How to fast when all I think about is food?
All I think about is eating and my next meal. It’s really the #1 thing that motivates me to get out of bed everyday.
I want to make some significant changes this year. I gained a significant amount of weight during the pandemic and I have not been able to lose it. I’m also in a rough spot after losing my job and I’m currently on EI. Trying to save money and could definitely save it by not overeating all the time. I’m tired of over consuming food and feeling compelled to eat whether I’m hungry or not. How do I ignore the constant food noise?

I allowed myself since I left a tooooxic toxic job! I had a lot of major health changes. So I can't really track my diet and probiotics influence on my microbiome. (flu, 1 more diagnosis, seasonal stuff, 3 major stress events I had little control over) I am thinking, since I have had too many variables present... ....I should just sit back, save some money up and then take the test in Summer. But maybe it still makes sense to do a test in, say, March, to see if there are any percentage changes for good bacteria? I have been feeding kimchi and fibers to it! It better grow! It's funny because when you're in Gold, you can just relax and wait to rank up. Then in Platinum 3, especially, you have to be more aggressive—at least 80% of the time. But now in Diamond 1-2, the more relaxed you are, the more consistent your MMR will be. So, for those in Platinum 2-3, try to play a bit more aggressively, unless your teammate is super active. Just a tip!

2025.01.22 11:47 Staragox The "geniuses" at Better Xcloud do NOT tell you how to RUN it?
Some times thing amaze me, having worked professionally in the computer field in the past. How they will leave out multiple steps when trying to run a piece of software or install it. In this case, they do NOT even tell you how to START it once you install it.
I installed Tampermonkey then installed the script in Chrome, but NO WHERE on the Better Xcloud website do they tell you HOW TO RUN IT!
The ONLY instructions on the Better Xcloud website is how to quote "install it", they no where tell you how to start / run it.
Anyone know how to start / run the script once its installed in Chrome?

The spam like reactions by the pro Hamas supporters in the comments section are amusing and again supports the perception most pro palestinians are terrorist supporters.
One comment stated it's the Muslim custom to be courteous to their guest had me laughing.
You will find this in social media where anything anti Hamas will get this automatic spam like reactions in the comments section.
Over the last 15 months, it has become increasingly clear either there is a very established social media propaganda network whose aim is to keep repeating lies and propaganda.
I remembered those Facebook feeds with cartoons showing a completely spotless Palestinian child amongst rubble. I haven't seen them around last few months but I think this is probably because of the comments sectionickong those ridiculous cartoons. They stopped doing it as more and more people made fun of it.
From my own personal perspective, I feel like people are beginning to see through all these over the top propaganda. My sister who was much more pro Palestine is more nuanced and balanced. She condemns Hamas unequivocally now and understands a lot of what understand about the war is propaganda.
Continue to educate your friends a d families about the war. Ask them to read widely and warn them about propaganda History is on Israel's side. That is not to say Israel has been perfect in their behaviour but between israel and Hamas, anyone who supports Hamas supports rapists and murderers.

I 26(F) and my now ex 31(M) were dating for 1 year and 4months and lived together. He unfortunately lost his father 6 months ago and he’s been different since. He’s cold at home but will be upbeat and smiley whenever we’re in public. And he got super close to this girl he’d always told me is his cousin a lot more lately.
Long story short I found out yesterday that she isn’t in fact his relative, but a past FWB. And when I confronted him about it he didn’t deny and said there was nothing more to it. To which I asked him to show me his chat with her if it was innocent (first time, we don’t got through each others phones) and he flat out said “No” His justification is that in their past she’d miscarried while pregnant for him and wasn’t there for her and so he has kept in touch because he felt bad and from time to time affirms her “she will always have a soft spot” for her. I broke things off because I feel completely betrayed and blindsided and his failure to be forthcoming has my mind in a spiral. I don’t see myself coming back from this. I’ve moved out and I’m collecting the rest of my stuff on Sunday.
I am devastated and unfortunately have resorted to Reddit for comfort. What are some practical ways I can begin piecing myself together.

2025.01.22 11:47 Munnki First pair of skis - all mountain?
Im on the lookout for a first pair of ski. I’m a seasoned skier, had a bought pair from my parents when I was younger but for a few years I’ve rented all sorts of skis.
I’m mainly a piste rider, but this year I finally tried some freeriding on skis not designed for it. Mainly short routes, nothing hardcore at all - but my god I’m hooked.
I like to go fast a lot with curves that don’t really slow me down a lot, but I also would like to have an option to focus on curving as I feel I need to work on my technique and I’m definitely planning on doing more freeriding.
Is an all mountain ski a good fit, or is it a case of „master of none” and I’ll end up lacking something in every „speciality”?
And please don’t recommend me 2/3 pair of skis - I ain’t that rich unfortunately

Generally dumbfounded at the number of comments calling out people for third partying during the event. This is a battle royale game where you are supposed to be the last one standing. Why would someone need to wait for you to do your event and pick up better loot as opposed to taking a chance to kill you when you're distracted?
This is not a PVE game. If third partying makes you angry you should likely find another game mode. Giving off same vibes as people who complained about not having bots in OG. PLAY A PVE GAME. Its kind if someone gives you time to do event, but that should in no way be expected. Your goal is to at some point kill them, why would they not kill you given the opportunity? Softest shit I've seen here in a while.
