2025.01.22 00:28 VoidNinja62 Intel Core Ultra 265k + Gigabyte Z890M GAMING X
I'm able to get these for $409 from microcenter which is an absolute steal.
I know the Ultra 265k is a hated CPU but for that price and getting a 3nm 20core chip I find a hard time justifying a Ryzen 9700X which was the other option.
My usage is mostly gaming, but simulation heavy and single core heavy. I'm seeing great single core results from the Ultra 265k?
What am I missing?
Plus it seems it has stock DDR5 6400 support?

2025.01.22 00:28 minisculemermaid trapped gas or gallbladder pain?
90 minutes or so ago i was drinking a small bottle of blue gatorade when suddenly my abdomen hurt so bad i started gasping for breath. 10/10 pain like all my insides had just burst. it seemed to start all at once below my ribs and above my belly button and then into my right shoulder. i hadn’t eaten anything since early this morning so i thought it was weird to suddenly be having gas pain but that’s what it felt like except it was the worst gas pain i have ever had (which is saying a lot tbh, i’m lactose intolerant and have accidentally ingested dairy products) and it was shooting up into my right shoulder. i took two max strength gas-x but the pain just kept getting worse so i walked laps around my house for ten to fifteen minutes and the pain subsided from a 10/10 to a 8-9/10 but it was still shooting into my right shoulder. i burped a few times while walking but it did not give me any relief. i laid down and did some slow bicycling kicks for a few minutes hoping that would move what i assumed was trapped gas but it didn’t however the pain slowly receded to a 6/10. the shooting pain in my shoulder subsided about 40 minutes after taking the gas-x.
i found this sub after googling gas pain shooting into right shoulder, as it says that can be a symptom of a gallbladder problem. i haven’t had gas pain shoot into my shoulder or upper back before.
when i first started writing this post the 10/10 pain had subsided completely and i only felt a little bloated but now i’m currently having zaps of pain in my right upper quadrant.
i just checked my temperature with an ear thermometer and it’s 99.3 which is pretty normal for me. my eyes and skin don’t look yellow and my urine looks normal too. i also don’t feel nauseated.
my question is, if it was my gallbladder, would the gas-x have helped as much as it did, assuming that is what helped me? or if my gallbladder had passed a stone (?) or ruptured, would i still be in extreme pain or could the pain have subsided significantly roughly 45 minutes after onset? i’m not sure what to make of the zaps of right upper quadrant pain that doesn’t feel like gas. any help would be appreciated! thank you in advance!

Just slept my first (mostly) full night with CPAP(ResMed11) after a couple nights of on and off. Noticed my 95% was 9.94 and median was 8.10, so is leaving it at 7-20 probably a safe bet for a while until I get more data and more used to it? Any other settings or changes you guys would recommend?

I thought maybe it was my partner moving around too much at night but I put a large pillow between us and woke up twice trying to hug it. I take magnesium glycinate before bed and tried using blue light filtered glasses 1-2hrs before bed but have not been able to improve this score at all. Thinking of trying a weighted blanket next.
