Когда-то очень давно читал рассказ или повесть.
Там некто (не помню, иноплатянетяне?) собрал молодых людей и обучал их заклинаниям, которые звучали как бессмысленная абракадабра. ГГ, девушка, обучается в этой "школе" и достигает невиданных успехов. Вроде, даже научилась летать сама по себе.
Больше особо не помню. Только то, что обучение заключалось в зазубривании длинных непонятных текстов. Что, полетев, ГГ чуть не погибла, и учитель сказал, что кто ж знал, что она так быстро научится, поэтому ее никто и не предупредупредил об опасности новых знаний.
Подскажите, кто знает, название произведения.

I got sent a sample from Wildcraft Herb Company on my last order. I’m usually all about green: I love their Here Comes the Sun (so sad they’re out of their big bags right now :( I don’t get paid until Thursday so I wasn’t able to nab bone) for its mood boosting and motivation, and the “Grounded in Green” is really solid, too. Very motivational and got me over some creative humps. The sample was a red blend, and I can honestly say I’d only had more commercial brand’s red and found it kind of underwhelming so I was curious but had pretty low expectations.
Holy crap I could never have been more unduly uncharitable. It was pretty awesome and a completely different experience from my last! I felt so chill and painless, my anxiety lessened and there was a huge reduction in my muscle spasms, probably due to the anxiety melting down. “Vintage Micro Red” I just ran out and I’m excited to try some of their other ones. The “rooted in red” really piqued my interest so I’m thrilled to place my next order.
Now, I’m posting this so I won’t forget to sing it’s praises, but again, I don’t get paid until Thursday. If you’re reading this, please don’t buy the rest lol I want to give them business but I also want my red and green. They do small batches which is great for quality but bad for people like me who can only make a purchase three or four times a year. Save some for me lol Wildcraft is the best

I need. Need. Badly to get out there in the streets the next March or protest. I don’t need to explain any further other than I see people protesting and marching… and I need to join them
I don’t know how to make this possible for myself with POTS. I thought obviously a rollader one with a seat, and compartment for hydration, supplements etc. anything else? Am I dumb for it all together? First off I’m so angry I can’t do the normal things a 25 year old can anyway but now I’m even more angry that I’m not out there speaking up for what I believe.

I'm not trying to make a comparison between the storytelling or world-building of Malazan and Sekiro. But of the difficult-but-rewarding nature of both. I've been trying to find a way to explain Malazan to new-comers or interested readers, and been wondering how the best way to explain the reading experience is.
If you haven't played, Sekiro has a very intricate and complex combat system. From filling in the posture-breaking for an execution-move even against the most competent bosses, right timings for deflects and parrying, choosing and using the right tools for the foe, or the right add-on for your prosthetic arm, the right timings to jump or mikiri deflect.
Every single move and timing counts. It is gruelling, and attentionally exhausting, but ultimately rewarding beyond belief when you defeat a challenging foe. Because you know you achieved that with your skills along (which you developed over the game) and not because the enemy-AI system was overly forgiving, nor because there were stun-counters at every turn giving newbies time to think and defeat an opponent just by smashing buttons repeatedly. And there is strictly ONE difficulty setting in Sekiro, and I bet the game developers within the studio called it "harder than a teenage boy looking at Sofía Vergara".
I know I went on a tangent with explaining the game, but this is precisely the feeling I got multiple times while reading Malazan.
