 | Just beat phantom liberty( for the second time) first did songbirds ending and killed Reed at the end, then I did Reeds ending but Alex died, I can’t tell you the amount of displeasure I had with the ending, WDYM I can’t rock that old man’s world, I’m trying ride that rust off of him, To the real reason I made this, was it CDPR’s objective to make us hate ourselves, cause Alex who just wanted to retire is killed because of our mistake or Songbird who’s journey for survival ends with her death or what is basically her enslavement, and Reed a man who’s whole life has been one fucked up mission after the next mission is tossed to the wind on a whim, it makes me sad none of these characters get a GOOD happy ending, sure they’re all alive( dependent on ending) but shells of themselves at best. 2025.01.22 06:33 Accomplished-Sun4039 One semester in and I’m already disillusioned. Does it ever get better?
So the semester has barely started and there’s already drama in the leadership department. I rushed rather late into my collegiate career, so even though I ran for positions last fall, I (reasonably) didn’t get elected, though I was appointed into a director position. Over break, I was already dealing with a lot of feelings of being late to the game and feeling like I’m falling behind my sisters, but as the spring semester got closer I finally started feeling really good about my position despite it being considered “lesser.”
Then, out of nowhere, I got the announcement of my big losing her position and her spot becoming vacant and needing to be filled immediately, and I felt so many different feelings, ranging from shock to disappointment. This was just days after another VP suddenly disaffiliated and her spot had to be filled. Hours before the announcement came out, I learned that she not only didn’t show up to the first E-board meeting of the year, but she also hadn’t been responding to any correspondences over break due to personal circumstances that she didn’t communicate. I felt disappointed and even embarrassed, but then I felt even worse for feeling this way about her because she’s my big, and we’ve become really close in a short period of time, in part due to how much I looked up to her for her ambition and drive in other areas. However, I still felt the urge to apply for the position, because it took me so little time to feel at home within the chapter and I wanted nothing more than to give back and be able to help girls in my chapter who might be struggling.
At first I was hesitant because my big held the position and I felt weird essentially stealing it from her, but then a VP randomly reached out to me telling me I should apply. I caved, thinking it would make for good leadership experience, but two days later, I learned I didn’t get the position, and lost it to another (very highly qualified) sister… who just so happens to share a major grudge with the VP who reached out to me. So now not only am I back to square one of feeling killer imposter syndrome and like I’ll never live up to my potential during undergrad in terms of leadership, IN ADDITION to worrying about my own reputation because of my big’s actions, but I am also now realizing that the VP in question didn’t reach out because she actually saw any potential in me, but because she didn’t want to have to face the sister she has drama with.
At this point, I feel like I’m only staying because I want to experience a full year with the sorority and to get a little. I want to so badly believe that it gets better, that I will find my place and I will be respected and maybe (hopefully) even find leadership positions outside the chapter. I consider myself ambitious and there’s so many ways I want to get involved in student org leadership, especially because I want to go to grad school after I graduate next spring, but I wonder if it’s even worth it if it’s going to come with so much drama.

I’d like to take my 3 month old swimming, but am worried the chlorine is going to make his eczema worse. It’s already a battle managing it. Has anybody else been in this situation and what was the outcome? Whilst I’m here, any recommendations for products to manage his eczema? We’ve been using Aveeno which does seem to help.

The payouts are obviously product of there being just a few events, so there is not much stuff to earn from money.
The payouts and general currency balance will go through many iteration over the course of EA, so I would expect there will be multiple player currency balance wipes.
Maybe I am wrong, but it is something to consider before deciding to grind like crazy.

Both my Employer 1 and Employer 2 accounts are in Fidelity (both are past employers). My employer 1 offered BrokerageLink account. Is there a way I can consolidate Employer 1 and Employer 2 401k accounts together in Fidelity? Main reason is that Employer 2 used to offer very few fund options, whereas for my Employer 1's 401k account, I have most of my money tied into VOO through BrokerageLink. I would like the same freedom with my Employer 2 account also.
