i (M20) have been feeling for the past few years completely disconnected, with no passion for life. i used to feel great, and feeling like i was moving towards some grand purpose and building my "legacy". ever since learning more and more and ultimately feeling what feels like an uncomfortable truth to me, of nihilism.
ive massively struggled with any kind of motivation, feel disconnected and empty even from close family and friends and i gradually move more and more distant. without this, anything i do in life seems to feel meaningless and empty. i hate this, im wondering if i should try and delude myself and keep telling myself , gods real and i need to keep pursuing my purpose even if i dont genuinely believe it. maybe even become more narcissistic and be more self obssesed with my looks, and have more competitive ego and drive - because its all evaporated from me.
in almost anything that i do , wether im trying to escape and watch a film / working a job / speaking with my closest family , i have constant inner thoughts of "none of this matters, we are all going to die and be forgotten" on repeat .
ive had a horrible relationship with death my whole life - when i was 7 i used to stay awake for multiple days because i was terrified of letting go and maybe never waking up (obviously stupid) + in my early teens for coping with my constant fear, i completely blocked it out and didnt even accept death as a possibility or a thought (which doesnt seem healthy either)

Hi would like to seek an advice regarding my situation in my work in Marriot West Coast. So for a context, im a FnB supervisor. I usually work evening shift. I make roughly 20$ an hour, i supervise our evening shift especially the Bar and kitchen, usually the bar needs help due to it takes time to make a cocktail and to address to all guest at the same time. Im having a problem due to my bartenders not wanting to share the tips with me. Our bartenders made 14$ every hr plus tips. On the busiest day i always help them throughout the shift while doing paperworks. Would gladly accept your feedback.

Ok, maybe someone can help explain this to me. I have been out of collecting for years, but tonight I saw on the news that an 11yo boy in Los Angeles pulled the 1/1 Paul Skenes Topps patch card, and now is courting offers from the Pirates organization (30 years of season tix behind home plate) and several cash offers as high as $300K as auction houses jostle to say they have it. (and mark it up and sell it before Skenes pops an ACL and fades into obscurity / or hold it until he has a hall-of-fame career)
But here's my boggle. I go on google, type in 1/1 Skenes, and like 40 different videos pop up with 40 different dudes showing off their "1 of 1 Skenes rookie" and whatnot. How many 1 of 1's of this guy are out there? And if there are 400 different 1 of 1's, are they REALLY that rare? Or are they all the same card with a slight difference? Is he weak to water and fire attacks but strong against psychic and grass pokemon?
What the hell is the deal? Are 99% of those videos just liars who need attention? Or does this above average pitcher from a team that hasn't seen the pennant since like.... 1992 ... really have a whole cornucopia of unique cards (each slightly different from the others) floating out there, waiting to be found??
And while were at it, why dont baseball cards come with that one shitty short piece of hard gum that was insanely tastey dispite being hard as a rock? That was my favorite part of baseball cards as a child. Please help clear up this Skenes mystery for me. Thank you

 | Hola a todos. En noviembre realicé el trekking a la vuelta del cerro Huemul. Tuve suerte y me tocaron días lindos para realizar este sendero de 3/4 días pero no para realizar lo clásico (que si bien lo hice, estuvo bastante nublado). Para realizar el recorrido hay que alquilar arnés porque hay 2 tirolesas para cruzar, es bastante divertido. Luego dependen del buen clima para el 2do y 3er día de caminata dado que llegan al Portal del viento y portal Huemul lugares donde se camina por laderas de cerros y si llegase a haber mucho viento, es peligroso. Por lo que es vestimenta, ropa abrigada y un rompeviento obligatorio. Para este trekking deben registrarse en la página de parques nacionales, está categorizado como expedición. Lo lindo es que se contemplan los hielos patagonicos, un glaciar que se extiende desde Argentina a Chile, es un mar de hielo. Thought it was starlink but after looking at videos these were way closer and flying in formation at one point they stopped and hovered for a while and then took off in formation single file following one another keeping an even but far distance between eachother. When it went above me it looked like a drone or a jet but i couldnt hear anything maybe a slight "woosh" when one of them went by but it was super silent. Military possibly? Seemed like they were heading West or Northwest
