Dzisiaj w Wielkopolsce przez cały dzień mgły(miejscami bardzo gęste) a ludzie w samochodach z automatycznymi światłami nie pomyślą żeby kurwa włączyć światła mijania tylko a chuj mam automat to za mnie pomyśli.

Hello all,
Recently I got myself a new long haired tortie kitten after not having a cat since I was a kid and I had some questions regarding her. I got her on 1/1/25 and she was 9 weeks old at the time, so she's coming up on being 3 months old at this point. As a little backstory for her, she was found by a kitten rescue outside at the beginning of a big snowstorm that we had right after thanksgiving at around 6 weeks old, the rescue foster had her for a few weeks and got her vet care, first round of shots, deworming, the whole works. Now understandably since she is presumed to have been feral at the time of rescue, she wasn't socialized at all in the early development weeks of her life and so she's been extremely slow to warm up, but the foster worked with her for the 3 weeks that they had her while getting her the necessary vet checkups, but she's still extremely standoffish. She's definitely improved in the 3 weeks that I've had her, but anytime I get up from my chair she hisses and if I get close to her she runs and hides behind a chair or somewhere that she feels safe.
Now I understand fully that she's going to take time to fully socialize, and she's definitely made strides, she's very playful with her toys and when it comes feeding time she will hiss at me as I'm walking up with her food but she walks straight towards me and she'll rub against my hands/arms and lets me pet her while she's eating without any aggression, and in fact this is more or less the only time she'll actually let me pet her. Occasionally she'll come up and sniff my hand if I put it down near her but more often than not if I'm not feeding her or giving her some treats, she won't come up to me. She's obviously gotten used to me though to some extent because she's taken to sleeping under my computer desk on top of my slippers, but she absolutely refuses to let me pick her up. I've held her a few times and the times that she's stayed in my lap she's gotten comfortable and relaxed and even started purring, but after those first few times now every time I attempt to pick her up she tries to run away and if I do manage to grab her, she's immediately trying to get out of my arms.
I'm worried that if I try to push it too hard and force her to stay in my lap and let me love on her she'll just fight it even more and end up resenting me or it having the opposite effect or something, but I'm also concerned that if I DON'T try to push it on her, she'll never come to realize that it's actually a good thing. I'm also wondering if the hissing will ever subside. Other than the first few nights that I've had her, she's not meowed a single time, and the hissing is pretty much the only sound she makes.
Now I do want to mention, while she does hiss constantly at me when I even get up and walk around, even when I've gotten close to her she's never once shown signs of aggression like attempting to bite/scratch me, so I believe that it's more that she's still scared and not that she's aggressive.
She's also not been spayed yet, the foster gave me a voucher for a nearby vet to have her spayed when she's a little older, and I'm planning on getting her spaying done at the end of February, which would be right around her 4 month mark.
My question for you all is this: What would be your recommendations for helping her overcome that nervousness of hers and allow her to calm down and realize that I'm not out to get her or something, would the spaying help with it when I get it done? And how would you recommend that I approach getting her more comfortable being pet outside of feeding time and being held at all? I know that you can't exactly force that kind of thing on an animal, especially a cat, but any suggestions and advise would be greatly welcome!

This is my second pregnancy, the first one ended in a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. I’ve booked a private scan last week, and I should have been 7w 5d pregnant. When I did the scan, she said she could see 3 yolk sacs, but only one baby, and he was measuring 6w2d (no heartbeat), and I should come back in 2 weeks.
I decided to go to the hospital 4 days after the first scan, and talk to a doctor. I had another ultrasound today, and she confirmed 3 yolk sacs all stuck together. The doctor said she had never seen anything like that before, and one of them could be a cyst or something. The sacs were measuring 7w2d, but she couldn't see any baby inside any of the sacs.
I have so many questions. How is it possible that a baby could have disappeared in 4 days? Is this another miscarriage? What are the chances of having three blighted ovum in the same pregnancy after a miscarriage?
The doctor said she couldn't confirm anything until I have another scan in two weeks.

Hey everyone! Looking to see if anyone else has struggled with this and what has helped with it. I go back to MayoClinic in a few weeks so just looking for something to help until I get seen.
On Monday I had a really sharp pain in my upper spine that felt like I was being stabbed and then it started burning. I was laid up on the couch that entire day because my spine hurts so bad along with my face pain that I typically have. Now we're on Wednesday and I still cannot tilt my head forward and when I do I get the shooting pain down my spine starting at the base of my skull. I've been sitting with a heating pad all day at work the last 2 days and I'm just miserable. My whole spine hurts along with my whole body just aches on the right side. I have been writing everything down so that I can tell my mayo clinic when I go back next month. Has anyone ever had the shooting pain down the spine and had something that worked to manage it while waiting to be seen.

We live in Tennessee. My wife bought a cemetery plot next to her mom after she passed away last year. We were told by the cemetery that her stepfather (the man her mom was married to at the time of her death - the third husband) had made no action to purchase the plot, and, well… let's just say there were some hard feelings between all involved for years prior. My wife did not want him buried next to her mom for reasons all her own.
She signed a contract on March 23, 2024, and made a cash downpayment of $512. The contract outlined a payment plan for 12 monthly installments of $181.36. She is now two payments away from it being paid in full, having already paid $2,337.60 with $362.72 remaining. Today, she received a phone call from the cemetery management company stating they had been sued by her stepfather because he had written a post-dated check for the plot on March 1, 2024, and they verbally promised a 30-day grace period to come up with the money before the check was cashed. None of this was made known to us at the time of the purchase - quite the opposite. After the timeframe for him to purchase expired, the check was sent back to him by mail.
He sued the cemetery management company in May. Lawyers representing both parties (stepfather v. cemetery management company) mediated out of court without involving or notifying my wife at all and determined that he was the rightful owner. My wife had signed the contract on March 23. So today, months later, she's finding out that there was a dispute on a plot she has been paying for and has a contract on, well after the fact.
A verbal promise on a post-dated check stood up against a signed contract with significant payments made in a legal dispute? None of this seems right or lawful. The cemetery's response today is that they are canceling the monthly autopay and want to issue her a refund for the amount paid so far.
- What are her options here?
- Should we hire a lawyer?
- If so, what area should they specialize is?

I went to face auntie ethel in her lair, my party had full health, nearly all spells, and i had potions of speed prepared for karlach especially. I had so many health potions I had myself(bard/warlock), karlach, shadowheart, and gale. I believed myself prepared
I was not..
What i expected to end up as a tough but possible fight ended with all the auntie ethel clones all spamming hold effing person and wiping out my level 4 party effortlessly.
I have my run saved as dishonered, only as a reference point for my next honor run (gonna get those golden dice)
My question is should i try an ancients paladin for my next run, would it be effective, or would it just be spiteful?

I’ve had 2 NDE’s in 2 days - almost being bitten by a snake yesterday and very narrowly avoiding a terrible car accident today.
I do believe in guardian angels and previously (2023) I had 2 NDE’s within a month of each other, and knew my angel guided me through it. At that time the angel sent me a very clear message of who they were and that I was being guided safely.
I’m frightened that this is happening again and not sure who to tell or where to put this, as many of my close circle are not spiritual.

This question was going aroumd since the anime ended a long time ago. This question was "when are we gonna have season 2 of the anime" I mean there is no hope of having it. I mean a lot of people have good theories on how will this ends up I guess that's true but in the recent new years it gonna up to 75 supporters to sign the petition and it was kinda cool people supporting a anime that was taken off air for long time but we are closing to the end of January and sigings decrease by over the days.
