Historical Accuracy?

How historically accurate is the show? I know the Mountain Meadows Massacre really happened in Utah territory in 1857, and I know the Mormons played a central role, but the other characters? Sara, Isaac, Jim Bridger, Virgil, Jacob, the Wolf Clan? Any of them truly exist? I’m a history nerd so the accuracy matters lol.
But overall phenomenally well done show. I loved every second of it.

I don't know why but I find eBooks really hard to read and need a physical book in hand so on a whim I printed a pdf version of an Alice Coldbreath book! 😅
Does anyone else do this?
In case anyone else wants to do this, I made sure to edit the pdf to have page numbers as my pdf didn't have them and then I printed it as a booklet then folded each page and put them together with a big stapler haha 😜

So....I asked out a girl who works at my mom's job/old job, and she said yes, my mom likes her as a "decent friend" however, this girl already made a slight nod towards being interested in me to which my mom shut down immediately, because she doesn't trust her "as far as she can throw her" (her words exactly)
I'm interested in a possible relationship with her, but at the same time... I'm not, because she's....well not exactly great... Plus I don't know her too well...

I work catching fish in a settlement deep in the tunnels, Venice. It’s not the worst place to be in the apocalypse, all things considered, but it’s murky and smelly and the people here are shady as hell. Sometimes though, I meet new arrivals who are somehow stranger than the people here.
One day a fisherman friend of mine pulled in on his boat while I was on the dock nearby. I heard something flicking over and over. I look over and I see across from him a stranger wearing a cracked gas mask, breathing heavily. He was holding a lighter shaped like a bullet, and he kept flicking it on and off and staring at the flame. Sometimes he would pull out some kind of notepad and squint at it, holding the flame so close it looked like it would catch fire. My friend came up on the dock and introduced this stranger as Artyom, a gunslinger. He’d only gotten a few words in before Artyom sprinted up to him and held the lighter under his nose. My friend coughed and snorted, then swatted the lighter away as it was about to catch his mustache on fire. I commented that it would be nice to have a gunslinger around, and Artyom whipped around suddenly, holding his notepad in front of my face, for a few seconds, then putting it away. Artyom then tore off his gas mask startlingly fast, and stood there for a moment, staring at me with beady eyes and a blank expression. His face was sweaty and covered with soot and blood. I was about to continue congratulating my friend on a safe return when I smelled Artyom’s fishy hand as he held the lighter up to my eye. I turned away before he could melt my eyeball. Artyom went off to harass some others, so I stayed with my friend who needed help with his engine. I kneeled down to inspect it, and as I’m giving him some advice, I felt a slight warmth on my beanie, which quickly spread. Realizing what was happening, I cursed and tore off my beanie, throwing it into the water as it had caught fire. I then turned around and looked at Artyom, who was breathing heavily as he tried to press his lighter against my forehead. I later saw Artyom try to set fire to a few small children, and the parents chased him off.
A shopkeeper complained to me later that a customer held up the entire line as he crouched in front of her stall, staring intensely at a notepad with a lighter, and, while wearing a blood stained gas mask, struggled to read the labels on each can of fish she sold (the labels were blank). He refused to respond when she asked him to leave, and the multiple assault rifles on his back prevented anyone from intervening.
I commented that this must’ve been Artyom. She raised an eyebrow, and asked who Artyom was, and I admitted that I had no real clue, other than that he was a “gunslinger” who would be the last person I’d want handling a gun. If his firearm safety is anything like his fire safety, it’s no surprise that Artyom has no fellow soldiers to speak of.

2025.01.22 05:06 TheDragonNosredna Anyone else wish more would be done with the RGA body/series?
I really love the RGA body's sculpted top as it's smoother than the RGD's top and wish more prestige/premium models would be released besides the 3 standard options. Otherwise I'd have to get my fix from another brand (eww) or mod tf out of my current RGA to get a pseudo-premium model.

So, I've been looking videos to help learn how to pronounce ã. Most of them seem to focus on how to make nasal sounds, but I think that's not the problem because I don't have problems with other nasal sounds.
I think it's the actual vowel I have a problem with. Most of the videos say it's something like the U in "up." But, people always tell me I don't pronounce it correctly. I'll leave a link below in case anyone wants your hear me pronounce ã and ão.
I think it's supposed to be like /ɐ/ which doesn't exist in English. Are there any videos or anything that can help me learn to pronounce /ɐ/ so I can learn how to pronounce /ɐ̃/ afterwards?

I recently obtained a copy of Dragon Quest Monster Joker 3 Professional and go the English ROM to play on citra. Shortly after playing for a while, I reached a roadblock in my journey to obtain the strongest mon in the game...EVENT MONSTERS! I don't know how I could obtain any of these event or now unobtainable monsters since the game is now some 9 years old and I cannot find any direct help on how to obtain them. 2025.01.22 05:06 Sophiiiyyyy Honouring parents in an abusive household
I (21 F) just got into a huge physical fight with my father after he hit me first and my mother getting in between trying to stop it and i feel so much guilt about it. I know that the command of Exodus 20:12 is “Honor your father and mother,” period. Ephesians 6:1 says to “obey” them. But I had an emotional outburst when he hit me and my first thought was to defend myself because of anger. The fight was over him screaming at my dog for defecating on the floor (he was so ill we had to take him to the vet today). I was so mad that I told him to shut up which is what resulted in him hitting me. He broke both my necklaces trying to hit me (he’s done it twice now) and so when his glasses fell i wanted to give him a taste of his own medicine and broke his glasses. I feel very guilty about that because he does have very poor vision in one eye.
Regardless of the details of the situation , how do i go about this. I don’t want to speak to him nor apologize because he hit me and I do not stand for that. But i also acknowledge that he raised me and i shouldn’t disrespect him by telling him to shut up out of anger. I know it is sinful to not forgive but I do not want to have a relationship with him like i had before.

2025.01.22 05:06 Bubbemeyseh Help with Co2 setup
So I'd read every guide and setup I could find, and watched a handful of videos, and felt pretty confident I knew what I was doing.
I picked up this Ista Co2 regulator based on my LFS reccomendation and got it all set up, but something isn't right and it's making me nervous.
Most of the guides talk about fiest adjusting the working pressure and then adjusting the needle valve to hit your desired bubbles per second.
Problem is, I can't figure out how to adjust the working pressure. The thing I thought was the working pressure valve (circled in green) doesn't move at all. There's nothing else on the regulator that moves other than the needle valve.
When I turn it on and open the needle valve, I get a steady working pressure of around 40psi but I can't seem to adjust the needle valve as low as I need it. At the slightest bit open, it's already at 1 bubble per second. I need to get to 1 bubble every 3-4 seconds (small tank, 14" cube).
Any suggestions?

Me and 2 friends just got accepted for a 'townhouse' for rent and I'm telling my family I Live with tomorrow. I've been in talks with this landlord for 2 weeks and only toured the place 4 days ago. Me and my 2 roommates submitted their applications 3 days ago and all the background checks and numbers came up good so 3 hours ago 'landlord' messaged saying if we're still interested the place is ours. We accepted it and now the lease signing/move in date is 15 days from tomorrow when I tell them. I live with my cousin and her husband+2 kids. I never signed a lease but have been paying a tiny amount of rent (to save$). Am I breaking any Massachusetts or federal laws by only giving 15 days' notice even without a lease?? I've planned in case they get upset, ill offer to stay another week or even 15 days if they bring up some BS law I've never heard of.
Contexts if anyone cares lol:
My family I live with don't know I've viewed the place but know obliviously know I want to get out from under them.
me and 2 friends/new roommates are all 21 and lucky to have been accepted for this place.
I've lived with this part of family for 3 1/4 years since I was 18 when my mom passed.
I'm going to offer to get any projects they want done or help with anything before I go.
They've started asking me to get rid of some of my stuff to make room for other stuff. (100% understandable since it's their house but that's why I'm trying to get my own place which I'm 99% sure I've got as long as family doesn't pull some crazy law.)
Any help/advice would be apricated

Hello! I am now 2 and a half months post op and and roughly 35lbs lost since surgery and 65lbs since my highest. I had the all knowing 3 week stall where I stayed the same weight for 2 weeks but I prepared for that mentally. But know, at almost 3 months, I’m stuck in another stall and I just curious on when everyone else’s stalls were and what y’all did to break them. I have been stuck at 226 for a couple weeks now and it’s frustrating cause I feel like I can see onederland off in the distance. I’m not beating myself up over it. I know my body is going through a lot and I’m already going through clothes like no one’s business (and I’m sure going to the gym is not helping this stall at all). So if anyone knows when they had their stalls and what y’all did to break them, that would be AMAZING
