Hello! I know many might have taken the python CS course at Oakton CC. I’m taking it now and I’m not sure why my brain is overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to use Gitlab and Eclipse (exporting etc). It’s like I am getting stuck on that and not sure where to seek for help or references. If anyone took it or knows where I can find a reference/videos I would appreciate it. I couldn’t find a GroupMe or any kind of class chat.
Maybe I feel as if there’s not enough guidance on that technical part as the professor wants to have the projects from gitlab exported to Eclipse I believe & exercises?. I feel all over the place looking at the textbook and the content. Can’t seem to find it. Can’t seem to get over that it’s not even the course material (learning python) that’s getting me stuck 😅.
If I can’t post this here please give me guidance on where to post thank you. (I am taking these for admission into the masters)

Lately, I’ve been feeling like life is moving too fast—always something to do, somewhere to be, and my mind constantly racing from one thing to the next. Yesterday, I finally decided to hit pause, even if just for an hour.
I put on a soothing spa music mix, made myself a cup of tea, and just allowed myself to be. It’s incredible how something so simple can bring a sense of peace and clarity. Sometimes, we forget how important it is to slow down and truly enjoy the moment.
If you’re looking for a little escape, I can’t recommend enough taking a moment to tune in and just breathe.
What are your favorite ways to slow down and reconnect with yourself? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

To clarify- they were a reg when I was a med student and there’s only <5 year age gap. Yes I didn’t think ahead.
Met on a dating app and saw each other a couple of times, hooked up 1/2x
Been texting on and off for last few years. Obviously now due to power dynamic it’s complicated.
Been turning them down pretty clearly because of that. Not sure how to approach this.

If things go south, they can just blame "market conditions" and walk away with minimal exposure. Private companies like Stargate don't face the same strict disclosure requirements as public ones.
The timing is also telling - announcing this massive investment right after Trump won the presidency was clearly designed for maximum political impact. It fits perfectly into the narrative of bringing jobs and investment back to America. Using inflated job numbers for data centers (which typically employ relatively few people once built) while making vague promises about US technological leadership? That’s politics.
My guess? There's probably a real data center project in the works, but it's being massively oversold for publicity and political gains. The actual investment will likely be much smaller, take longer to complete, and involve different partners than what's being claimed. This announcement just is a deal structured by lawyers who wanted to generate maximum headlines while minimizing any legal risk for their clients.

2025.01.22 07:01 addictwithapen27 iMessage not showing all messages when using the search function.
I've been trying to look for messages from throughout 2024, however when I search key words, my phone only shows me a few. It shows me 1 or 2 from December 2024, and then it skips all the way to 2020. However, I am able to manually scroll through the individual chats and find the messages that way, so why can't I search for them as well? Even when it gets to 2020, it's still only showing me one or two messages. It does this even when I search words that I know there should be a lot of, like "hi" for example.
I've tried making storage. I've used 107 out of 128, so I've got plenty of free space. Still nothing. I updated my phone to ios 18.2, and nothing. Maybe there's some trick I'm unaware of. Please help.

2025.01.22 07:01 zionswoons 1st failed fet; need to make decision on endometrial testing vs another fet
hi ivf friends,
i just went through my first failed fet and i am pretty down about it. we have been very fortunate having a good result in terms of having multiple embryos, and we have several tested that are genetically normal, so very positive start during the freezing process.
after my first failed fet my doctor told me they typically look for 3 things, 1. the embryo quality, 2. the lining thickness, and 3. the process/protocol to actually transfer the embryo and all 3 things went exceptionally well but no implantation.
i have always had very painful periods and when i was younger a doctor told me i probably have endometriosis, and we have just kind of assumed it since then but i have never had a surgery on it.
my fertility doctor now, is saying we have 2 options - 1. try another transfer and 2. get a series of endometrial tests. there are 3 (EMMA, Receptivo, and ERA) and the outcomes could range from altering the time of procedure by 12 hours, to taking antibiotics for 10 days, to having to take lupron for 2 months to completely regrow my endometrial lining. we haven't recieved the quote yet but my doctor said it would be thousands of dollars.
we are trying to decide whether or not just to try again, and assume it was bad luck the first time, or to do these endometrial tests. i feel like because of my past and assumed endometriosis, something is wrong there, but i also don't want to delay the timeline 2-3 months. my doctor keeps mentioning women with endometriosis get pregnant all the time without these tests.
trying to decide what to do here and what is the smart move. we have enough embryos to take a risk but i just can't decide. if it fails a second time i will be incredibly discouraged, but i dont want to pay 2k-3k more for these tests and to probably get a tough result back with my history.
anyone have success stories with painful periods/assumed endometriosis having a 2nd fet work? or anyone with other types of stories have opinions for me? i have struggling to decide and feeling sad.
