Buenas. Luego de algunos intercambios esta semana donde alguien sube una rutina que no tiene ni press de banca y sentadilla y le mandan a sacar ejercicios para poner esos porque son "los basicos"... etc... me da ganas de hablar de esto.
Lo que necesitamos es sobrecarga progresiva (aumento de kg con el tiempo en un rango de hipertrofia) en ciertos patrones de movimiento. Por ejemplo, para empuje, necesitamos al menos un ejercicio compuesto (que use varias articulaciones y mueva mucho peso) pero no tiene por qué ser el press de banca. Puede ser fondos en barra por ejemplo, o puede ser press inclinado, o el que la persona prefiera.
Mismo con la sentadilla libre. Necesitamos al menos un ejercicio compuesto y pesado de ese patrón de movimiento, pero si la persona no disfruta la sentadilla o si una lesion no se lo permite etc, puede tranquilamente usar otro ejercicio de ese patrón como puede ser sentadillas en maquina Hack, maquina press, sentadilla en maquina Smith, etc.
Mientras haya sobrecarga progresiva, constancia en el tiempo, da igual.
Si es cierto que hacer sentadilla libre te va a fortalecer tambien otras partes del cuerpo, pero si por alguna razon no te gusta o no queres hacerla, si tenes en cuenta de agregar algun otro ejercicio para fortalecer el core, no hay problema. Tambien tal vez reemplazarla por un ejercicio que tenga menos carga axial y fatiga del sistema nervioso central te haga ganar por otro lado, ya que te vas a recuperar un poco mas rapido para seguir evolucionando.
En definitiva, que cada uno pruebe y elija lo que se ajuste mejor a sus necesidades. No creo que esté bien que le digan a alguien que si o si debe incluir X ejercicio de lo contrario no entrena de forma optima.

Good morning all, I’m going to open my island up again for everyone if they want to come for a take a fruit-give a fruit action. I have moved all the fruit up near my house, just to the west of the Plaza, you’ll see all the fruit on the ground, but you YES you can also pick anything off the trees. Also, feel free to fish, take fossils, or whatever. Please don’t go in my house, it’s a mess and I use all the fruit in there to plant new trees later. Also, we have coconut and peach trees growing to the south all along the beach, the peach is native, everything else is a mix of the other fruits, but the market has everything right now, along with various pumpkins, carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes.
I will update this post when I close down, but I’m not going anywhere today, but I might be on the phone with work if you say, “HI” and I don’t reply. Sorry :)

So, went to DL for the first time last year. Got unspeakably ill to the point I needed 5 days bed rest before the 3 hour train journey home from my girlfriend's house back home. When I got back, bags were dumped and boots forgotten in the shed. I cleared out the bags the following weekend but just left the boots.
Decided to give my boots a clean a couple of weeks ago. The mud refused to budge properly, even with hot water and a wire brush. About two hours later, I got ill again. Same symptoms. Abandoned the boots back in the shed as a cursed object. A T-virus hidden away. A totem of disease Nurgle would be envious of.
Anyway, decided a second attempt this morning. Straight from the shed to the washing machine. Hand washing and disinfectant as if I was carrying raw novichok.
After a 30 minute cycle, still some mud remains. I currently don't feel anything but only time will tell. I have spoken to a lot of people who went last year who got biblically ill. Would've been fascinating for a scientist to do a check into what was in the mud. That is probably why we've got 28 Years Later releasing this year, reinfection and Donnington is the starting point.
If I don't post again, I have succumbed, can you all do me a favour? Steer clear of those bloody Yorkshire puddings wraps.
