2025.01.22 00:40 Living-Ranger1075 Could my IUD by effecting my oestrogen levels?
TLDR; having severe cramps and vaginal dryness for the last 3 months and the only thing that I can think has caused it is my IUD and stopping birth control tablets (approx 6 months ago) Is that possible?
TMI WARNING AHEAD: I’ve had an IUD for a little over a year, at first it was making me bleed 24/7 so my doctor prescribed a “Ethinylestradiol 30microgram / Desogestrel 150microgram” tablets to take for a while to see if the bleeding sorted itself out.
I took them for about 6 months before the constant bleeding finally stopped on its own. I had a weird experience with them though where my period would start regardless of whether I was taking the tablets - almost like it was overpowering them lol.
So anyway, I stopped taking these about 6 months ago and at first everything was fine, but for the last 3/4 months during my period I’ve been having really bad cramps, really painful vaginal dryness, and a very light and long period.
These were never symptoms I used to have, I had manageable cramps and heavy but short periods, and the dryness is completely new. I’ve had a google and the most common cause seems to be low oestrogen levels, but I can’t think of anything but the IUD/stopping birth control tablets that could have caused this!?
I know I should talk to my GP, but they have a habit of just prescribing you whatever you think you need, so I wanted to get some proper advice first. Anybody else had a similar experience?

So I work as a wildland firefighter during the summers and spend most of my free time outside hiking, biking, backcountry skiing, nordic skiing, you name it. For long days, energy bars with sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, sugar, or chocolate are my quick go-tos for a quick reboot (cliff bars, Z bars, trail mix with choclate). And sometimes, when it's a brutally long day, I drink a small amount of coca cola for quick regain of glucose. Also, fire lunches usually include processed sugars in it (fire lunches or jacked up and lack actual calories, ya'll should look into it). And when they do give us fruit, it's usually uneatable. Like too ripe.
What are your tips for these kinds of situations? Are honey and maple acceptable? Or just try for dried fruit like dates and raisins for the needs?
I want to quit for better fluctuation of energy and to clear up my skin.

I never had sex much before anyways but just the mental aspect of engaging again and transmission is a killer. I still sat quiet not making content about you, not speaking your name. Let me reiterate: YOU. SPOKE. ON. ME. MULTIPLE. TIMES. IN. YOUR. LITTLE. SHOW. I’ve capitalized all the words and put periods after each word because I know how much you love doing that. I figured you would be able to comprehend it better. Last night you mentioned me striking your YouTube channel for copyright. Look at you telling the truth on that one!! I’m super proud of you for that. That had to have been hard considering that you’re not used to that, especially when you speak about me. Are you certain about the timing though? You posted the song 3 days ago correct? For almost a year I’ve sat and watched you attempt to assassinate multiple people’s characters. 2025.01.22 00:40 eBICgamer2010 Ultimate Marvel at 25: The Ultimate imprint left a net positive influence on the MCU.
Ultimate Marvel (1610) did not exactly have the best reputation. It started out from ground zero, making everything you familiar of yesterday as fresh as tomorrow. By the end of its lifespan, the imprint is known more for it's nonsense edginess and non-stop depression (because people can't help but post and mock the four something infamous panels from that imprint).
But God, I can't lie how the philosophy of the Ultimate imprint is what kept the MCU in check. Cinematic blockbuster production. The balance of reality versus fantasy. But most importantly, it sells you believability. I know the MCU was inspired by the stories of 616, even as far back as its infancy. But it owes so much of its success to a still-alive Ultimate imprint at that point in time.
616 sells you nearly endless stories of fantasy, equals nearly infinite well of creativity to draw from, but it indulges in its own worst qualities which are bigger turn-off than what 1610 did back in the late 2000s. Inconsistent artist lineup; inconsistent power scaling; the under-developed, over-abundant cast of characters that inhibit the universe and most importantly, the endless waves of relaunch and event.
By the end of the Infinity Saga, 1610 had celebrated the end of that universe and its somewhat uneventful epilogue in the Spider-Men 2 miniseries, and was clearly not of use. Meanwhile Marvel Studios began to lean more into the philosophies of 616, going as far as claiming its name and claiming all the good and bad qualities of 616.
On the one end, better production value, better emphasis of fantasy, wider and more expansive universe. On the other end, inconsistent power scaling, under-developed and over-abundant cast, inconsistent creative lineup. The only thing it doesn't adopt is the endless waves of relaunch and event. That sounds a tad bit too familiar.
Even as the MCU outlived Ultimate Marvel in the number of active years (16 vs 15), I think we are due (and ready) for another wave of Ultimate influence.
