I know some people quit out when I missplay enough that it's clear I'm new)

Hey Redditors!
I just had some questions about medical marijuana and my employment. For some background, my job is video forensics and I work for a state agency. While the building could be considered a 'law enforcement ' building, I and others who work there are not law enforcement, but are just civilians working for the state. Being someone who processes video footage of crime (the worst of which being officer involved shootings, which can be VERY disturbing, homicides, and unfortunately child p***) I've noticed that I've been on somewhat edge recently (for example shootings or violence in TV or movies causes me some discomfort, and makes me visualize some of the graphic stuff I'm currently processing at work). I've never tried marijuana (I had to take a drug test, as well as a polygraph test to get this job) and medical marijuana is something I've been curious about. I also have some pretty annoying stomach issues, of which I've had no luck trying the many things the doctors have prescribed. I've contacted HR and they said that outside of a different law enforcement section, all other sections are permitted to use medical marijuana. The only issue is that though the other law enforcement agency is a different entity, we both do similar things and I'm wondering if she might've thought we are under their umbrella when we're not. I don't want to ask her about our section directly, as there are only 8 people working in our section and frankly, I don't trust HR to not tell my supervisors that someone has been sniffing around the idea. We do not random drug test, and I've spoken to two people in my branch (in small talk, making sure it didn't seem like I was interested) and both said they've never been drug tested after hire. One has worked there for ten years, the other twenty. At this point I've gotten my medical marijuana card (a laughably simple process) and don't really know where to go from here. While I doubt they'd fire me if I got some reason I were to be drug tested, I still am wondering if I would face repercussions even if HR did email me saying it's fine for every section other than 'x'. I wish I could ask my supervisors about it and just be honest, but they are law enforcement and still have very traditional views on marijuana, and I would not want to unnecessarily tarnish my good reputation.
