 | There is a display window in Disney’s California Adventure Park that has some old/school metal rolling stock and two different width three rail track gauges. The smaller one is the standard O-gauge track. The larger one had a couple of O-scale cars on it, that did not actually fit in the track. It rested between the rails. tengo 31 años, siempre tuve ese problema y es bastante jodido, soy lento aprendiendo todo, generalmente tengo dificultades en todo, tengo mi propia manera de hacer las cosas ya que se me hace mas facil asi que seguir un procedimiento estandar, necesito muchas practicas y repeticiones para poder comprender algo, tambien necesito ejemplos de la vida real y cosas visuales y palpables cosas que pueda usar y probar, no comprendo las ideas de los demas, si me explican algo con palabras no comprendo no le puedo encontrar la forma, en la escuela recuerdo no comprender a la profesora de educacion fisica cuando explicaba como hacer un ejercicio ella usaba palabras mayormente para explicarnos a todos y demostraciones visuales muy vagas poco explicitas y yo era el unico repito el unico que no comprendia, no comprendo nada de conceptos teoricos, nada de palabras, ni matematicas, y la imaginacion tampoco es que tenga mucha, para poder comprender un concepto teorico necesito ver fisicamente o un ejemplo de lo que es, por ejemplo: llevaba como 3 años sin comprender como era una idea compleja hasta que alguien me dio ejemplos y pude hacerme una idea pero no lo comprendi del todo tampoco, pensar y generar alguna idea no es muy facil para mi puedo hacerlo pero tardo mas que los demas, todos los que me han conocido se quedaron con la creencia de que yo soy tonto, tengo un conocido que piensa que si alguien no comprende instrucciones en palabras y necesita algo visual para comprender es tonto.

Today I was looking for food in my kitchen when my grandpa sparks a conversation by starting it with "Elon didn't do a salute, he was waving at someone in the crowd" so I told him if that's what it was, he shouldnt be afraid to do it on video for me. He proceeds to tell me he doesn't understand what I mean by that and how Elon can't be a Nazi, he's from South Africa (yeah...) and how the media is trying to twist everything. THEN HE SAYS "even if he did do a Nazi salute, so what?" I'm moving out in a week thankfully. I just needed to get this off my chest. I have him saying this recorded. Might play it at his funeral.
This isn't meant to be a political rant, just a moment that happened at the inauguration and how my grandpa understood it. I can't believe I have to preface that but here we are.

I'm studying games technology at school so I need to code but also play games so I'm looking for a gaming laptop that would work best.
I have a budget of around 1k USD. (can be slightly above if exactly what I need)
Some extra detail for what I'm looking for: Battery life is important as I will use my laptop outside of my home Performance is also important as I don't want to wait for my code to compile for a very long time and want my games to run smoothly
I only play gatcha games so I need it to play games like genshin impact (unity) and wuthering waves (unreal engine 5). (my i7, RTX 2060 PC can run then fine so around that ballpark, or similar performance wise for a laptop)
As my games are big, for storage space I'm looking for 1TB, if need be at least have expandable m.2 slots
For the laptop size I want to be able to have the numpad so 16” is what I'm aiming for.
I tried to answer everything in the post but if I missed anything feel free to ask. Thank you in advance!

Hi All
My wife and I (m38) have a 7 year old boy who is very "matter of fact" / stubborn.
My niece has decided to transition to a women. My wife and I have no issues with any of this, and we haven't ever raised our kids badly in this regard (or at least we have tried our best).
My niece (mtf20) is coming over tonight for dinner, this is all good. My 7 year old has no issues with her new name, but today I told him that she was coming over and he said:
"Yay I can show him this toy etc" I said "we call her, her now". He said "but NAME is a boy" I said "but she has asked us to call her NAME and her" I was struggling at this point. He said "but that's impossible, boys can't become girls" getting stubborn.
At this point we went up to my wife and now struggling to have a talk about all this, but he's being stubborn on it. I've tried to explain biology and gender and stuff but yeah we trying.
So my question is and I hope this is the right place to ask this, but any tips to explain this better to our 7 year old?

I am a "cute" enough girl I guess. Not particularly pretty imo not ugly but def not your basic average face apparently.
TO some i am prob ugly. Growing up I got told im ugly by guys a lot in school, then id be approached about modelling in the same week and the scout or photographer would say that I have such a unique face. I shied away from it bc i felt unattractive. I doubt i wouldve made it far anyway. im not quite tall enough. My photography teacher was creepy and would hit on my pretty friend and always told me I was strange looking..... at that point I just accepted it I guess and didnt fight back but it did damage my self image.
This was when I was a teen. Im older now but still get told im unusual, etc and it bothers me, to be honest. I get told im pretty or beautiful sometimes but mainly ppl stare at me and idk how they perceive me. I never know whether to flirt with a guy i find attractive bc theres a 50/50 chance he thinks im ugly. I have become introverted i think because of having to live with all these comments, sadly.
TBH - Id accepted myself and forgot about most of this but tonight, I ran into some guy (didnt recognize him) and he insisted he knows me from when we were kids. He said i have a super recognizable face so hed know me anywhere. Turns out we did go to school together but hes several years younger. Im not gonna lie that comment triggered me. After that I was a bit dry in convo I think and he eventually moved on. Anyone else have this, and just kinda wanna blend in and be left alone? DO people not realize being told youre unique looking can be taken as an insult?
