What is most shocking about this poll is how so many self-identified Democrats agree with some of Trump's policies.
55% of Americans support mass deportation of millions of illegal immigrants.
87% of Americans support mass deportations of illegal immigrants with a criminal record - something Kamala Harris did not express support for her during her campaign.
71% of Americans oppose giving puberty blockers and hormones to children and teens under the age of 18.
More than 75% of Americans oppose trans women in women's ⚽️ - something that the vast majority of Democrats in Congress recently voted in support of.
A common argument from Democrats is "voters like left-wing policies, but they don't like Democrat politicians". While that may be true for some policies related to the economy and healthcare, immigration and trans rights have swung in the opposite direction.
The poll results suggest that there are millions of Democrats and independents who voted for Kamala despite strong disagreement with Dem policies in these areas. The reason Trump received less than 50% of the popular vote is likely due to his immense personal character flaws, not because voters didn't like the policies he ran on.
If Democrats do not change course on immigration and trans rights, will they be able to win back the voters they have lost, including Hispanic voters, Asian voters and young males?

I live in Hamburg and our city got bombed in operation gomorrha in 1943, which ignited a huge firestorm in the city. We lost a lot of buildings, but there where a lot which still had their walls and beams.
When I compare it to LA, there seems to be nothing in the paisedes. Not even the walls and only like 2 beams or so.
So how did the fire get so hot that it could burn down the walls of the multimillion dollar homes?

Hey there! I'm here to ask what would be the appropriate wardrobe to pack and wear in Japan during March.
We will be staying for 15 days in Tokyo, with maybe some day trips to Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and therelike.
I was planing on mostly packing plain t-shirts (black and white) and maybe 2-3 pants, as we will have a washing machine in our accomodation, and of course all other essentials (undergarments, socks etc.).
I'm a notorious over-packer. I dont want to be for this trip tho. What is the weather like there at this time? Should I bring something for entering special places? Would love some tips!

My close friend had bedbugs at her apt. She called and told her landlord multiple times to get it handled and they said they were handling it to have the exterminators show up and say they won’t show up again if no one is ever there to answer. Eventually she had to stay home from work to let the exterminators into her apt to handle it but without any communication about any of that from her landlord and apparently maintenance was supposed to let the exterminators in but never did.
The exterminators said they never checked any other apt for bed bugs and said the landlord was not doing things right (but this is also second hand from my memory)
Now the landlord is charging her $600 for the bedbug treatment and says she needs to pay it immediately or else. They said it is her fault the bedbugs got there bc other appts did not have them. Is this right? Does she have options here?

I personally think Avon is the best character in the show (tough one between him and Omar) as he followed the street rules was there for his homies at all times and didn’t get caught up in the ‘business’ part of it. Even though cutty bailed out being a soldier for barks dale crew he still gave him 15 grand (more than he asked for) which speaks volume about his loyalty. Just didn’t like the marlo arc, for me the show ended after season 2
