2025.01.22 00:36 hero7defamilia Sluggish performance and "no sim"
The last several months My 6A has been acting sluggish. This is across multiple apps of all different types. And then a couple days ago his inexplicably been losing touch with the SIM card I guess? A couple times I've picked up the phone to see there's no sim card but of course there is. I restart the phone and it's resolved but all this has been annoying.
Any possible troubleshooting or are we being pushed off towards more recent Pixel models?

Ancient Greeks were clean people and washed their hands before entering homes, temples and even cities. This act wasn’t exactly for hygiene reasons, but to remove the “Miasma” -spiritual pollution- collected on the person. This water was sourced from any fresh clean water, but in some circumstances, seawater was used. This is called Khernips. In 1987, the famous classical scholar Walter Burkert published his book “Greek Religion”, in this book he mentions Khernips and a related ritual where priests would take a burning log from the temple hearth and extinguish it in water to purify the water. This water would be used by visitors to cleanse themselves before entering the temple. Burkert specifically mentions that this water was not blessed or consecrated, it was just “purified” water. (Purified in terms of ancient people’s thought of clean). Since the publication of Burkert’s book, Hellenic Polytheists have taken his words out of context and spread this idea that we must “make” Khernips and cleanse ourselves before rituals. The “rite of making Khernips” can be quite elaborate like adding salt, burning herbs, lighting matches, including aromatic oils, I’ve even seen people claim it can only be rainwater etc. I actually like some of these rituals, it can help establish ritual headspace and add performance flair, but it should be noted that this is modern practice. My dad died in 2009 and my mom died in 2023. I sure do miss them more than I ever thought I would. When I see an old mustang I always think of my dad and then certain songs (what a wonderful world) makes me think of my mom. I heard that song today on the radio and I wanted to call her and talk to her so bad I can’t stand it. I don’t want to be the oldest generation in my family. I’m a believer and believe we will all be together again but I sure want them here with me some days.

Hello,
I have a very old computer that has started to show its age. I've wanted to upgrade for a while now, the issue is that everything except maybe the PSU and case can't be reused in a new build. Which means I'll have to get a new motherboard, GPU, CPU, and more.
What I have found is that there are many ways to purchase computer parts nowadays. Right now I'm debating whether to buy an used GPU from Ebay, a bundle deal from Microcenter, or a prebuilt from MC.
My budget is under $600. I'm not sure if this is too low so I'll appreciate some advice.
I'm not much of a gamer, but I have been wanting to play games like Elden Ring and maybe GTA6 (if it ports to PC).

So my pc randomly decides to not give video output when I turn it on, so to fix I have to turn it off completely, hold the power button to drain the remaining energy, and turn it on again so it gives video. It also doesnt do this everytime I turn it on, it's literally randomly, does anyone know what the issue most likely could be?
