Today, the military wing of Hamas released a video showing them firing rockets on January 6, 2024, toward Jerusalem from Beit Hanoun. In the video, you can clearly see that Hamas fighters dress as civilians and do not wear uniforms, unlike in the videos of hostages release. Additionally, the rockets are visibly launched from civilian houses. This video effectively incriminates Hamas and supports Israel's claims about the legitimacy of targeting civilian infrastructure.

Hamas using civilians as shields is often debated, with many pro-Palestinians claiming that Hamas does not engage in this behavior. However, here you can clearly see that Hamas does not wear uniforms, making it impossible for the IDF to distinguish between civilians and Hamas fighters, which leads to civilian casualties. Furthermore, when Hamas reports casualties, they count these fighters as civilians because they were not wearing uniforms, inflating the civilian death toll in their reports.
If Hamas were organized as a military, like the IDF, this war would likely have ended a year ago. However, this distinction did not prevent Hamas from entering civilian areas during the attacks on October 7th.
Hamas clearly uses civilian infrastructure to launch rockets, which makes these locations legitimate targets. Many houses are used for military purposes, and to locate and destroy them, the IDF must enter civilian neighborhoods, evacuate the residents, and then destroy the identified infrastructure. This process results in significant destruction of civilian areas.
This evidence highlights Hamas's responsibility for the condition of the Gaza Strip and the complexity of warfare in Gaza, which inevitably leads to errors. There are many similar videos, and when I have the time and energy, I will bring more examples.

Our connection began on November 16, 2024. I playfully teased him as "dumb," but beneath that façade, I discovered a kindred spirit. However, after joining his badminton games, we grew closer. I admired his maturity, future-focused mindset and inspiring stories. Spending time together blossomed my feelings, but I tried hiding them. Unfortunately, my honesty got the better of me, and I confessed. We opened up to each other on Nov 14, 2024. After I spilled my feelings, he confessed his too! He'd been hiding them, remembering I'd said I'm hard to win over. Glad we finally connected!
He sees me in a way I don't always see myself - as silly, adorable, talented and skillful. Despite my clumsiness and struggles with memory loss, he believes in me. We share many similarities, and when he introduced me to his parents, they sensed something special. His parents intuitively knew I'm more than just a friend. To me, he's the catalyst for my goals and aspirations. I'm grateful for his presence in my life and hope our journey together continues.
And I realized that I'm "Another man's trash is another man's treasure." But he won't define me as a trash he just saw from the street, he saw something valuable to me and more than that too! Yes, he's my inspiring sparrow.

Hi all, I wasn't sure which community would be best to post my problems to, but I think this is the closest. So, I'm kinda wondering if I'm an AH here, but more so wondering how to handle this situation. I'm sorry that this is probably such a stupid and first world problem to ask advice on. My bf (29 M) and I (27 F) have been living together for a couple of years now. It started out as an accident as the army fucked him over and sent him back home after making him break his lease. It ended up being a happy accident in a way for both of us, as we're both quite happy living together- and we're both 'I can do it on my own and don't need any help'type pf people. Now, we have split up some responsibilities- most of which means he cooks, I clean. He has always loved cooking and I am very particular on how well things are cleaned. For a while it seemed to be the most natural path. However, I have an extremely low spice tolerance due to some olfactory system issues (like mild sauce at taco bell is tops). And he has always loved spicy food. He has always tried to add apice at the end if possoble or make me a non spicy version of the dish. However, for the past few months, it seems like he has not cared about making dishes to my tolerance. Additionally, as we both work nights (me about twice as many as him), he's been cooking significantly less. BUT, I haven't been cleaning less. There's still the same amount of laundry, dust, dog fur, grime, and still plenty of dishes to do. I have pointed out to him that most dishes are significantly spicier than i can handle (even though he's made many of these dishes before for me), and short of him trying to get me to eat less as a weight loss ploy (highly doubt that's what hes doing lol) I just dont know why every dish is spicy. So i guess my question is 1) what do I do about the whole situation here Or 2) AITA for even being upset since my spice tolerance is wayyyyy below average.

So I know that, like English, Arabic doesn’t have an explicit future tense conjugation. In my understanding there are three ways to express the future in Classical Arabic, of which I have a couple questions:
One uses the auxiliary verb سوف in front of a present tense verb, right? So to say “I will do” you would say سوف أفعل.
Then there’s another way, using the prefix سـ and is used in the Quran in places like سيقولون لله “They will say “To Allah”” My question is how does this differ to سوف? Do they both mean the exact same thing or do each of them represent a different kind of future?
Then another way is by using the past tense? It’s used in the Quran in verses like ما أغنى عنه ما له “His worldly gains won’t benefit him.” Firstly, how does this work? How do you differentiate between the past and the future then? Just context?
Also, how does this expression differ from سوف and سـ in meaning? What type of future does this express?
