This morning I woke up feeling pretty normal for being awake at 5:30 am and tested my blood sugar because it’s been a little wonky lately and I wanted to track it for a few days to see what was up. It was 51. That’s a scary number. I feel like something is wrong. I was diagnosed as hypoglycemic at around 8 years old. No diabetes diagnosis ever. I've mostly lived my life knowing the queues from my body that I need to eat but lately started tracking my glucose levels a little more. I fainted in a World Market (v embarrassing) a few weeks ago and that was when I realized I should take it more seriously. Throughout the days my range is pretty normal, but the mornings are lower. I eat mostly healthy, pretty high protein, low-ish carb (not too crazy tho cause I need them). I could probably consume less sugar. Perhaps there are some changes I could make with my evening meals? Not sure if this is important but I'm 30 now and was diagnosed with PCOS at 23. I’ve gained some weight since getting an IUD and I’m now getting it removed. Any advice would be appreciated because I’m freaking out a little.

I reached out to my university's wellbeing service before Christmas when I was unable to sit my exams due to worsening mental health. I had one teams meeting with someone who suggested I should get a mood lamp and maybe postpone my studies. I am now into my second week back and am continuing to struggle. I went to check my emails, thinking I would contact them again only to see an email stating my case had been closed due to me not reaching out again.
Is it just me who finds this a very dismissive way of handling wellbeing concerns? I really don't know how I should be communicating with the university now in regards to my mental health. It's really disheartening to be honest.

New to cycling, new to clipping in. I went with the Speedplays because I will primarily be using the bike for Triathlons and these cleats seem to have the best walkability (for transitions). I also liked the idea of getting a dual power meter as I only have a single-sided 4iiii at the moment and honestly it’s hit and miss (connectivity mid-race, mainly. Although I could possibly blame the head unit for that, but that’s for another day).
I installed the cleats and left the walkable cleat covers out, as I figured I wanted to play around with the “float” settings and determine what I liked/needed. Turns out, the cover protects the pedal and it actually makes it easier to unclip. Without the cover, the shoe just spins around the pedal and doesn’t actually disengage, you’d have to pull (more like yank) it off. After clipping in and out twice, I’ve ready scratched up my (very expensive) power meter pedals.
Quite upset but curious to know if anyone else running these have similar marks in the same spot, Might just be inevitable wear?
