2025.01.22 16:02 quantumwarden Is calibration really necessary or more trouble than it's worth for a beginner and better to ease into it later?
So I just bought a Saturn 4 Ultra, as it seems like the only top of the line printer for sale in my country if I don't want to import along with the Mercury 3 wash n cure station, I've been watching a lot of videos as I don't wanna fuck anything up that will take a even more money to fix like fucking up my PEF Sheet.
Anyway on to my question, it looks like the biggest barrier to entry as to learning how to work this thing is calibration settings, so my question is pretty simple, can't I just copy someone's settings for a this specific printer and the specific resin I got (Sunlu ABS-Like Dark Grey in my case) and get more or less the same results instead having to go through the hassle of turning things up and down until I get a failure, potentially drop something into the vat and fuck up my PEF sheet trying to clean it?
Obviously I understand you might wanna play with the settings for specific types of prints, but I imagine that would be easier to do after I have a few prints under my belt, no? Anyway, please let me know your thoughts.

I will be applying to OMSCS soon as my first preference for an online masters in computer science. I've been able to answer a lot of my questions just reading though the threads here. Thank you everyone!
One question I still have though while looking through the courses available and the specializations is if it's possible to do one course in-person in Atlanta? The course I had in mind is 'CS 6492 Shape Grammars' (Computer Graphics Specialization) taught by the architecture school I presume, but it isn't available online. Nevertheless, my question is more general for any of the classes that aren't taught online, but listed as part of the specializations.

I was literally a zombie with no motivation, no self confidence, no energy, no self esteem. But nofap literally changed everything 360 degree. Now i am full of energy, motivation, self confidence. The girls in my college stare at me often. Some even tried to make friendship with me. My lecturers are giving me respect. My friends are asking whether i am undergoing some skin care routine(i don't apply anything to my face) or what. Still lot more things has happened, but can't explain it....
