(United States) I did not, do not, have not, and will not vote in a presidential election. I vote locally (county and sometimes state) all for context. I am a 20 something year old male who recently moved across the country and have been putting myself out there for both platonic friendships and intimate relationships. A very common thing I have been running into is everyone is hyper concerned about presidential politics and I just couldn’t give a damn. People on the more right side seem to care somewhat less but also just say wild out of pocket shit randomly the more you get to know them. People on the left seem to care wayyyyy too much to the point of not allowing anyone who thinks differently into their space. Is there any “normal” people left? Is everyone this concerned with politics? Do I just need to grow up and pick a side? I just don’t see how politics need to be involved in a relationship whatsoever. Also to clarify if I had to make a “political stance” it would be that a female to male transgender person would be free to get an abortion and an ar-15 with back to back appointments. I believe that you should be able to do whatever you want if it’s not hurting/affecting anyone else and that we should all love eachother more than we currently do.

Why? Why do you care? I can near guarantee none of you can give an actually good answer. Please let me know if you can. This is not meant to be hateful but helpful.
Give me three examples in the real world where someone who is trans has transgressed you in a meaningful way that doesn’t happen with anyone else who was not trans.
Don’t give me stuff like “it’s not in the Bible” that book was made before basically any other modern advancement.
Don’t give me “well I may want to have kids one day and trans women can’t have biological kids” if you want kids then eventually marry someone who can have kids it’s not that difficult or just have a surrogate.
And to anyone who responds please be civil I don’t want this turning into a battleground. I will try to remain calm as well through out this.

It's basically a moving video on a 3D Shape Layer
I had an idea when I proposed this to my client, then I shockingly discovered that you cannot mask a video on a 3D layer while also linking it making it also follow the 3D movement of the shape. Does anyone know how to do this, or does anyone know of any tutorials regarding this?

2025.01.22 00:21 Ordinary_Ad3446 AIO for wanting to stay friends or break up when I’m 18 (I need advice)
Okay so to be clear I’m 17 right now.
I met this girl through mutual a mutual friend when we first met we will call her M. She was kind of rude but she apologized a few days later and since then we became cool.
M has had on and off attachment with this other girl at her school who was leading her on. The other girl let’s call her L has a girlfriend . The problem is that after she lost feelings for L. L became touchy and flirty and M was often venting to me and a shared friend.
Apparently some way through M caught feelings for me and I did to. What I didn’t know was that M is 15. I’m 17.
I do like M but she does have major attachment issues and has been hurt many times before. I don’t want to hurt her feelings but it doesn’t seem right for a 18 year old and a 16 year old to be dating. I already know M has a past of trying to off herself. I turn 18 in august M says she doesn’t care but I do and my point is that we can be friends but I don’t know if I really wanna fw her until we’re both in like college or something.
But I don’t want to loose her as a friend and if we were to date we would have to break up when I’m 18 which gives her like 7 months to find someone else. My other point is that we live an hour away from each other and would only see each other once a month if that.
Also Iv asked friends for advice one of my friends can’t really help because she’s 16 and her boyfriend is 19 and next yer she will be 17 and a senior and he will be 20 in college. All my other friends are single…so I really need help.
Please don’t be mean and give positive advice. I am genuinely worried about M’s health and what might happen if I say no.
Our shared friend is trying to push me to say yes but I’m not ready and it’s stressing me out

2025.01.22 00:21 ThrowRAsplinter Hips get super tight when I workout a year later
One year ago I (F,28) hurt my hip pretty bad (having sex of all things LOL). I originally thought it was a pinched nerve but after many physical therapy sessions, my physical therapist suspected it to be either hip impingement or possibly a labral tear. I have been out of PT now for about a 6 month and I am SO grateful that my leg has been basically cured.
I am now back into my workout routine and I have noticed my hip definitely isn’t the same. I do a ton of stretching, strengthing and mobility for my hip. But when I squat, lunge etc. (even have sex in certain positions) my hip does “hurt” during the movement. It’s not sharp. If anything it feel like it’s super tight in there and the space isn’t big enough if that makes any sense.
My question is should I go back to physical therapy for this? Should I stop the squats and lunges until I can get it to calm down?

My apologies if this is a common question on here. I have terrible anxiety for all things dentistry after years of bad experiences. I couldn't bring myself to dig through all these posts.
Background - about 2 years ago I cracked a tooth (#14 molar I think). It needed a crown, dentist said it was 50/50 as to whether a root canal was needed. I made it through the crown, and was told if it was sore after a week I should do the root canal. It seemed fine though. About a year later, I got a terrible toothache, dentist said it developed an abscess, gave me antibiotics and told me to schedule the root canal once it was healed.
It felt better after the antibiotics and I chickened out of the root canal.
The past 2 or 3 days it's started hurting again. I noticed that there appears to be a gray area at the gumline on the back of the gum by that tooth.
It's abscessed again, isn't it? I need a root canal, don't I? I'm terrified of it, they can never get me fully numb, I feel the drill every time. I'm shaking now just typing this. If a root canal is inevitable, what am I in for? What happens if I don't get it? Does it get worse until I lose the tooth, or do I just deal with periodic pain when this flares up?

I’ve always had detailed dreams that I remember, but ever since I started Zep 2.5 10 days ago, I’ve been having the wildest dreams. Especially long and vivid. Not nightmares, but crazy funny dreams.
Last night I dreamed that I was having a backyard BBQ party where my dog kept chasing and wrestling with that emu from the Liberty Mutual ads.
Anyone else ever experience this “side effect” or is it a coincidence?

I have a column of dates and I want to color code them according to *relative* Government fiscal Quarter (Oct-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep). So, Ideally, I would have all dates in current quarter be red, all in next quarter be orange, then yellow, then green. And this would update in real time as quarters change. Is this possible?
