My goal is to tackle this in 1.5 years If I'm lucky, I can finish it off by January 2026.
Currently a student, graduating with a Masters in 4 months.
Student loan debt.. seriously.. not worth it 😒. Higher education is always good.. but i don't really think college degrees yield so good of a ROI.
Anyway wish me luck.. this beast has been looming over my head for about 10 years -_- . If I was smarter, I would've tackled it earlier. But the time is now or never. Time to get my freedom back 😊

To keep this brief, I'm trying to decide between Brandeis and Northeastern for a Masters Program in bioinformatics. Both programs seem great, but Brandeis is about 25k cheaper so I want to go there. The only thing is that Northeastern has an opportunity for work experience via co-op. Is this super necessary in a grad program?
I currently work as a tech in a lab that does lots of NGS so I would hope I could just get experience from there, not sure if that experience would translate as well as the co-op though.

So first winter and first mobile home buyer. Had the pipes freeze twice due to the heat "tape" not working (no idea really why other than it's a metal bar and I found a leaking pipe the first freeze).
