Hi, I welcome those of you who know physics and/or fluid dynamics and even those who observed the phenomenon of purge being messed up to discuss this equation which explains how air can be sucked into the pipe if static pressure inside it decreas scdue to thevincrease of dynamic pressure...
Yesterday I had enough free time at work and after discussing bad purge due to unexplainable reasons with my colleagues it popped in my head that I know these words from somewhere- "bernoulli'sequation" I had no clue what it means but I observed it in youtube and after some reasoning I came up that this might be the cause of air being sucked in despite the high argon flow inside the pipe... I spent whole night reading about it and I think I kind of get it now..
If the gap is open and the argon flow is high (and significant portion of argon exits the pipe not through the gap but rther through a hose that passes through one of the purge pillows, given that you peel off the duct tape from the gap, the air will be sucked in because the static pressure inside of it is lesser then the static pressure outsidecof it.... Opening the gap also changes the path way of the argon so large portion can flow right through the gap, but if you got the hose installed simultaneously, or some shitty breathable sponge for a pillow thevair can now be sucked in yhrough it....
So in case if you use the hose in the pillow that allows argon to escape you either have to plug it at the beginning, or only peel the correct amount of the tape off of the gap which is determinable experimentally.
The equation should also explain how the torch nozzle high flow can propel some air towards the gap.
Generally while welding small diameter pipes I never ran into purge issues but it becomes messed up when we talk large diameter pipes and I think I finally know why, you see with what I do right now it is strictly required that there would be no volor around the root whatsoever and I am not yhe only welder here who ran into the issue....
Some of you will tell me just crank up the argon and stop with the nerd bullshit, but the reality is that we all tried that, insane amounts of argon three hoses maxed outcfrom a battery of 9argon cylinders just don't drop the oxygen concentration liwer than 600ppm... Now that is weird stuff observed in real life....

Looking for advice on what car to keep or buy
Currently my wife and I have a shared 2017 Toyota Sienna. Has almost 200K miles. It’s in pretty good shape. If we were to sell it we would need to clean it really well, and there’s a dented rear bumper, squealing belt and some grinding when turning sometimes. All fairly minor fixes I think
I work in the trades and have a take home company provided cargo van. We have 3 kids and I can take 1 kid in my van as needed but I’m trying to not use this vehicle as much outside of work and there’s a need to . We previously had a second personal vehicle but sold it in 2021 as we weren’t using it much at the time. With more kids activities we could use a second car again
None of the kids are in car seats any longer so we’ve considered selling the sienna while it’s value is still good and using the proceeds for at least 1 smaller suv now and possibly a second later. I previously had a Toyota rav4 for a company car which I loved and was very reliable.
We’ve also considered keeping the sienna to be my casecondary car as I can use it for my own projects and buying a used RAV or similar. Open to options. Ideally we are looking for all wheel drive as we live on top of a hill and in a snowy area. We also are looking to pay cash and not have a car payment. The Sienna is paid off in full.
What would you do?

He is 70 I am 49. We've been together 11 yrs. Everytime his very dear friend of 20+ yrs calls comes over texts or does says anything she is held in high respect and friendship unlike myself or the way I'm preciving he treats me. How dare I even bring it up and I told to shut the ****up and all I'm trying to to isbto start something.....I'm so tired of it. I'm upset about things and he won't even allow me to speak with him about then he just shits me up and turn cilx if anything and I mean anything is said about her. Like the fact that I just gave $100 and can not even access storage where some of our stuff he put in there is. If the tables were turned there is no way he would be ok with that and this is just a tubal thing I get it but I guess it's just thestraw that broke the camels back... What do I do how do I talk with him about things that really really bother me if I'm not allowed to bring it up....what am I doing wrong?

My 14 month old started daycare 2 weeks ago and was sick almost immediately. We expected this, which is why I'm not going back full time at work until February so I could be home when the inevitable happens.
My question for advice is: My "full time" hours are going to be 3 days/week, I'm a nurse so I work 3 12's. Should I keep my child in daycare 5 days/week or only on days I work? I'm trying to lessen exposure to sickness as much as possible but not sure if 2 days will make much of a difference. There are some weeks I have to work a weekend so it'll only be 2 days out of the week I work so she could be home the other 3. Thoughts?
We do wipe her hands in the car, sanitize sheet/blanket when we get them back, no shoes in the house, change her clothes as soon as she's home, and bath time is every night. She gets a yogurt with probiotics every morning, apple juice with added vitamin C and she's eats pretty healthy for the most part.
Solidarity to those with kids in daycare -- we're only in the beginning and I know the sickness has only just begun 🥲

Most people's complaint about Donda is how bloated the album is, so I've started this project as a way of making the album a smoother experience for both those who want to relisten it, and especially for first time listeners, so you can see this project as an easier way to get your friends into Kanye for example. There are actually very few changes I've done to the song, but for me they all help the album feel less dull, bringing the total runtime of the Deluxe Edition from 2 hours, 10 minutes and 52 seconds to 1 hour, 41 minutes and 5 seconds, as well as fixing some small issueti had with the songs themselves. 2025.01.22 12:43 LoneWolfIndia Unpopular opinion maybe but currently am not much bothered about tourism in AP, looking at what is happening in Goa, Uttarakhand, Himachal.
We have nice secluded beaches, hill stations, Konaseema but let em be as is. Vizag is already overrun by Bengali, Odiya tourists, the beachfront is no longer where you go for quiet relaxation. Araku has turned completely filthy nowadays.
What we really need is industry, IT investments that can give jobs, so that our youth don't have to migrate elsewhere. Tourism for me is hardly much of a priority. If it develops fine , but don't think we should focus on that much.
