Hi! I know this isn't specifically Yosemite, but hoping to find some guidance/recommendations on the way.
I'll be taking the fam to California this June. One of our stops will be in Joshua Tree, before taking 395 up to Mammoth Lakes & Yosemite, but I'd love to stop and spend some time seeing Sequoia.
I realized that there's a number of things I won't be able to get us to on the opposite side (ex. Crystal Cave, General Sherman, etc) but what are some great stops along the 395 side (ex. Mt. Whitney)?

me and my partner dated for 4 years, we started when i was 14 and he was 16 and weve been broken up since october but we have been trying to work through the issue. The only issue we had was I wasnt feeling love towards him bc he made me do a threesome and i just couldnt be with him after that, but the past few months hes been persistent about how much he loves me and wanted to wait for me to fully get over it and forgive him. Well the day before yesterday we planned a date and it was so perfect and i actually didnt think about it at all and he really seemed to change from how he used to be before we broke up. Well ended up going back to my place after the date and making love and we layed on the floor in my room for hourse just talking. That night he called me and i fell asleep otp with him and he told me about a date he had but he was going to cancel it immediately because we were back to being ourselves again. He ended up going on the date, they stayed together for 6 hours and when he got home he told me to come get my stuff and how hes moved on. That morning he told me he was going on the date just to be nice but he wouldnt follow up and i said yeah that makes sense bc cancelling last minute would be rude but then he came back to me saying that he wanted to try polyamory and how he needs to go on a second date with this girl but he still is choosing me. I said if hes choosing me then he cant do the second date bc im not polyamorous and the fact that he “NEEDS” this is making me so extremely insecure. And i did crash out a little bit and called her ugly and he got so defensive and i just cried. I told him to call me back once hes made a decision and when he called me back he just said again how he was choosing me but needed this girl right now. She actually happens to be friends with the guy we had the threesome with so ik her instagram and i almost want to message her telling her off but ik that would only make him really choose her. I just cant be with someone who is pounding someone else but hes calling me selfish and telling ne hell always come back to me but he needs this for rn. I felt so broken bc he acted so normal after the date but while he was with her he acted so upset at me, so i went to get my stuff from his house and his mom ended uo being there and wanted “to know what i did with her son” and i was confused and she elaborated that he told her he was supposed to go on another date with me so she thought he’d be with me. He told her it was supposed to be me. I dont understand how for months he wants me back and when i finally reciprocate his feelings he just does this. And before the date he even said “im going to fumble it because i just love and need you” and said over and over again how he just wanted me. im so confused i feel so sick my head hurts and feels dizzy nonstop and its felt like this since yesterday at 2pm and now its 10am of the next day and this morning i just cried and cried and he heard bc we were still otp and he just got upset at me and said that me crying was making him want me less and less.
sorry if spelling is bad im so upset typing is just so difficult. and i cant even tell anyone in my life about this because nobody knows i was still trying to work it out with him and everyone would just be disappointed in me for falling for the same shit
