"You may be familiar with how HDB flats at the Bidadari estate have just recently crossed their 5-year MOP. This means that they are just beginning to hit the resale market, and giving us an indication of how highly valued they are by homebuyers. For instance, back in October last year, there were a handful of flats at Alkaff Vista that were sold for over a million dollars shortly after crossing their MOP, which is indeed no mean feat given that they have essentially doubled in value in just 5 years.
Well, it seems that this will likely be the trend for flats in the estate, and the numbers certainly don’t lie. Just last month, a 3-room flat located at Block 115C Alkaff Crescent was sold on the resale market for an amazing $900K, which set the record for the most expensive 3-room flat sold in the Toa Payoh estate, and even the whole of Singapore.
Let that sink in for a moment – a 3-room flat was just sold for $900K! To give you some perspective:
- Back in Sep 2024, a 94sqm 4-room flat at the adjacent Bidadari Park Drive was sold for $935K
- Just this month alone, a 134sqm 5-room flat at the neighbouring estate of Potong Pasir was sold for $960K
As someone who has been working for more than 7 years, and am looking to settle down soon, this is very daunting :(

For the first time there is a bunch of vile ex-contestants lacking empathy and sportsmanship, and feeding their ego , just by demeaning "karan"..
Even during many such season's where undeserving people won(on basis of vote only)others never tried to pull the victory down.. But these contestants are an example of ego feeders and will never be happy with someone's success..
It's making them unbelievable that how karan surpassed votes of vivian(munawar+mcstan) and rajat(elvish+whole insta community almost)..
They are so deprived that these were the andhadhun voters.. Karan has the massive organic support this season(Karan's bb fandom+tv audience+diggy gang silently voting+chum north east support) ..
It's too hard for them to digest a deserving victory, from putting shading stories to saying vile things on media , they still have not got the reality check and appreciation for that man..
This just shows vile vile vile and vile hatred just for 1 person.. And the main reason I suppose is the PR of the other two , who are hell bent on social media for negativity and only rely on social media followers..
By this logic bb should recruit contestants who have less than 500k followers, kyuki instagram mei zyada followers wla he jeetega ..

Now that me and my boyfriend are settling into the stable relationship phase. Been together 1 1/2 months wohoo! We're both looking forward to the idea of having alone time. I guess the problem is we both feel a bit guilty that we will neglect the other if we leave each other alone. :D however if either of us asks for alone time neither has an issue with this. The main problem we are having is just us feeling guilty for asking even though the other does not mind. To complicate things further we are ldr with him being on the otherside of the world from me so of course we feel a bit extra guilty then normal cause meeting in person won't occur for a few more months. I guess my question is how do we get over the guilt we feel not communicating 24/7 and just enjoying me time?

I've been a package handler for 6 months. I started in July 2024. The first few months before peak season began was tolerable. Peak season caused me to burnout. Peak started after Thanksgiving and lasted until a few days after Christmas. Not that peak is over I find myself complaining more and more about this damn job lol.
The line managers are decent but the station manager is a mean, inconsiderate bitch. We as package handlers each have to load 4 or more vans and cover for package handlers that are either late or decided not to come to work. Just thinking about the workday and the package volume (that our managers regularly lie about) stresses me out.
Sorry for rambling but do you guys hate this job as much as me? Lol
