So I have this math test, and I only provide one question and see if they can solve it, and if they do I move onto the next one. That way I'm sure there is no contamination. The questions are designed to be very hard, tricky and require good intuition.
My very first question had never been solved, except by Gemini-exp-1206 though very inconsistently. Not even o1, Claude 3.5 Sonnet etc. could solve it. Now with the release of DeepSeek-R1 it is the first to consistently solve it with correct reasoning. So I moved onto the second question and it failed.
Now I tried Flash-Thinking 01-21 it got the first original question correct, the second question it also got surprisingly correct. I try a couple of other questions which it also succeeds. At this point I'm already am impressed, and I am like, okay let's just take a visual one and throw it into the model with no context. I'm expecting failure, but no it got it correct!
Unfortunately or fortunately the next question it got incorrect, and it so does consistently, but goddamn is this model good at math.

2025.01.22 00:05 anx-ious-throw-away AITA for being mad that my parents filed a missing persons report on me?

I (f21) went up to my partners house this weekend to wait out a storm. When I'm there, I tend to forget about my phone, and tend to not respond to people until I get back home. All of my friends and my roommates are aware of that, and it's never really been an issue.
My parents and i recently started talking again, after being no contact for a while. They left when I was 16 to buy an rv and start a real estate business in Ohio to try and make their fortune. I took over the rent for our apartment and started taking care of myself, so we've had a pretty rocky relationship since.
They reached out about some mail they had sent me while I was at my partners, and I didn't respond. The next day, they called my boss, a bunch of my high-school friends, and my now 2-years ago ex boyfriend to see if anyone knew where I was. When that didn't work, they filed a missing person's report and had the police search my house.
I finally checked my phone the day after that, and saw the consequences of all of that. When I called them, I intended to apologize and give them updated emergency contact info. Then they started yelling that they were entitled to my communication and my whereabouts. I lost it on them, and told them they weren't entitled to anything from me anymore, that I was a legal adult whether they liked it or not.
I shouldn't have lost my temper, but the idea that they're entitled to know where I am and what I'm doing all the time rubbed me the wrong way and I couldn't help it.
I want to have a good relationship with them but I feel like I'm allowed to set the boundary that I'm not constantly available to them all the time. I know 21 is young, and I understand their concern, but it feels like a giant over reaction, and I don't like that they involved my job.

I'm not necessarily looking for the best sound but the one that reads the midi the best. The cc on the hi hat is the worst offender but it's not always accurate on velocity on other parts. The td25 is perfectly representing velocity and hi hat position.
So far best to worst: Logic Ez drummer Kontakt 8 Kurt ballou signature vol 1
The Kurt ballou plugin sounds fantastic but when I a/b a performance from Logic to it, there's no contest. Better off recording in Logic and dropping into kontakt track.
So is it a VST issue? Will superior drums fix it?

My household was hit with a really bad cold that had me bring my 1.5 year old into bed with me for the first time ever. She had the worst fever, couldn’t get comfortable and I just couldn’t stand the thought of leaving her in her own bed to suffer it out alone. With that being said, I haven’t had a decent night sleep for 4 nights, aside from the sickness idk how people manage to move around to change positions, god forbid you have to get up to use the bathroom, the never ending moving and constant thought of making sure to remember that she was there never let me truly fall into a deep sleep. I always wondered if I was missing out on something when I would see posts about moms who bed share, was I mean by expecting such a little human to be able to sleep on her own but these last few days have shown me that 1. I’m a better mother because I’m well rested and 2. I think she enjoys her own bed and freedom to toss and turn around without limitations so it gave me comfort in my decision to not cosleep from the beginning and sleep train at 6-months.

I have this FSC-DB200 dev board, with FSC-BT1026 bluetooth module, using it with Arduino Mega, connecting only power and UART, not as shield because obviously it is for Uno.
When I connect UART to the module pinout pins 13/14 on the board, I can both send and receive AT commands.
The module documentation says that max voltage for IO pins is 3.3V, and I've tried both voltage divider, and logic level converter, and for some reason I can only receive data from the module, but not send to it, it's driving me insane!
