I tried the button test and figured I'd hesitate quite a bit. As much as being a girl interests me, going through with it scares me, at least all at once. From a logistical standpoint, instantly turning into a cis woman would be a hassle, what with all the shopping, clothing re-fitting, and paperwork I'd have to do. And I'd be way too scared to talk to my parents about it because the last thing I want is to give them another reason to think I'm weird.
But something kept coming up to me. If, instead, I was presented with a switch that could let me become a girl whenever I wanted and then back into a boy whenever I wanted, I'd probably switch it on in a heartbeat.
Heck, I'd make it part of my lifestyle. Maybe I'd flip a coin each morning to decide which gender I'd be for that day, or I'd go with whatever I felt. If I'm feeling scared about something, I'd switch to male for some extra machismo. Or if I feel like crying, I'd switch to female to look less ridiculous.
Or, maybe I'd use it as an excuse to wear girl's clothes to parties. The variety of outfits women get has always made me insanely jealous.

Hey everyone I could get my hands on a Fujitsu Esprimo Q556/2 with a i5 6400T installed.
Now I want to update the CPU but the only thing I could found was the datasheet from Fujitsu.
There are some CPUs writing in the datasheet. Does it mean that only those are supported? I'm a bit confused because it a 1151 Socket what should mean that also other CPUs has to work, right?

Hey guys, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this stock right now. The price has been consistently dropping for a week since CES 2025 (ATH was around $4). I decided to take a position in this stock, thinking it would trading between $1.5 and $2.2, but I was wrong. 😥
Today, the price seems to be dropping below $0.99, and now I have to decide whether to cut loss or hold through the pain. Do you have any advice before my brain convinces me to buy the dip to lower my average? Or do stupid stuff.

2025.01.22 10:43 MaridKing [The Remarried Empress] Best OI I've ever read?
I just binged this OI from 6 PM to 8 A, followed by another 6 hours the next day (after work T_T). Absolutely could not put it down in a way I haven't felt in years. I saw it got mixed reception here, so I wanted to give my 2 cents.
First, this might be the best FL in OI. Navier has the most incredible mix of backbone, restraint, compassion, wits, and iron will I've ever seen. The title of empress is perfect. She endures insult after insult without breaking, overreacting, or allowing her dignity to be trodden on. She keeps the big picture in mind, and is as fair as you can possibly ask to everyone. It's going to be really, REALLY hard to go back to FLs who run away and cry at an unkind word.
Speaking of which,
This villainess might have the best character development in OI. I now see every white lotus as a cheap knockoff that completely missed the point. She isn't a monster pretending to be innocent. She IS innocent-at the start. But fear, insecurity, a life of hardship and trauma, ignorance, immaturity, and weakness slowly corrupt her. That's a long list, but they're also flaws everyone can relate to. You hate what she's doing and what she becomes, yet you can understand why she went down this path. It's honestly heartbreaking, and one of the most human character's I've read.
MEGA SPOILERS: I cried so hard at her death. In the end, she just desperately wanted to be happy. But she wasn't wise or strong enough to make it happen. At the moment this vile, putrid person finally gets everything she so richly deserves, the tragedy still rocked me. Incredible writing.
Those two are the main draw. Some additional comments; The world building and court drama were well done, and the ML is a winner. There are some sour spots, like some plot contrivances that are frankly silly, and the male villain being FAR less relatable than his mistress (like really dude stop trolling). For me these flaws are noticeable, but heavily outweighed.
This OI is a thicc one with 200 chapters on webtoons, but for me it was absolutely worth every page. IMO, give it a shot.

Im wondering if there are any legal grounds I could use to refuse to pay Thames water? My reasons for not wanting to pay:
From OFWAT report - Failed to ensure that discharges of untreated wastewater from storm overflows occur only in exceptional circumstances which has resulted in harm to the environment and their customers. - Shown a strong correlation between high spill levels and operational issues at wastewater treatment sites which points to these companies not having properly operated and maintained their wastewater treatment works. - Failed to upgrade assets, where necessary, to ensure they meet the changing needs of the local area they serve. - Been slow to understand the scope of their obligations relating to limiting pollution from storm overflows and failed to ensure that they had in place the necessary information, processes and oversight to enable them to properly comply with those requirements.
In addition to ripping off their customers and actively trying to get OFWAT to allow them to increase their customer bills by 40%. Whilst heavily funding their own bonuses - the shareholders have with held £500million of equity investment in 2024 as conditions for the company turnaround were not met.
I just don’t think it’s fair - destroying the environment, lining their own pockets, nonexistent care for customer needs/interests. It’s morally corrupt.
My overall question is do any of these things mean I have any legal grounds to refuse / with hold payment? Thank you if you read this! And thanks in advance for any input!
