VSCode is very adept at asking the compiler what include paths it is using if you set things up correctly. Part of my project uses a DSP compiler based on GCC, so by adding "-v" to the compiler's flags (I put it in CFLAGS in my Makefile) I was able to see the internal command lines which revealed the "secret" flags being passed to the lower compiler levels. This does not work for me on either Windows 10 or Windows 7. When I try to run as Administrator, either by right clicking the BAT file and "Run as Administrator", or using the technique described here the batch file flashes open for a second then closes immediately with no commands or programs in the batch file executing. Both the following snippets of code do the same thing. They catch every exception and execute the code in the except: block Snippet 1 - try: #some code that may throw an exception except: # Lambda Expressions. To add on to jk.'s excellent answer, you can now pass a method more easily using Lambda Expressions (in Java 8). Easiest way to use this function is to start by 'Recording a Macro'. Once you start recording, save the file to the location you want, with the name you want, and then of course set the file type, most likely 'Excel Macro Enabled Workbook' ~ 'XLSM' You can use the Func delegate in .NET 3.5 as the parameter in your RunTheMethod method. The Func delegate allows you to specify a method that takes a number of parameters of a specific type and returns a single argument of a specific type. Thanks, @Anders. Please, a minor question: I am trying to use your script with my own program (calling a .lnk file that executes a Windows shell .exe), and I can not set my preferred icon, as I always do with any .lnk file. Benjamin Armstrong posted an excellent article about self-elevating PowerShell scripts.There a few minor issue with his code; a modified version based on fixes suggested in the comment is below. As of now, version 3.7.3 I had a little bit of an issue with getting the right system variable. Try this: Type start %appdata% in cmd.

Just like the title says. We're rolling (well, point-buying) up some new characters for a high attrition game. So everyone is doing a couple. There are a couple of very fun seeming concepts that don't really work out of the gate, but they would if just a few more feats were available as Origins.
Fighting Initiate to get Unarmed style on a wrestler-barbarian (Bulk Drogan) is one of them. It seems like a decent fit for this case, but as a general rule I'd worry about devaluing actual fighter levels. I wouldn't want another Warlock-dipping Bard to get Dueling without giving up some spell progression.
What do you all think?

Why is this needed? What are the consequences of not performing the banishment? Do two banishings have twice the effectiveness of one?
I notice that banishing before and after any magical activity is not as common outside ceremonial magic, including in chaos magic. What differences have you noticed when performing a banishing versus skipping it in your magical practices?
Do you have any stories about something that went wrong because you skipped doing a banishing?
What are the most potent types of banishing you have used or know about?
Does performing two banishings double the effectiveness of one, or does doing multiple consecutive banishings make no difference?
