2025.01.22 05:05 The_Atomic_Idiot Can no longer open two browser sources in two instances
Since the latest update, I am unable to open a browser source in each obs instance simultaneously. One browser will open just fine, but the second simply has a black window. Note that using display capture as a source in the second instance will work a-ok.
Has anyone else encountered this?
P. S.: I think the warning pop-up that comes from right-clicking the taskbar icon to open a new instance has changed. Previously I believe it warned of excessive use of a pc's resources, but now it simply says the current instance needs to be closed before opening a second instance.

Sorry for the catchy title but to break down definitions: by “most”, I mean 70%+, and by “stupid” I mean people who will loudly, confidently, and wrongly make assertions with random antagonism, and post some nasty comment without bothering to read.
Remember the incident when many babies bombarded a US Youtuber over the listening comprehension question? That is the perfect example of the level of stupidity demonstrated by many toxic people here. In fact calling them babies is an insult to babies. Babies are innocent and meant to be cherished, and it is not their fault for being stupid. Toxic Redditors are the complete opposite and choose to be stupid.
Charles Darwin would definitely have a fun day studying then if he was still alive. It’s been said that human life began in the sea, then walked onto land on four legs. Then those creatures then started to walk on two legs and then evolved into the earliest humans. I guess straight from there came the toxic Redditors.
Would a hardworking, intelligent and accomplished student waste time posting toxic comments when it won’t help them? Obviously not.
I admit I am stupid in many many things but I do not follow through on my stupidity by commenting on other people’s post without trying to understand their situation.
What happened to “being nice as you don’t know what the person is going through?” I guess it’s just funny and hypocritical to me that there are those who are “brave” to make someone even more upset by commenting behind a screen but will come crawling back to their mamas and councillors if someone offends them.
Convince me that I am wrong and it is not as hopeless as it seems, I would really like to believe so.

2025.01.22 05:05 xking_lionx My first Jeep!
Purchased my first Jeep, a 2024 rubicon 4xe and looking at lift options. Was told by the dealer if I don’t go with theirs it’ll void my power train warranty, they also quoted $4,500 for a 2”. Two questions, is it worth that price point for 2 inches? Either way I’m excited for this jeep. My daughter recently got her first one which is a 23’ wrangler rubicon. Hers seems to sit about an inch taller than mine and is factory, does the 4xe just sit a bit lower?

2025.01.22 05:05 slickest12345 Why is Selecting Multiple video files so cumbersome?
I’ve been using LumaFusion on my iPad Pro for a while now after abandoning Premiere Rush for its constant glitches and crashes. One of the things I can’t stand/don’t understand about Luma is how to efficiently import the 50-100 short clips I film for each short form video I create. As is, I have to manually tap each video using the multi-select tool from my camera roll, waiting about 1-2 seconds between each where my touches are unresponsive. If I tap a tiny bit too fast, it either doesn’t select the previous clip, or skips the clip I just tapped entirely. And once I get to the top, if I accidentally scroll too far, it refreshes and deselects all of clips I just went through. Rush, at least, is instantly responsive to my taps, and I can select all my clips about as fast as I can accurately move my finger. Or better yet, the Photos app allows you to tap and drag to select a continuous group of vids in one motion.
Is there something like this already in the app, or can we create a petition to get this feature included in the next update? This would save me so much time in setup and would allow me to get more content out efficiently.
I know a workaround is to create an album in the Photos app quickly, then select all in Luma, but that’s still a convoluted process, and will require you to delete a whole bunch of albums or ruin your file system in photos.

Hi, I'm a 30 yo trans man/AFAB and 171 lbs. I drink alchohol almost every other day, about 3 tall cans of 9.9% IPAs. I know I shouldn't and have been trying to cut down. Today I was rubbing my stomach and noticed the left side under my rib area feels a bit bigger than the other side- just barely but I can notice it when I feel it compared to the other side. I can kinda see it in the mirror too, it's just a little but has me worried now since I noticed. There's been no pain or discomfort on that side at all. I have also been eating a lot of garbage lately and have IBS so I wonder if maybe it's just something attributed to that? Or bad posture related or something fatty, I don't know. I had an ultrasound done a couple months ago came back negative for fatty liver and recent blood test, somewhat elevated bilirubin from drinking but the doctors weren't concerned. Not sure if that effects that. I'll go to the doctor soon again to check it out, but for now what would an opinion be?

Hi all, I'm new to Medium and still trying to get my bearings. I've noticed that for the one boosted article I've published I get significantly more views and reads from non-members compared to members. For example, yesterday I got a whopping 532 views and 214 reads from non-members in comparison to just 91 views and 67 reads from non-members.
89% of my traffic is internal, so it seems like most of the non-member views are still coming from people with medium accounts.
Is this typical? I've heard that there was a big problem with bots on medium but also that it's been recently dealt with. Is this a lingering effect of the bots, or are there really just heaps of non-member accounts for every paying member? I can't help but wish that all the reads came from members so I'd be getting paid more!

At the feet of the western Oroceleb or the "Silver Mountains" of Far Harad, lies a great savannah endlessly stretching beyond the horizon. Daimãré or the “Eternal Plain" has been the principal settlement and city of the Kal Goth since the turn of the Third Age. Black speech for the "Horse Lords", the Kal Goth were once a tribe of Khandsmen tasked with aiding Sauron's subjugation of Harad. They marched alongside Dardüz the Monstrous, an infamous Uruk warlord of the Samund Goth tribe who unleashed a devastating horde upon the southern continent.
With Sauron's defeat however during the War of the Last Alliance, the forces of the enemy fell into disarray and fled to the far reaches of Deep Harad. The Kal Goth were left surrounded by the Free-Peoples with no route of retreat back to Khand. Two choices lay before the Horse Lords, parley with the Haradrim and sue for peace or continue in their assault and face destruction.
During the war they had camped on the great savannah at the feet of the western Oroceleb, a territory at that time owned with no vested interest by the Dwarves of Bar Engrin. As such they granted it to the Kal Goth under decree of perpetual tribute. The righteous dwarves would however not have hostility brought upon the lands of Harad and laid clear in the terms of settlement the Kal-Goth's renunciation of the shadow.
The Horse Lords named their new home "Nalt Bar" in Black Speech or the Country of the High Grass. As the ages past, they grew into 12 clans united under their Ashurz Bartom or "First Rider", the warlord of the Eternal Plain. The Kal Goth over time became part and parcel of Haradrim society, intermixing with the Free-Peoples of Far Harad and adopting their customs, while still retaining many aspects of their original Khandish culture. As the years progressed, they became staunch allies of the continent, retaining no hints of their ancient fall to the shadow, say but their traditional Black Speech name.
Feared by the enemy all across Harad for their dexterity and unmatched cavalry, the Haradrim say that the entirety of the world quakes when Eternal Plain rides to war.
