 | Washer started to sound rough, stopped it and immediately noticed the drum wobbling. I’m a new homeowner who’s gotta replace a variety of things already so if economically reasonable I’d like to try and fix it myself. If it’s shot, I’d probably prefer to buy new because I just don’t trust secondhand. I met a very career minded woman on Hinge and we exchanged numbers.
We haven't went out, I'm also talking / sleeping with other people on the side but I've asked her out, she said yes but it's only happening 2-3 weeks from now due to our schedules.
She takes roughly 18 hours to respond to my text sometimes but when we do, most of the conversation we have is to put it simply, magical.
I did mention to her that I don't like the way she texts, and if she's busy I'm going to just slow down on contacting you for a while until after we go out.
She said, she likes it if guys still texts her even if she doesn't feel like replying yet. I told her I don't like doing this and I told her that I feel like I'm reaching out most of the time and I don't like that.
Coupled with the fact that she doesn't have a picture displayed on WhatsApp so sometimes when she takes a long time to reply, it makes me feel like I was ghosted.
Now, I can absolutely feel her effort that she still forces herself to reach out even when she is tired and she's just reaching out for the sake of reaching out (eg she starts conversing with me around 10 pm, we have a meaningless conversation that fizzles out and she disappears a little bit to do work half an hour later then will get back to me around 2 am when I'm already asleep to tell me that she's finally done with work) but our conversations aren't great when she does this. However I feel torn on whether I should give her space or not because of what she said.
As men, we're always taught that double texting is bad and that women make time for people they're really interested in which was why I wanted to pull away in the first place to give her space.
However, given the absolute red flag of what she told me, I don't know how to act here cause I can feel myself just trying to act desperate by texting her multiple times a day, but I'm only doing it because of what she said and I'm not enjoying talking / reaching out to her if she's not in the right mindset.

 | I just got my first cat a week ago, and I’m so excited I keep posting about it! Anyways I’ve had the dog since she was a puppy, and she’s now 6 years old. Just got the kitty and he is also 6 years old. They both seem to be comfortable around each other and respectful. I think they both want to be friends but don’t understand the other one’s language. They will sleep together but haven’t played together yet. My cat will try to rub up and weave around my dog’s legs while purring and the dog gets confused and walks away. My dog will bring her favorite ball to the cat and do a play bow and the cat will walk away. Hi! My wife (40) and I (49 in April) have been trying for over a year. We visited a fertility clinic late last year and they immediately started doing tests. Ultrasound revealed adenomyosis. HSG showed the fallopian tubes were clear. Blood work showed her AMH level is low, which is to be expected. Sperm analysis done twice showed 90 - 107 million/mL, and around 1% morphology.
My wife's job is super stressful, so we decided the best path forward was for her to resign so she can focus on her health (eating healthier, more regularly, exercise, etc), so work will stop at the end of the month. We are scheduled to start the luteal phase IVF in February. I would have preferred to have at least a month or two of rest/exercise/etc, but I guess time is of the essence and she's stressing about being too old (ultimate goal would to have two children).
I've seen quite a few posts here sharing frustration of how the medical community doesn't focus enough on male fertility, especially when testing is non-invasive. I asked about DNA fragmentation testing and the reply was that they don't have a reason to suspect a genetic component being involved. My thought is why wouldn't you want to know as much as possible before going in? The DNA frag test is a couple hundred dollars vs $17k for egg retrieval, not to mention the side effects of the drugs and emotional toll. Perhaps I don't see the bigger picture and maybe someone can shed some light. For example, "Even if the DNA fragmentation is not ideal, it still pays to do an egg retrieval, fertilize, and test whatever embryos that might come out."

I don’t exactly know what to title this, I guess it is sort of a vent but I need people to respond and give me advice if possible, if you think I fit into some type of disorder or whatever that I should bring up with my therapist, I don’t know.
I am 16 M. I’ve struggled with feeling real empathy or remorse towards things for a while, I don’t completely NOT feel it, I do feel things like guilt and remorse and empathy sometimes, but hardly. I don’t not feel emotions, in fact I tend to experience emotions strongly, like either all or nothing if that makes sense. However, in many cases, when apologizing to someone or providing comfort I know im not being truthful. I have to put on a mask almost, and act as if I’m really sorry for a situation someone else is in. Sometimes I’ll feel bad for something that I have caused, but that’s mainly centered around how what I have done would affect me. I do not really feel for other people at all. A lot of my friends come to me for comfort, and I do my best to comfort them not because I feel bad but because it feels like what I am required to do as a friend. Which I’m not against. Many things I do, like a casual “oh I’m sorry” to something or comforting, just feels like habits I’ve had to learn to fit easier into society if that makes sense. I do enjoy being close to people, I value things like that.
I get extremely angry and irritated very easily, but maybe that’s just a hormone thing. I haven’t really been physically violent with people before, I don’t think I’m that irresponsible or impulsive. I’d like to say I’m more calculated with the things I do. I’d like to say strategic? I think of stuff as a game. Where I just have to make all the right moves, be smart, and people will once again be by my side. I know how to appease to people to be on their good side.
Is this normal? Am I just like a total asshole or what?
