I got a 2022 Kia sorento 37,000 miles from Carmax. It has had one owner and by the looks of it he has had his necessary oil maintenance changes. I pulled a carfax and the last entry says transmission check. During my 10 day exchange period I noticed the trim had faded and Kia is going to replace under warranty. Also, the transmission seemed shaky when you went to start from a stop at a light. I also felt a lag when it shifted from a higher gear to a lower one. Took it to Kia and they are saying I need a new transmission. Gears one and four are sticking. They are saying they will replace it and I get a loaner vehicle until fixed. This is a bummer as I just had the car five days. Anyways, should I return or should the new transmission be ok? Not sure why Carmax didn’t pick this up. Any suggestions?

If you've been on reddit in the past few days you'll know one of the reasons - but besides the elephant in the room, the site is quickly becoming worthless without an account and is generally losing relevancy and reputation.

I got this tattoo last Wednesday. It shows no signs of infection but boy does it hurt! It hurts when I'm sitting, it hurts when I'm walking, it hurts when I'm laying down. How long can I expect to be feeling this? My other tattoos are either small or line work so they just didn't hurt like this.

2025.01.22 00:44 Capital-Attempt7987 No one knows that I've failed and I might fail once again.

The schedule I'm speaking of: I go to bed at morning 7am, wake up at evening 4pm. I slog myself to make food and do chores, now it's 9pm. I sit to study, I start wandering about stuff so I decide to write it off, now I get all ruminative which sparks my emotional rollercoaster. Now it's 3 am. I panic and force myself to study, barely paying attention to lectures.
I think I might fail. Look I've already failed once, I cannot afford it anymore, so much so that I might be better off dead that to see that day. I have a test today, I'm sure I'm going to perform poorly. I thought I could prove my teachers wrong, I guess they were right.
But I you I never was a weak student. I would sit for hours reading books, making sketches and loved writing stories, doing maths. My parents have given up on me, I'm afraid my friends will find out soon and will start distancing too. I've become so good at hiding my depression with humor that most people think I'm a very chill person. What do I do? My world is falling apart and I cannot bear a single second without escapism.
