I have always avoided need of credit card but recently got an offer from HSBC Bank of a branded trolly bag for a lifetime fee credit card with Zero annual fee. The agent was calling me for days to consider applying for it but when I did I got this email from HSBC and now the agent is avoiding my calls lol. I have no direct loans from my Axis bank account. I have a home loan on my father's name and sometimes he withdraws money for emi from my salary account but how would they know? Hi everyone,
I recently finished my MPH and I am applying for jobs atm. I have always wanted to earn a doctorate and have been weighing in my options and would love some feedback from others in the group who pursued a doctorate degree. I was speaking with a friend who is a lawyer about this and she suggested getting a JD because it is a professional doctorate and you have opportunities in the “law world” that also fit with the MPH and its 3 years of study.
I was looking at other PhD programs that are 5-6 years of study and I would accrue the same amount of debt if I went to law school.
I do have interests in policy and am genuinely surprised that I am considering law school because I have never thought about it. I have worked in healthcare as a creative arts therapist and do have a passion to work in this field.
Any helpful tips are open and I appreciate them. Thanks!

Hi there peeps !
I bought a brand-new fatbike for peanuts. Company went bust last year. There was no manual, but I figured 'everything' well enough.
Everything ? It all works, but I can't, for the life of me, remove the battery.
The second-hand bike company who sold it to me offered to take it back and refund me, but honestly, the deal is really good (-75% on the original price) and I don't want to get that one off my hands because I couldn't remove the battery.
Another dude from a neighbouring country showed me and his removes fairly easily. Yet mine refuses to budge. I tried taking it with both hands.
Before I take the bike apart, is there anything I could try ?

Hello everyone,
I am based out of India and need your expertise to take further steps in the future.
I have experience of around 12 years, started my career with HTML, CSS, basic scripting, WordPress theme customization, and later moved to a bit of Digital Marketing.
Currently, I have been working for a brand with Shopify for the last 4-5 years, and a part of performance marketing/supply chain/logistics and even branding activities, with more focus on tech implementations. I am a bridge between the Business team and the tech team. For tech implementations, we use Jira, where I add/update tasks and take updates on them too. I feel that by this I have got an idea about how the brand functions overall.
As I have become an all-rounder, I am worried that my career is not going into any specialized way, and hence, I feel job prospects will be very limited. Since I am involved everywhere, most of the time, I am the bottleneck and hence feel that someday it might cause big problems in my employment.
Based on my current work, I feel a Product Manager could be an option, as a Product Owner has a limited scope, while I have an overall idea. Another option could be a Project Manager but I think my very limited core tech knowledge and less speaking personality doesn't suit it. I do not have much idea about Scrum Master.
Also, if possible please suggest certifications to grow in my career, and boost my expertise.

It feels like every person above 50 always insists you should just stay at your job, regardless of how you like it or how you’re treated.
I’ve been at my current job for one year, it’s the biggest title jump of my career, and the most money (but not by a ton, maybe a couple thousand).
In this year I have received: zero support or training, leadership who does not appear to respect me, no bonus (even compared to peers of similar tenure, I understand bonuses aren’t owed to me, let me be clear on that, but when others with similar tenure and roles are getting several thousand and I get nothing - it’s questionable), no raise (the reasoning for this was that I was started at the same pay I left my last employer at, and they said they’d bump me to the few thousand extra I make now after 6 months, they did do this - but if I had known when they told me this in my offer that it would mean I wouldn’t be eligible for raises for another 1.5 years, I would have negotiated for more).
Pros: Good title that would be useful later on. Staying only increases marketability later on.
Cons: I feel cheated. There is no respect. It’s hard to get anything done with no training, and that lack of training only reflects on me when I don’t know things. Lack of bonus/raises not explained to me when I started.
