Current Financial Situation: Income (Brutto): ~CHF 71'000/year, ~CHF 5'450/month
Normal banking account: CHF 25'000 Brokerage (Saxo Bank): VT ETF worth $47'000 USD (currently investing CHF 3000 monthly) Savings account (0.5% interest, 6-month notice period): CHF 36'000 Bitcoin: CHF 1'500 (currently investing CHF 100 weekly) I also have physical gold currently worth approx. CHF 19'000 (owning this gives me a lot of pleasure and I see it less as an investment and more as fun).
Säule 3a 1st portfolio (VIAC Global 100): CHF 34'000 Säule 3a 2nd portfolio (VIAC custom strategy: 95% in Swisscanto World ex CH - IPF and 5% in iShares Bitcoin Trust): CHF 2'500 (investing the max every year)
Expenses: roughly CHF 2,000 - 2500 per month (still live with my parents).
Current Strategy: - Max out Säule 3a contributions annually. - Invest CHF 3000/month into VT ETF. - Invest CHF 100/week in Bitcoin - This is currently just for fun :)
Questions: - Is my current strategy reasonable, or are there areas where I could optimize? - Should I consider reallocating funds from my savings account to investments, given the low interest rate? - Does it make sense to diversify my portfolio further, or is focusing on VT and Säule 3a enough at this stage and age?

In today's time, numerous students are preparing for UPSC, and the quality of faculty and teachers plays a crucial role in this journey. The market is flooded with coaching institutes operating on a large scale, with a massive number of students in each course. Consequently, students often miss out on personal attention, and many instructors leak their courses on Telegram at a low cost. This tactic prevents new teachers from entering the industry, and these cheap courses ultimately harm students. The leaked materials are often incomplete and inadequate.
As a UPSC aspirant preparing for the economics optional paper, I initially struggled to find reliable resources. I relied on Telegram channels but didn't get satisfactory results. Fortunately, a friend introduced me to Rohit Sehrawat sir"GENUINE IAS" and I began researching his work. I checked his YouTube channel, "The Economics Lab" and even searched for his course on Telegram. I researched sir's course and was relieved to find it wasn't available on Telegram for cheap. I invested in his course, and for the first time.
After speaking with sir, I was impressed by his clarity and vision,To my surprise, sir was peaceful, motivating, and generous with his time. He explained that his course would span 8-9 months, and I felt motivated to enroll. Economics can be challenging, but with the right faculty, it becomes manageable.
Rohit sir's approach is unique; he works on a low scale, limiting his batch size to 50-60 students, with only one batch per year. This ensures each student receives personal attention and guidance. Additionally, sir provides free GS mentorship to us which is very beneficial.
One of the best aspects of sir's course is his in-depth analysis of previous year's questions. He also gives assignments and encourages students to attempt questions, making it highly beneficial. Furthermore, sir evaluates assignments and tests himself,providing a personal attention on students writting practice. What struck me most was the positive environment and friendly atmosphere in his student group, where students can ask doubts 24×7 and he also asks student to rate his class for assuring that there was no lack or something.
Sir's course is affordable, and his focus on personal attention and guidance is unparalleled. His paper 2 content is enriched and comprehensive. Seven students from his 2023 foundation batch cleared mains, and five received interview calls! I felt confident in my decision.
Another significant aspect is that while topper's vlogs can be helpful, in your preparation. However, Rohit sir's content is unique and adds significant value. Sir uses high-level, advanced books, such as Wendy Carlin for macroeconomics and Appleyard for trade. He even teaches growth theories using research papers, whereas conventional methods rely on Jhingan and low-grade content.
For Paper 2, sir doesn't rely on Uma Kapila or Mishra and puri or conventional sources. Instead, he researches each topic in-depth, incorporating EPW articles and newly published books, making his teaching approach exceptionally comprehensive and enriching.
Rohit sir's course is comprehensive, and he explains concepts in great depth. While it may be challenging but if you had maths in your 12th you will find it easy and sir's guidance makes it manageable. If you're enthusiastic about economics, I highly recommend reaching out to sir. GENUINE IAS
I'm sharing my experience because cheap, leaked courses and large-scale coaching institutes can be detrimental to students. They often ruin the foundation of students. In contrast, Rohit Sehrawat sir's course has been a game-changer for me, and I'm confident it will be for others as well.

Typischer Ubisoft Disclaimer: Alle Personen und Inhalte sind rein fiktiv. Ähnlichkeiten zu real existierenden Personen oder Ereignissen sind rein zufällig und haben nix miteinander zu tun. Dieser Ratgeber wurde von verschiedenen Personen unterschiedlicher Herkunft, Religion und diversen Geschlechts erarbeitet und zusammengefasst
Kennt ihr das auch? Ihr wollt mit euren Freunden und Familie eine Feier veranstalten und ihr bringt dafür in eurer Nachbarschaft großflächig Plakate und Werbung an. Nach dem aufhängen fällt euch aber auf das auf den Plakaten Fehler zu sehen sind und ihr wollte diese nun beheben und müsst dazu besagte Plakate entfernen. Das kann unter Umständen sehr schwierig sein. Wir möchten euch ein paar nützliche Tipps geben wie ihr trotzdem eure eigenen Plakate ohne großen Aufwand entfernen könnt, bevor jemand eure Rechtschreibfehler entdeckt. Da für alle der passende Tipp dabei ist werden wir uns auf 2 verschiedene Möglichkeiten konzentrieren.
Möglichkeit 1: Das offensichtliche Vorgehen Wie erzeugt man am wenigsten Aufmerksamkeit? In dem man es so offensichtlich wie möglich macht. Für diesen Fall könnt ihr euch sehr professionell mit einer kleinen Schiebeleiter, Seitenschneider, Warnweste/Jacke und Handschuhen ans Werk machen. Je nachdem wie "professionell" ihr dabei wirken möchtet, könnt ihr auch noch ein Klemmbrett mit einer eigens erstellten Liste/Formular oder sogar einer bedruckten Warnweste/Jacke mit einem Firmennamen (Werbeservice Hahn zum Beispiel) zu eurem Plakat gehen und dort so auffällig wie möglich anfangen diese in aller Ruhe zu entfernen. Gerne könnt ihr auch Notizen wie "Straße, geschätzte Höhe, Art des Plakats" auf euer Formular schreiben um noch professioneller zu wirken bevor ihr anfangt (falls der eine oder andere Passant komisch schaut). Dies empfiehlt sich vor allem in Städten wo die Warnweste das Camouflage der kleinen Maus ist. Desto leuchtender desto offizieller.
Möglichkeit 2: Die heimliche Methode Nicht jeder ist so selbstbewusst das Maus sich traut am hellen Tage seine eigenen Plakate zu entfernen. Ist auch verständlich. Am Ende denken die Leute das Maus mit den Schreibfehlern auf dem Plakat etwas zu tun hat oder es werden gar böse Absichten unterstellt. Doch auch dafür gibt es mehrere Lösungen. Die gute alte "Räuberleiter" ist sicher selbsterklärend. Wenn ihr jedoch alleine seid gibt es auch da Lösungen. Ein paar Meter Seil, 1 selbstgebauter Haken (2 - 4 Haken zusammenbinden reicht vollkommen aus) und etwas Können, können dabei helfen eure Plakate von weit oben auf eine etwas angenehmere Höhe runter zu ziehen. Wenn das geschafft ist, einfach entfernen. Wenn ihr jedoch lieber Änderungen am Plakat direkt vornehmen wollt empfiehlt sich entweder Omas alte Kristbaumkugel mit Farbe (für alle die auf die Umwelt achten kann man auch ausgeblasene Eier nehmen und diese mit Farbe füllen), 1 umgebauter Feuerlöscher mit Pulver (dazu gibt es genug Anleitungen online) oder ganz handlich eine Pumpspritze mit Wasser-Farb-Gemisch. Kommt auch an schwer erreichbare Stellen und ist wiederverwendbar. Für alles auf erreichbarer Höhe kann man auch eigene Sticker oder gesprühte Liebesbotschaften oder Änderungen anbringen. Nach Rechtssprechung ist dies "Unter der Bedingung das der ursprüngliche Zustand nicht in einer Art und Weise verändert wird (Zerstörung oä.)und die Änderung ohne Aufwand entfernt werden kann (abziehen vom Aufkleber, weg wischen von der Botschaft a.d.R.) keine Sachbeschädigung".

I’m the oldest child in my family, and I’ve always had the lion’s share of responsibilities—helping my parents with bills, translating everything, and generally being their go-to person for anything they need. Meanwhile, my younger brother barely has any responsibilities and seems to get all the affection and favor from my mom.
What’s really making things unbearable is how my mom treats my significant other (SO). When I first introduced her, my mom said, “I don’t like her, but if you’re happy, I’m happy.” That felt tolerable, but things have escalated. Over the weeks, after talking with my brother behind my back (they even whisper about it when I’m in the living room), she’s gone from indifferent to outright hating my SO and her family.
She claims my SO’s family “looks down” on ours and says they don’t respect us. She’s been passive-aggressively making my life miserable, trying to push me to leave my SO. I’ve tried reasoning with her, explaining that dating is about getting to know someone and their family, but she sees it as me abandoning her and favoring my SO’s family instead.
No matter how much I reassure her that this isn’t the case, it doesn’t help. She even says things like, “I don’t want to ask you for help because one day you’ll leave me, and then your dad and I will have no one to rely on. We need to learn to be independent now.” But then, she’ll turn around and ask my brother for help instead of me.
She also keeps accusing my SO and their family of trying to control me and claims they’ve “retrained” me over the past four years. In reality, I’ve just grown up and started to see her toxic, narcissistic behavior for what it is.
Has anyone else been in a situation like this? How do you deal with a parent who acts like this? I feel like I’m being torn between two worlds, and it’s exhausting.
