Do you really trust them, people?
I got tested in 2023 to get some hilarious results. I have no family connection to the US and no biological connection to Israel (only my step-father used to live in Israel). Nevertheless, the test called me 50% American (without specifics), 20% Cuban (at least, my name is Cuban too, so, there's some distant logic) and 20% Jewish. The rest was "other ethnicities". They just mock their test subjects.

It was a cold, clear morning when I decided to buy the game console I had been eyeing for months. The bright orange sale sign in the window of the electronics store seemed like a sign,,,,... it was time. I had saved up enough money, worked extra hours, and managed to scrape together just enough for the latest model. I imagined how great it would be to finally sink into a new virtual world, escaping the pressures of my daily life. It had been a long while since I treated myself to something this big.
As I stepped into the store, the gleam of the console caught my eye, sitting on a shelf with a few others. I could already picture it plugged into my living room, the controller in my hands, the new games loading on screen. But just as I was about to walk to the counter to pay, the loudspeaker overhead crackled with an announcement.
“Breaking news, a wildfire is currently spreading rapidly through the hills of Los Angeles. Residents in affected areas are being evacuated as homes continue to burn...”
The cheerful atmosphere of the store, filled with bright colors and the hum of excited customers, suddenly felt distant. My hand froze halfway to my wallet as I listened. The image of families packing up in a hurry, grabbing whatever they could, filled my mind. My excitement about the console began to feel hollow.
I could see it now: people losing everything in the blink of an eye while I was about to indulge in a luxury I didn’t necessarily need. My thoughts went to the families who didn’t know if they would return to their homes or if they had already lost everything to the flames. There was no way to compare my own small joy to their suffering.
For a moment, I felt ashamed. Here I was, about to buy a piece of entertainment, while others were fighting to save their lives and memories. The contrast was overwhelming. I could already imagine the stories from LA ,, .. neighbors helping neighbors, families watching helplessly as their homes burned.
I paused, torn between two worlds: one where I could feel a fleeting happiness from a new console, and another where people were struggling to rebuild their lives after devastation. The choice felt so trivial in comparison.
I decided to put the console back on the shelf. Maybe it wasn’t the right time, I thought. I needed to do something more meaningful, something that aligned with the reality unfolding around me. I left the store empty-handed, my mind still haunted by the images of those people in LA. Maybe, I thought, I could donate some of the money I’d saved up to help them. It wasn’t much, but it felt better than just buying something for myself.
As I walked out into the cold air, the weight of the decision still heavy on my shoulders, I realized that sometimes, the hardest choices aren’t about what we want for ourselves, but what we can give to others.

 | Red Eyes Metal Deck Help? Hey y’all So I have been working on this deck for … over 10 years I think. This is a Red Eyes deck, and I’m hoping to keep it that way. I know, Red Eyes isn’t competitive but I’m working on it anyway. I have thought about many engines including Bystial, Albaz, Primite… but right now I’m working on a metalmorph deck variety. The idea is simple: get Full Metal on the field for the omninegate. Then using Red Eyes Darkness Dragon and Return of the Red Eyes, special summon level 7s to XYZ summon one or two copies of Flare Metal Dragon to slow down the opponent. Then we finish off with beatsticks. Nothing too fancy, something easy enough to pull off consistency. I what do y’all think? Any help is appreciated Ok so before you comment about a few of the atypical cards, let me explain The Dark Hex Sealed Fusion: yes I know Dark Magician is more favorable for Dragoon, but I feel Hex is less bricky. Hello! I'm transgender (ftm) going into ROTC for college and I was just wondering if there was anyone who was also transgender and in ROTC during the previous ban? If so, what was your experience?
I'm able to transition medically when I turn 18 due to my dad's insurance and wondered if I would be able to underneath the new ban when I commissioned? I know the answer is probably "no," but I just wanna be hopeful ig😭! Thank you and I'm so sorry for the stupid question.

Drunk teachers are the best, and when a teacher is drunk students tend to learn better and more quickly. When Mr Southall teaches his students while sober, nobody seems to learn anything or understand anything. Then when Mr Southall taught his students while drunk, suddenly the whole class just seemed to learn more quickly. Our brains seemed to just absorb information better and nobody seems to know why this was the case. Mr Southall isn't so nice when he is sober and he has no enthusiasm to teach as well. When he is drunk though any information or knowledge that he teaches us, it just flows into our brain.
Mr Southall is also more forgiving when he is drunk and when the 3 naughty kids are causing trouble inside the class, he simply forgives them. The 3 naughty kids first take this as a sign of weakness but as time goes by, the 3 naughty kids started getting angry at Mr Southall for forgiving them. The 3 naughty kids demand that Mr Southall stopped drinking and start to hand out punishments whenever students misbehave. The rest of the class didn't understand why the 3 naughty kids were having problems with Mr Southall drunken ways.
Everyone was learning much better and quicker, and Mr Southall was so forgiving. The 3 naughty students were becoming more desperate for Mr Southall to not forgive them. The 3 of them seemed more desperate to not be forgivened. They then started attacking Mr Southall house and he was still drunk, and then the next day Mr Southall while still drunk had forgiven the 3 students that attacked him. The 3 students started feeling pain and their bodies were twitching and vibrating. It's like they were changing and the drunk Mr Southall kept saying that he forgives them no matter what they do.
The evil inside the 3 students started growing stronger and more menacing. The 3 students begged Mr Southall to punish them, so that way the evil inside cannot grow anymore. Mr Southall while very drunk in class couldn't forgive while drunk and the students in his class were so intelligent now, as our brains could just sponge and absorb the information that he teaches. Teachers are the best when they are drunk and other teachers are following suit and they are teaching while being drunk.
The other students in the school are also starting to absorb information. The other teachers are also forgiving students because they are drunk, and the evil qualities inside bad students keeps growing while it consumes them. Then they have to be forgivingly shot down.

My chihuahua has a stone and plaque on teeth, which should be removed.
Is it a fair price? They include teeth removal in case it will be required but even without it's gonna be at least $1000.
I have pet insurance, but unfortunately, most probably, it will not be covered because it's a pre-existing disease.
Please advise a good pet clinic if you have any.
