I realized the other day that I still have a single ticket stub from a movie I saw 10 years ago. It wasn’t even a particularly memorable movie, but I went with a group of friends, and for some reason, I just kept it. Now, every time I find it, it brings me back to that night like it happened yesterday. Does anyone else have something totally random that you kept, not because it’s valuable, but just because it holds a weird little memory? I can’t be the only one!

I heard that there was a application/tool which handles alot of the shutdown, especially around stopjobs, forcefully killing applications properly after awhile, whats the name of this application? to make shutdowns faster and more seamless. Because I have a issue with long stop-jobs, and I don't know how to modify settings and such to make it shutdown my system faster, without simply holding down my power button for a minute. There is a tool I heard that does a graceful shutdown while being relatively quick. (I use Nixos, KDE)

2025.01.22 11:40 Additional_Lion_1670 Would it be out of line to ask for an x-ray to check if a foreign object is still inside me, even if it seems a bit overly cautious?
When I was about 3 years old I swallowed a 50p pence. My parents initially didn't believe me and thought it must've been a much smaller coin, but after a long call to the non emergency line my mum drove me to the hospital to check. I had an x-ray and low and behold, right in the middle there was the outline of a 50p coin. The doctors found it a little funny and said that so long as I had no kind of pain or discomfort, the coin should make its way out naturally, the way most things you swallow do.
I never had any kind of follow up issues as a child but to this day I am 100% sure I never pooped that coin out. I am fairly certain I'd notice a large, 7 sided metal coin coming out of my butt.
I remembered it the other day and was wondering if I could ask for an x-ray to check if it's still in there. I just mentioned it to my partner and he looked it up on his phone and thinks I should get it checked out. He said the coin could've had nickel in it and could've leeched into my body, or that it could be stuck somewhere. I have had stomach issues since I was 16 and only just now thought that maybe it's because I've got a coin lodged in my guts.
What can I do about this? Do I need to get it checked out?

Hi so im planning beforehand to pur in my preferences soon, And im so confused. So when u input ur preferences is it for like everyweek of the semester?? Or every single week for the sen you have to manually input. Because I have Activity 1 on a Monday At 10:30, but then Activity 2 is on a Monday also but at 3pm. So how does that work on the preference?..Do i just put activity one at 10:30 week one then week two activity two and so on???
