In the fall/winter, I was dealing with a terrible RA / ME/CFS flare-up, and it felt debilitating almost every single day. I'm having to interrupt my studies to go home and deal with all this medical stuff so I can hopefully have a better time at school. But when I came back from winter break I'm not having that intense debilitating pain all the time. It's making me think that my chronic pain was never that serious to begin with. Is it normal to feel bad about feeling okay? it feels like I have to be doing badly physically to prove that my chronic illness is real, especially since I am pausing my studies because of it.

Hello à tous,
J'ai eu une journée de formation en decembre avec la secrétaire que je remplace, tout s'est bien passé. Elle est partie en vacance et à son retour je devais avoir 2 semaines de formation avant son départ. Ça s'est très mal passé entre nous, la direction a décidé de me placer sur un autre poste le temps qu'elle s'en aille.
Lors de ma prise de poste seule ce matin, je suis arrivée et elle a saboter tout le poste, je m'explique : elle a déconnecté sa boîte mail, elle a supprimé toutes les donnés de l'ordinateur, tous les mots de passes des logiciels. Elle a modifié un tableau Excel de Gardes, elle a tout mélangé dans un classeur très important et elle a même supprimé le mot de passe du standard telephonique sur l'ordinateur. J'ai passé 45 minutes avec l'informaticien qui a pété un plomb car je devais récupérer sa boîte mail, je n'avais aucun mail créer à mon nom. J'ai du gérer un tableau de garde à envoyer en 1h30 ce matin avec toutes les donnés mélangées. Un vrai casse tête !
Elle a clairement saboté le poste. Je dois avoir un rendez-vous avec la direction demain pour expliquer la situation. La directrice va être prévenue ce jour.
Est-ce que c'est une faute grave ce qu'elle a fait ? Malgré notre mauvaise entente, le fait qu'elle ait tout supprimé, saboté, cela passera comme une faute professionnelle ? Je me retrouve à prendre un poste pendant 5 mois dans de mauvaise conditions. Je vous raconte pas comment je suis mal.. Quels sont mes recours ? J'ai peur que tout se retourne contre moi sans les informations nécessaires pour ce poste.

I don't usually complain about the postal service (aside from wanting postmaster Dejoy to dry up and blow away) , but the post-person simply not coming to deliver the mail? Are they understaffed, or overwhelmed? I hate to think unreliable postal service is the wave of the future.

2025.01.22 13:45 Understudy_lobster Dog lameness 8 months post TPLO
My 10 year old lab mix had tplo on her left backnleg about 8 months ago. Her post checkups went fine and the vet said she loooked good. She has been able to resume walks, although she has never been quite the same since surgery. She's much stiffer in her movements.
Today, I let her out and she was a little excited because of the snow. I noticed she started walking with her back left leg lifted...just like she did when she had the injury that necessitated the tplo.
Im terrified that her knee just got messed up all over again. I can't get to the vet right now with icy roads. Is her lameness a sure sign of a major knee problem or is it possible that it sould be a minor sprain. She didnt yelp or anything, i think running around more than normal was the culprit.
I currently have her resting and gave her an anti inflamitory. She will occasionally put the leg down when walking but does not put much weight on it. Any advice or guidnace would be helpful until I can get to the vet.

Hi. I am afraid of becoming successful and known to people. I think if I get successful people are gonna get me for various reasons.I haven't done anything wrong in my life.
I get anxious when I want to think about starting a business, creating social media content or speaking my mind. I tell myself what if someone say bad things about me to destroy my reputation when I get popular on social media. Or what if someone acuse me of something if I get rich and with that That's why I don't do anything.
Maybe it's because I come from a country that there is no freedom or my family has always suppressed my will to success or I see people who are successful or famous get in trouble here and there and that is why my mind puts myself into their shoes and gets afraid.
My mind is not afraid of crossing the road but it is afraid of everything else in a catastrophic way.
I want a way out. Do you have any solutions that have worked for you? Any way to change the neuroplasticity of my brain in a positive way. Because I'm suffering so much. Thank you.
