Little bit of background, I'm a new rider working to get my license. I've had experience driving on open roads and highways before in both cars and motorcycles, but haven't clocked that many hours yet.
I really wasn't a huge motorcycle person, having seen so many people close to me get close or even die from motorcycles which scared me. Since motorcycles (and by extension scooters) are cheaper than cars it was my only choice as a broke student.
Today I was practicing around my subdivision, moving through corners, speeding up and controlling the brakes, etc. when I took some corners too fast and slid. Thankfully nothing serious, but my leg is covered in abrasions.
Two things I learned; one, I really shouldn't be overestimating my skill. I may have experience but it never means I'm able to just copy MotoGP guys; taking it slow is really important when you're new. Two; I should probably get better gear. I have a hand-me-down Evo helmet which, from lurking in this sub, has told me I should probably save up for a better one. I also have a "probably legit" Komine jacket that I also got handed down, but I have no rated riding pants which is the reason why I have bandages on my leg now.
I am kind of thankful for this experience, it was humbling and now I'm more careful when riding. My scooter is all scratched up now though so that's a reminder to me to be careful.

I just had a microdiscectomy at the l5s1 level 12/31/24. I have not had any relief from my preop symptoms. I had an emg done with findings of l4l5 radiculopathy before surgery. It also stated on my mri in November that my disc bulge at l4l5 had slightly worsened. I know healing takes time but maybe I needed both levels done. Has any one experienced this? I am going to speak to the doctor. I also am not sure how close you can have surgery on two different levels. I'm just ready for this pain to go away. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have this problem too
I tried a weird build just for role play sake and I have 42 2h with 3/5 barbarian and champions stance. I usually cast flame Atronach then Bound Battleaxe in every fight or sometimes use a bow (lv 32) but with Burnt Spriggan I have no chance whatsoever!!! Even with lovely Lydia as my companion.
The burnt spriggan just knock us three all out after a few seconds.
Using my ancient supple Nord bow is useless, I tried ice spike too but nothing works at all. Fire resist potion only makes battle last a few seconds longer
I am lv 13 and my first time in Solsteim as i only recently bough SE on special. Before then I have been a casual vanilla player since launch.
I would like to just ignore this area and go back to Skyrim, but the pesky Miraak keeps stealing dragon soul so I want to defeat him and going to tel Mithryn seems my only option in questlines.
P.S. I did finally beat him after 30 odd tries because he fell down behind a rock and i chopped him from above and he didn't focus me for once. hardest fight so far by a LONG way. almost as bad as when i had to do one of the big dragon (the one partysnacks helps you with except second fight he was bugged and didn't fight too!) tried because of game bug and had used all my consumables etc.. couldn't run etc.
now I go a little further and its a fight vs TWO burnt spriggan omfg I gave up and gone back to Skyrim but its annoying to keep losing dragon soul I really need them also the UI is terrible half the time i click on something and it just closes the menu its like the click is 5cm left of where the mouse pointer is! Might try a mod for this.
