Hey there,
So I (23m) been with my girlfriend (22m) for 3 years now. We’ve broken off 2-3 times but always comeback together in the end and it has always been me trying to settle things.
Now, when I was in my college (covid-19 era), I couldn’t go out and make friends, so a lot of people I have socialised through come from dating apps. Heck, I even met my girlfriend through hinge out of all places.
In last couple of months ever since I’ve started my masters degree, and going out, my girlfriend has always been insecure. My girlfriend has an issue with me meeting one of my close friend (girl) on a daily basis in college (close friend and I literally have same college).
Now, I get that insecurity because of female friends. I have made all of mine talk to my girlfriend and literally follow her just so she feels secure. However, my close friend is a big time introvert who barely talks. Now, my girlfriend is always ranting about that girl saying that she feels “weird” that one of my closest friends doesn’t talk to her or appreciate my relationship?
One time, I was supposed to meet my close friend at a metro station. Now my friend was talking some time, and my GF was nearby so I called her and thought they could meet. However, my close friend started panicking because she doesn’t know much about the area here (she’s from America) and called me to get to her immediately. I started walking with my GF to her, but suddenly my GF just disappeared from behind me? She was like that “you didn’t want me to meet your friend there’s something going wrong between you” but again, I didn’t want my friend to get mugged or something?
I might have messed up so I still tried calming down my GF. I kept telling her about my close friend’s life how she’s dating and what’s she upto. I thought these things would help but she’s always paranoid about my close friend.
I was supposed to go to a concert day after tomorrow with my girlfriend but she canceled the plans (her mother said no because the concert is literally in a different city at 11 pm which makes sense) Now, when I’m making plans to go there with my close friend, she started a fight with me and blames me for not understanding her and whatnot.
After this fight, we haven’t talked for a day or two. I’m considering breaking up because it’s like I can’t go out with my friends, can’t make new ones in college because GF is always paranoid. This is all despite the fact that I spend all day talking and meeting my GF every 1-2 days.
Am I being the ass in this situation or there’s something I should?

I’m thinking about joining Liberty University for my A&P through the Piedmont Airlines partnership. I saw an advertisement online, and i have mechanical experience from working on cars. I'm 22. From what I’ve read, Piedmont will pay for my tuition if I go through this program, and work for them for two years.
Before I continue, I’d like to hear from anyone who has done this or knows someone who has. What was your experience like? How is the A&P program at Liberty? How is working for Piedmont?
I’m trying to figure out if this is worth it, if there’s anything I should know before committing, or a better route. Any advice, stories, or opinions would really help me out!

2025.01.22 04:32 mikmatthau Landlord considering selling the building where I rent -- what might my options be?
I rent in the city and love my apartment (and my landlord, as much as that's possible). Yesterday he toured some real estate people through all the units and I'm trying to ease my anxiety by determining what the likely outcomes might be. Would love thoughts from anyone who's been through this! Here's what has occurred to me:
1) he keeps the building and doesn't change anything (yay!) 2) he turns building into condos (I move out) 3) he sells the building, new owner turns units into condos and I'd have to buy (I move out) 4) he sells the building, new owner keeps renting at same price or with minimal increase (shantay, I stay) 5) he sells the building, new owner jacks price up (sashay away) 6) he does TICs or new owner does TICs (I have to invest or move out.... I think?)

That’s it! I love nerdy things. I love taking about them or things associating with them. I want to meet a woman who is excitable about some of the things I am or even partakes in some of the same hobbies. Of course, have your own life and interests but something like tabletop rpg's is such a big social thing for me, it would be nice to share for example some of the stuff I enjoy...
Dungeons and Dragons! I love it. I enjoy other tabletop rpg systems in general but it’s a big part of my life and it would be wonderful to meet someone who is into the hobby as well. I also try other systems as well like Cyberpunk Red and Call of Cthulhu. And so many more, I also really like showing people and teaching them.
I like reading. I’ve gotten back into reading since covid. It made it hard but I’m in a book club for less serious material. It’s once a month and I always look forward to it.
I LOVE Star Wars. Unfortunately i do, I can’t help it. I’m an Episode 8 defender but sadly most of the new shows aren’t kind of average. Andor is incredible nd I will love it for ever. Love the games, the TTRPG’s and everything about it. Someday I’ll go to Star Wars celebration.
Video games! Naturally I play video games. Currently playing Helldivers and Cyberpunk 2077. I enjoy Halo infinite and other co-op stuff. I’m trying to stream on twitch now even but I still feel awkward.
More important stuff
Look, I am fat. Not chubby. Just fat. I’m not ashamed of it. I have no health issues but I am working on losing weight because damn, since quitting my career (yes I have quit) I realized I really wore myself out. I was mentally and physically exhausted from my career and it made me just well get up in weight.
I like being with friends. I’m social but introverted. I like to call people. I like to hang out and watch movies. I like talking over a drink for hours. I have a great group of friends and we’re all a bunch of nerds. And some more stuff central to me. I’m Latino, progressive/liberal, vaccinated, and just assume i support BLM, LGBTQ+, women’s rights, and Free Palestine. I love my city. While I don’t have plans to leave anytime soon I would for the right reasons such as a new career, partner, or Nintendo calls me up and asks me to advise on the next Zelda.
- I like animals.
- I prefer calling over texting but will text
- I enjoy music but I generally like it quiet near me if I am alone
- I am 420 friendly, I do like edibles and some other stuff but it's not really a habit I partake in regularly
- I'm mostly Child-Free, I am open to children but I am seriously considering getting snipped
- Love Languages: Spending time together and physical touch
- I generally don't like getting gifts (unless if the gift is food)...I just hate having too much stuff
- I am generally a homebody but if you are outdoorsy, like to be out, I will 90% of the time join you unless if I am feeling socialized out

Even when I get the green check mark while submitting. No explanation either. Why does this keep happening??

Hi,
I upgrade Kicad from 5.0 to 8.0, when I want to open project made in 5.0, the project rescue helper is opening. That say "this schematic was made using it lder symbol libraries..." I have the choice between rescue symbols or skip rescue symbol, which one is better in your opinion ?
I've try both, and with both I have issue when I check the ERC : all the chip like TL072 or 4015 and so on, I have to replace the unit of each (unit A, B, C...)why I have to do that ? It's a pretty big schematic, so if I can not to do all this manually, it will be much pleasant...

sorry if this is a dumb question but is it possible for my laptop to be bricking my headphones when i try to connect them? i dont know if its coincidence but ive had two pairs of headphones/earbuds that have stopped connecting to my phone after ive tried to pair them to my latop. And ive just gotten a new pair for christmas that were somewhat costly so i dont know if i should risk it again and potentially ruin these ones too? my laptop is an acer aspire 3 a315 that i got refubished from target. thank you in advance for any answers and help!!
