I don't know if I'm an ace or not. I've never been interested in titles/labels ect. This is something that's new to me.
I feel as time marches on, it's more or less impossible to purchase a house alone given my circumstances. Compatability and companionship is very difficult for us all to find. I sympathise with anyone that struggles.
Living in a world where sex was used as the foundations for life. Nothing has changed since growing up. Like sitting in a restaurant, as if everyone goes for the menu to see everyone ordering the same thing. I was never fascinated.
I turn away from what's trendy by nature. I once read - "as if popularity en-masse spoiled Eden, and so i chose to leave the garden".
In a town with 40,000 people I've never found anyone like myself. I have goals and a list of things I'd like to achieve. Had been in a few relationships and their lives were never about making progress. The only person who enjoyed creating goals happened to be obsessed with sex.
I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. Where one side has no compatability to be with someone and the other means life having a financial impossibility to achieve certain things.
I'm not sure where, or who, to turn to at this point. Call me sour, or perhaps bitter, but I feel angry towards society at this point. Sometimes even angry towards myself. I know in some stupid sense that I only have myself to blame for maybe "not working hard enough". But when 2 bedroom houses can cost up to a quarter of a million pounds, how is this even supposed to be achieved?
I haven't posted this for sympathy. Instead, to find answers for something. Directions? Something. I get very frustrated. These are hard times for everyone, not just for aces but for us all. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing.

In 2013 I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. My trigeminal neuralgia developed after a few years of remittance. I put up with the pain for years because I always had periods of remission until suddenly I didn't and the pain got worse. I finally started taking Tegretol (carbamazipine) in 2023. It took a couple months for it to work and then my body had a severe allergic reaction to the medication. It was something called DRESS syndrome. The TN pain came back and I was given gabapentin as an alternative. I went up to 800 mg 3x a day plus a muscle relaxer (baclofen 10mg). I am so grateful to have received excellent medical care.
Over the past year I have had ups and downs with the pain, even with all the medication. I am truly stunned that I have not felt any pain the past 2 weeks. Yes, I could be randomly be in remission, but I also started eating slightly differently and I thought I would share. This is not medical advice at all, and I have no idea if this is even the reason for my remission. I also know that my TN pain comes from my MS, so there are a lot of random factors here.
But lately I've been eating about 15 black grapes a day, 3 tablespoons of blueberries, and 3 tablespoons of walnuts, pecans, almonds, hazelnuts, and Brazil nuts. I've also had either carrot juice, POM juice, or pineapple juice. And I have tuna or salmon for lunch or dinner. I also have a spoonful of manuka honey and take 2,250mg of turmeric.
I know the thought of eating some of these foods is impossible for a lot of people with TN because I remember thinking that at my worst when all I could do was drink peanut butter smoothies, and very slowly at that. It might have something to do with all the omega 3s? Because my issue is neurological? But I felt compelled to share this because I know what it feels like to want to communicate and not be able to speak because of the pain. Or eat. I would take NyQuil to sleep and not feel anything. And take off work. I thought I would never feel relief. And now I have. And I am so grateful. And I pray that everyone may feel relief.

A Dicembre ho concluso un tirocinio di 6 mesi presso unâazienda del territorio in cui abito (M24): sostanzialmente il lavoro era full time e con un paio di progetti interessanti (tipo creare da zero una biblioteca aziendale coi documenti di Gruppo). Dopo tipo 3 mesi di tirocinio mi chiama il datore di lavoro e mi chiede se posso dare una mano al business secondario del figlio (galleria dâarte, non facente parte del gruppo di aziende), io accettai pensando fosse una cosa interessante, anche perchĂ© vengo da una formazione umanistica. Sostanzialmente dovevo portare le opere con la mia auto da punto A a punto B con un orario di lavoro non definito, senza contare il fatto che ciĂČ non rientrava assolutamente nelle specifiche di tirocinio. Il tutto finisce a dicembre, mi rinnovano il contratto (passando a determinato) con nuovi compiti, orari ben definiti ed un luogo di lavoro. Una settimana dopo il rinnovo mi manda un messaggio il figlio del capo chiedendomi di trovarci per organizzare i nuovi progetti, io onestamente non vorrei ritornare a fare il fattorino (senza nessuna garanzia tra assicurazioni e quantâaltro) quando ho giĂ firmato per un posto âstabileâ nellâazienda del padre, che posso fare per evitare la situazione?

Buses are often extremely late or goes early these days. I have to take two buses to reach my work and my commute usually should take around 45 minutes but I have to leave an hour and a half prior at least to not be late. My first bus comes late by 10 minutes my second bus goes early by two minutes and today the second bus which I had to take left early the next bus through that route was scheduled in 20 minutes it ended up being delayed by 6 minutes. And I had to stand in -19 temperature at a stop where there was no bus shelter. Eventually I had to give up and book a Lyft. Which turned out to be another mess. The driver who was 2 mins away from me decided to drive away he drove farther till he was 8 mins away. I had to cancel the ride. And I was still in the cold weather. Finally I got the bus and went home. But this is ridiculous.

Resale tickets for nosebleed seats are pushing 300+ dollars and I noticed other twitter sellers were selling their VIP tickets for around 300! So i thought wow what a steal! So I hit up this guy u/soma_1956 ( u/briearra on venmo) since he was selling three tickets, and he said he was selling them for 250 each. I noticed he wasnt following aespa on twitter (but he was following another korean group), this guy was following random accounts from India and I didnt want to stereotype so I went with it anyway. I wasnt entirely sure, so I asked if i could pay for one ticket at a time, and they replied âdo you have trust issues with meâ and âbe rest assured bestie youre getting your tickets immediately after the paymentâ. I sent the first payment, and bro claims that he cannot send one ticket at a time (he sent a fake screenshot of a chat with help.ticketmaster.com) . I ask if he could just send them all and I send the money after, even offering him a little extra to send them first, but he replies that âyou dont have to worry youre safe with me i know how hard it is to make money i will never hurt uâ I know this is so silly of me but i still had hope, i sent the remaining 500 dollars and he said that ticketmaster is asking for a TRANSFER FEE of 1000 dollars! And that the 1000 dollars is refundable once the ticket transfer is completed?? I explained how i dont have the money to do that, and since its refunded, why doesnt he just pay? He claims to not have the money either. I asked to be refunded but he claimed thatl7 since the tickets are transferring, they cannot be cancelled before the fee is paid. âU dont have to worry its refundebale lets just get this done asap so u can get the ticketsâ âyoure not getting scammed trust me please i pinky promiseâ Whatever, i carry on with my day and around 2 hours later he texts me again, and i respond 3 hours after that. He asks me to send transaction proof again so i do of course cause i still had hope that they figured it out on their own! All these things continued up until this Sunday 3 pm, and then when I see my search tab on Instagram I don't see her account and she just disabled it i am not blocked but her account is now gone. I have no way of contacting her. Idk if she's fine or not, she have strict parents(bad/abusive) so maybe they found out about her secretly using Instagram but if she cared about me enough, she would have had let me knew, idk it just feels wierd to me and yk all of those efforts just feels like they went down the drain but I can be completely fine right now and have my mental peace back if I want right now obviously I am a Kanye West fan i'd never lose myself to a girl like that but it's just that idk what should I do.

Weâve never loved our bricks and always planned to paint the brick some form of white but part of me thinks Iâm just creating a maintenance money pit. Thoughts? We are about to order new guttefacias and canât decide on what colour combo. Is there anything that would work with the current brick but still wouldnât look out of place if we had it painted? I keep landing on something like shale grey but canât find any good comparisons with our brick colour. The roof will need to be repainted soon, so not really tied to the current roof colour (couldnât even tell you what it is). We live in SEQ so something lighter is what Iâd lean towards.
