My instructor Is leaving the company to go independent and changing his car to a automatic. Contacted many instructors yesterday who have put me on a waiting list but won't have availability for a few months. Only available instructors are a few automatic instructors which I don't know if it's worth it as the prices of a automatic car is so much more expensive than a manual which I can't afford. Only been taking lessons 2 weeks after a long gap,such a pain.

Howdy, all! I'm working towards moving to Vermont--been primarily thinking Burlington--to get out of the Midwest as I'm a left leaning queer woman and the Midwest doesn't really cut it. Hoping to move around late spring or summer later this year. Looking for any helpful resources for finding housing primarily. I don't make that much money, maybe around 30k annually so I'd probably be looking at house sharing or sublets. I also have a dog but he is an ESA and well trained.
I've moved cross country before, so I'm aware of the risk and difficulty in doing it. I'm from Ohio but I lived in Seattle for 5 years. I figure if I can make the cost of living work there, I can make it work almost anywhere.
Any resources that also focus on LGBT resources are also greatly appreciated, healthcare etc. Thank you all!

The Christmas holidays past through and the only node I could see went dark. I can't know if they moved their setup to private channels or what. If I assume they just turned all of it off, is there a way other than wandering around with this thing in my pocket to determine if my node is working properly? If they did not turn off and are still transmitting, is there a setting that lets me see that is happening? Is there a message format that I can send that encourages some sort of acknowledgement from another node? Is there a clue hidden in the device metrics that lets you know you are still transmitting? Does the firmware "blind send" without even knowing there is a transmitter attached?

so! for starters in october 2023, i had mpfl reconstruction on my right kneecap/knee. i had my ligament replaced by one in my thigh. for the past year or so, every time i've kneeled for a small amount time, ive ended up with a decently sized bruise, slight swelling and insanely tender spots. i'm not known to have any clotting issues, vitamin deficiencies, etc. i just want to know if anyone else has dealt with this 🥲 (my work requires cleaning where i have to be on my knees for a small amount of time) and if anyone knows WHY this happens. my knee also significantly hurts more in the cold, to the point i have to wear athletic tape too.

I submitted an application to do Friends with PowerPoints for my friend... And we got picked! (You present your friend in a favorable/humorous light with the end goal of getting them a date)
Our idea is to theme it around DnD. My title slide says: "The Quest to Find the Perfect Partner for [Friend's Name]".
I compiled a list of questions for them to answer and now have a wealth of information with which to build an amazing slideshow.
I need ideas for what important information to include and how to format it in a captivating way that's on theme. Keeping in mind I have a maximum of 5 minutes to present.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm still learning a lot about automobiles, however I have a 2016 Q50 3.7 that has a problem. It made a clucking noise when I changed gears, so I took it to a nearby shop to have it checked out, and they advised me to replace the valve assembly control and the speed sensor.Does that sound correct?
