2025.01.22 13:42 No-Bad2509 AMD LOSING PERFORMANCE RANDOM
(Acer aspire 7) Hello guys, about 2 months ago I observerd something strange. The processor (AMD RYZEN 5500U with GTX 1650) after working for 25~30 min. (Most of the time when it get hot) Start to drop the power at half for a few seconds and then it get back to normally. I don’t know why but it’s so annoying because when it happens I get a very big frame drop and much lag when I play different games (from average 70fps to 3~8fps)
I do:
-Amd drivers with control center updated -Amd chipset installed and updated -Using a 5 fans cooler (aqirys) -Replacing thermal paste from 2 to 2 months -Send laptop to shop where I bought in warranty (and it was returned with no problems after stress test ,and just replaced the thermal paste) -Reinstalled windows (10/11) (full installation and custom ISO) (nothing happend for every case) -Always plugged in (IT DON’T DO THE FRAME DROP WHEN IT’S ON BATTERY OR INTEGRATED GRAPHICS)
The single method I use to resolve this is to limit processor (maximum processor performance from power plan) at 95%, but I lose 15~20FPS and much performance in generally
I will post photos to show the problem in task manager

I have a bad connection with my main tenant. I am moving out because the room was cold eventhough the radiotor was working. It looses so much temperature through the window. I am moving and found the person who can replace. But now there is cancellation contract and he writed there himself he will give me back my deposit after reviewing for 6 months. What should i do. I dont know much about Renting law. What if the replce person break something and they tried to blame. He did not specify this on the contract that he will give me back by deposit in 6 months. Shouldi sign on the contract.

I’m 10 weeks into my orientation but basically i’ve only been on my floor for 4 full weeks. I’m about to be off orientation in 2 weeks and have my own patients but i just keep making mistakes here and there and honestly it’s just hard. I get so much pre and post shift anxiety that i can barely sleep at night. I keep thinking about the things i’ve done at work and trying to see if i made a mistake. I care so much about what ppl think about me and that’s even worse. Some of my preceptors are supportive but there’s this one senior nurse that i’m sure thinks i’m stupid. The tone that she speaks to me with already makes it obvious that she doesn’t like me. I feel like charting is honestly one of the hardest part of nursing. It’s just so time consuming and there’s a lot of things i don’t know how to navigate or just mess up. Does anyone have any tips on charting or just everything? I’m just so frustrated at myself and i hate that I already want to quit. But i feel like i just wasted 4 yrs of my life studying for nothing.

Side note I'm never sure if dropping DV for AV is worth it, it often feels like losing 3+ DV for a single AV. What sort of tradeoff should I be looking for in general?

I bought a crazy vintage dining room table from a guy who’s flipping a house in a neighborhood near me that was all built in 1953–about 200 houses built in classic postwar American suburb style, which is not that common in my area. The house had been unrenovated since it was built, and the inside had been redecorated around 1970 and left pretty much as is, which was great to see, but on the way out I noticed the transom and sidelights around the door and asked if he was planning to keep them. He said no but if they were able to take them out in one piece I could have them.
Don't know exactly know what to do with it but it seemed like a shame to just let it be tossed. Cool 50s atomic motif.

I recently bought a TH8S shifter and saw that FH5 is on sale. I tried my wheel and shifter on FH3 but the shifter didn't work and I was wondering if FH5 is the same or if anyone tried using the TH8S specifically, it's sort of a dealbreaker for me that's why I'm asking. Thanks in advance.

I feel like people need to realise that, in most cases, the biggest and most obvious clue about who someone is is literally their voice and how they sound. The actual VT clues are so mixed in and misleading, and often deliberately a bit of a stretch, that you can only rely so far on them.
I've seen some crazy guesses based just on VT clues - if the VT fits but they sound nothing like them, it's 95% probable it's not them!! And if the clues are a bit of a stretch but it really, really sounds like them-especially if they have a distinctive voice-it probably is them!! Listen people!!
