2025.01.22 09:53 bexydee First time and looking best advice on a taper.
I'm a bit scard based on some of the posts in this sub, so trying to provide as much info as I can for the best advice.
For just on 3 months, I've been taking clonazepam. I take every night around 800pm, to help me unwind and relax and help me get to sleep.
Initially, I would take 0.5mg and it would get me to the nice relaxed 'ok time for bed' stage and I would have amazing sleeps.
Then gaining rollerence, after a couple weeks, I would need 1mg to get to that same stage, then a few more weeks, up to 1.5mg, then 2mg... Yesterday, I've had to increase it to 2.5mg and thinking "ok let's stop before this gets out of hand.
So wanting to stop and have some questions:
What would be the best way to taper down?
Can other benzos be used to taper clonazepam, as I have lorazepam (Ativan) and diazepam (Valium) at my disposal.
Is 3 months at the doeses I have been on likely to have many sever effect?
I also have Lyrica (25mg) at my disposal (from a previous nerve injury not related) as I'm am scared of this whole possible experience I'm about to (potential) go through.

I currently have the flu and doctors said itâs cause pharyngitis But Iâve been having such a sore throat swallowing and Iâve just looked in my mouth and either side of my uvula I have a few white patches itâs on the more red parts but at the moment itâs only either side of the uvula not on my tonsils

What are the requirements to be able to port an application so that it can run directly within termux native, without proot or chroot ?
Assuming I had the source code of an app meant to run on Ubuntu or Debian, what would I need to get it running on termux, and what would be the limitations ?
Ps: I don't mind wall of texts đ
. I think my question is similar to asking what's the difference between developing an app on conventional linux VS Termux/Android. (I am currently re-reading the termux docs from a dev view point but would love getting some insights before asking more specific questions)

Hello! Iâm almost 25 and on central US time (CST). However, my sleep schedule is all over the place so Iâm available mostly at night. Daytime may be spotty. Donât feel pressured to give specific details about yourself, however I do require that youâre 18+ for any roleplays with me. (21+ preferred but not essential) Let me preface this by saying I am not a professional novelist, so I donât expect perfection from you. While I am new to the Reddit scene, I am not new to roleplaying. I have been doing this for roughly 10 years. Iâm chill for the most part. If I like our ideas, Iâll get pretty excited and ready to go. I prefer a backstory to your character, though Iâd itâs a premade scenario only a little is required. You can leave bits out or hint at them if you donât want to say them outright. I do not expect immediate romance as sometimes that ruins the sweet build up. I can play as male or female. I don't mind what you are in real life, but I'll only roleplay with you if you play male. Iâd prefer a partner thatâs relatively active! Multiple responses per day preferred but if you get busy, a couple of days is okay as long as Iâm aware that Iâm not getting ghosted. I enjoy rapid firing!
⥠Ęâ . Current Interest/Scenario Ideas ⥠Ęâ . I have a male and female OC for this fantasy scenario. They have the same personality, so just gender-swapped. They have many abilities and are very strong, but not invincible. I have a sheet with the details laid out, including weaknesses!
In their world, dragons and shifters alike are endangered. They have been hunted to near extinction for fear of their power. At least one of each element (Water, Fire, Air, Earth) needs to exist at a given time or the balance of nature is easily tipped. Monarchies generally donât care and only wish to rule with a hardened fist. My characterâs nest was hunted and slaughtered, save for their one lone egg that was hidden to untrained eyes.
Scenario 1: Your character finds the egg and, with time, uses them for either good or evil. Iâd prefer heavier themes to this scenario. You can play as a tyrant king that can subjugate them with magic and either imprison them, make them a servant, or use them for military domination.
Scenario 2: A wandering mage that hopes for world domination or has a score to settle with a specific kingdom.
Scenario 3: With a lighter theme, your character can be a child that randomly finds the egg and decides to raise the animal within.
Scenario 4: They hatch on their own and, overtime, learns the fate of their race and despised others because of it. They would be much less friendly, more apprehensive and not quick to trust. Theyâd be on the darker side of morals, killing on a whim or whoever they deem the most problematic. As a dragon, they naturally enjoy riches and marine life. You can also play ideas listed from above, only not raising her so theyâre less complacent with whatâs happening.
Other ideas welcome! Heavy or darker themes get priority! Donât be shy!

- Third person (I am uncomfortable with my character being referred to as âyouâ.)
- Proper grammaspelling to the best of your ability. (I get typos sometimes but consistently misspelling words is obnoxious. Also, no shortenings like âidk, wtf, etc.)
- At least one paragraph depending on the scene. (I have worked my way up to two, but if it's just dialogue Iâm okay with shorter. I donât expect a novel every time, so please donât expect the same. One liners are unacceptable.)
- Please have some of your own ideas in mind. I dislike setting up a roleplay entirely by myself. It feels boring and draining. Please contribute in some way! Whether it be your character, the setting, or a rough idea of a plot you want to try!
- If you get busy, please let me know. Getting ghosted is mega annoying. Iâm pretty understanding if you give me a timeframe and stick to it. Whether itâs a few hours, a couple of days, or even a week, if you donât let me know then Iâll end up deleting it to clear up space.
- I prefer references to visualize who Iâm roleplaying with or weapons/magic/creatures etc. Absolutely do not use a real personâs face for this. I normally use artworks I find or anime style characters.
- I mostly focus on the action/drama. This means my roleplays are not primarily smut/dirty. Iâm not saying it isnât allowed, just not the full highlights. Iâm okay with a 70:30 or 60:40 ratio.
- Regarding smut, we can discuss K and L if we wish. If it doesnât fit the characters, I most likely wonât do it.
- All characters involved in smut absolutely must be 18+!!
- Absolutely do not control my character. Side characters are debatable but certainly not my OC.
- If either of us becomes disinterested, just say so! We can either work on a solution or mutually abandon the roleplay.
- As I am new to Reddit, I would prefer to roleplay on a discord server. Itâs much more organized and easiest to maneuver for me. If weâre both interested, we can share our usernames and move there.

So I am not opened to the new rules that Bambu wants implemented. I won't be updating my printers firmware for as long as possible. Mainly because I don't wanna be caught in a possible future subscription/ HP situation/ paywall situation...
Sadly I really liked the handy app and the Bambu studio app functionalities. It was part of my workflow. When I bought my p1s none of this authorization bs was part of the deal. I was sold one product and now they want to change it...
What alternatives are there left for those who don't want to update their machines?
I've seen a lot of people saying SD card will be fine. But I'd rather keep things as they were if possible at all with a workaround or something...
I assume we'll be able to use Bambu studio and handy app as before for some time but probably not long enough. What are you guys planning on doing after?
