this isnt about me, but my girlfriend. i do not know much about immigration and ice, google isnt much help with my specific questions. i have not spoken to my gf about this yet because i do not want to scare them if everything will be okay.
basically ive heard of ice raids in califonia, i live in new hampshire. ive also heard of ice deporting legal immigrants. my girlfriend immigrated at a very young age from guatemala. they dont have an id/drivers license, and they dont know where their naturalizion papers are.
im worried. if there were to be an ice raid at their job for example what would happen with no id or papers to show? could they get detained? what happens next if so?

I'm thinking of giving one month notice to my job because, while I'm not in a rush to leave, I am ready to pursue another opportunity. The new opportunity doesn't really have a time limit on it (hence the no rush) but I'm eager to get started. I like the people at my job, so I feel like one month would be a nice gesture. That way, they don't have to rush to find someone. Has anyone had this backfire? Or did it go well for you?

 | Hi all, I have a question I canāt find the answer to. I tell my clients to take the cakes out the fridge before serving to let it come to room temp, but I feel like my cakes take a long time to get to room temp. The pic I attached was about 3 ish hours out of the fridge, so I usually tell my customers to take it out 4-5 hours before serving. (6 inch 2 layer) the bigger the cake the longer I tell them to take it out. (Yes the cake does look dense, but it was a butter cake and after another hour of leaving it out, it tasted great! ) Why do my cakes take so long to soften? Especially the outer, decorative layer of buttercream, which is Italian meringue butteceam. I crumb coat and fill with American buttercream. You can see in the picture that it just comes off in chunks if it doesnāt have enough time outside the fridge. Even if the outside of the cake is still cold, the inside is still moist and great, so Iāve never had any complaints, itās just not as soft as Iād like it to be and Iāve had maybe 1-2 people comment that their buttercream came off like in the picture. So just last night, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend and I obviously said yes, because we had a big talk about it the other day saying we were gonna like go slow and not rush anything and heās been really good at that. Now I really want to be in a relationship with him, but Iām just really scared and i donāt know why. This is my first ever real relationship so Iām not sure if itās just that? Like I donāt know, I feel like I donāt want to see him ALL the time because I like my personal space but I love being with him. And my sister HATES him with a passion because she thinks heās a bad person but heās donāt nothing but prove to me that heās changed. How are you consuming flax seed???? I started seed cycling during my luteal phase last month and I LOVED having sunflower and sesame but now that Iām in the follicular phase Iām struggling with flax seeds. I ground them up to put into a smoothie but the smell/taste is so overpowering that I canāt even stomach it.
