I dont think the streamers understand that some of us dont have the time too be playing all day and all night and locking high tier ammo and armour has already made it more challenging all be it in a good way but challenging none the less, for lower hour per wipe players to be able to contend with the people you see mid/late wipe in full lvl 5. if they remove flea BSG need to bring ammo back to traders rather than barters and crafts.

2025.01.22 11:35 redlynx99 CPU purchase - did I make the right decision?
Hi all
I’ve been part way through building my PC for a couple of months now just waiting to buy CPU and GPU because of current stock and releases.
Just 10 minutes ago I went on to Amazon UK and saw that 9800X3D was (maybe still is?) available for £499.99 and 7800X3D for £449.99
I sat and stared at it for quite some time in decision paralysis (happens a lot) but eventually pulled the trigger on the 9800X3D. Is this super overkill?, have I made the wrong choice? Will it likely drop in price much?
Context: I play games at 1440p but nothing crazy demanding really, also planning to get either a 7900XT or see if I can get a 5070TI when it releases, I was waiting to see about AMD 9070XT but that’s too long away. I may dabble in some productivity bits but am by no means a big user of this. I think overall I’ve been waiting to upgrade for a while and upgrading from i5 4690K and GTX 970 haha
Anyone else in a similar boat or have any thoughts? I’m trying to stop myself overthinking and refunding it out of indecision haha

Hello, I have never had issues with growing my hair but the last few years it has been really hard. I do bleach my hair twice a year and trim it. I use a mask every time and blowout my hair but never iron my hair. I have to wash my hair 3 times per week as my scal is extremely oily. What do you suggest to grow my hair? At the moment it grows a couple of cm but then I have to trim it so I'm always stuck at the same time. Should I stop bleaching it? However I have some whites so I would need to dye it in order to cover.

I moved to London at the end of 2023 and met 2 guys on the Bumble friends app who were in similar positions.
We went out for pints and I got on with one very well, the other less so. The one I got on better with has now moved out of London.
I've been out a couple of times since with just the one I got on less with and it's been a real chore.
We both have an interest in golf, but that's where it ends. How he sees the world is so different to me. He's obviously very wealthy and talks at length about this. I know so much about his life, but he never asks me any questions back. He also a "foodie" and again talks constantly about this, despite the fact I've told him I have no interest in fine dining.
We haven't discussed politics but it's evident which way he swings and it's the opposite to me.
He's not necessarily a bad person, I just don't want to hang out with him. I feel bad that I probably have some resentment to him for being wealthy as I'm not, but I've met wealthy people before who don't even mention the fact. He's messaged me about doing something soon. How should I approach it?

Out of the game since 18 (now 24). I am surely rusty as all hell, so don’t want to stress myself too hard with the level, but I an super keen to play. Looking for something competitive but not too talented haha. I’ve some height, decent strength, and used to have a (allow me to indulge) gorgeous right for kick. Who knows what’s left of it, but nevertheless, I am really wanting to get back into it.
Any suggestions? How does it all work here? I am a country boy originally, so I have no idea how the leagues work here amateur nor semi-pro. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Okay so I’m in high school and at lunch I sit at a table with 7 other people and I would say I’m “friends” with 3 of them and the other 4 are just mutuals yknow. Last week I found out there is a group chat I’m not in with at least 4 people out of that table that I know of..one of the people had a birthday party the week before that I wasn’t invited to but all of those people were, so I’m guessing it’s because of that. It bothers me but I brush it off even though this person is supposed to be my “friend” and I’m not entitled to an invite, I know that!. Anyway fast forward to yesterday I find out in class two of the people from that table were at the movies and a store yesterday..okay cool…but then I find out at lunch that all four of them went to the movies,a store, and a trampoline park. (This is what I’m guessing because it sounded like they were all there and I didn’t ask any questions) 2 people were gone from the table and here I am 1 person out of 5 finding out these 4 had such a good time without me..and I’m trying to think of many different reasons as to why I wasn’t invited. It really hurts my feelings tbh.. and I am on the quieter side, I talk sometimes but I feel like I get ignored a lot so that could be why but what I don’t understand is how 3 people who are supposed to be my friends can just leave me out like that and it doesn’t have to be a secret but why sit there in front of me, the odd one out apparently and brag about what wonderful time you had..🫠 It actually makes me feel like shit and I cannot stop thinking about it. I have no one else to talk to so that’s why I’m putting my situation online. (LMK if anything is confusing!) Also As I said I’m quiet and kinda shy so obviously I don’t really have any other friends. I can name 1 or 2 outside of that group that I don’t have lunch with so if I were to stop hanging around them I would literally have no one else.

I’ve seen many theories on who she is, but haven’t read anyone mention this yet, so here goes:
I believe Harmony Corbel is Eagan descendent, and wants to take what she believes is rightfully hers. She is loyal to Kier Eagan, not Lumon, and my best guess is that she is trying to either prove her lineage, or to usurp the throne.
The most obvious evidence is her mother’s breathing tube (which was confirmed by the set designer). The DOB is another clue, but the biggest clue is this: it’s showcased as par of the Kier Shrine. Kier shrine is filled with everything Kier, all except for her school diploma, her photos, and her mother’s breathing tube. I believe the breathing tube is featured there because it IS and Eagan object; because Charlotte is a child of Eagan.
We also see that she was born in 1944, which would mean Charlotte Corbel was born after Kier’s death, during either Baird or Gerhardt’s time. She could be a child out of wedlock (bastard) or disowned, eventually marrying and gaining a new last name.
This would also explain why Harmony Corbel was holding on to her mother’s tube bellowing and crying right after her firing, since she feels a grave injustice has occurred. She could’ve carried that sense of hurt, betrayal, anger, etc since she was a child. She could’ve worked for Lumon in order to achieve her goal of regaining her name, or to right the wrongs of the past, to re-honor her mother’s name, etc.
Since we know that her obsession with oMark and his family was not on company orders and was her rogue initiative, I wonder how this ties up to the theory as well.
Curious as to what you think, and if there are any other evidence to this as well.

All night for the last 2 nights the power has been shutting off for a few seconds then coming right back on. It's happened at least 10 times throughout last night & it's driving me nuts cause my lights in my room turn on every time the power comes back. Located near Parkland High School, far west Allentown. Anybody else having this issue?
Not sure if it's PPL or the wiring in my house or something. Never seen this with any other severe cold. We did just have solar panels installed but we use PPL when the sun isn't out as there are no storage batteries for power with our panels. Just worried if we lose power for longer & can't heat our home.

2025.01.22 11:34 Wolf_Nose Is there a correlation between serving open stance or getting the feet together, and having a goofy/regular stance in board sports? (e.g. skate, surf, snowboard)
I've seen quite a few coaches in YT videos talking about the dominant foot (the one you use more to jump or stuff like that) as a determinator to get the feet together when serving or having an open stance, as to aid the legs compression and extension. So if you have a right dominant foot and are right handed, you should probably get the feet together in the serve motion.
And I believe something similar happens in board sports when choosing which feet to put on the front and the back of the board when surfing or skating. Probably the same dominant foot would go on the back of the board.
Personally I just go with what feels more natural and since I was a teenager I've always served with an open stance and I'm a goofy when surfing/skating, without giving it much thought. But now that I think about it, probably the same dominant foot principle applies, at least in my case.
What's the situation with other tennis players that also surf, skate or do snowboard? Does this theory makes sense to you?

The formation is fully taught in english so am I correct to assume the interview will be conducted in english? Is there anywhere where I can know what the scientific questions are related to?
