These species are aquatic or semiaquatic and grow in dense masses or cushions in swamps, ponds and lake margins, moist heaths and wet hill sides.

Hi all!
I am new to the forum, but have been a no-burper my entire life. I genuinely think I've only burped maybe 4 or 5 times in my 27 years of life, and all of them have occurred right before throwing up. Like many of those in here, I am incredibly emetophobic, and I also struggle with OCD (mostly surrounding bodily sensations/eating). I have never had any kind of medical procedure done and have never been under anesthesia.
I stumbled across this forum whilst googling my symptoms, as they have gotten increasingly worse in the last month or so -- extreme shortness of breath after eating, chest pain, incessant throat gurgling that I can't control, nausea, and so on. I have always had these things, but like I said, they have definitely gotten worse in the past month. I'm not sure why this is, as I'm not doing anything differently. I am a healthy woman, I exercise 6 days a week and I do not eat gluten or dairy, and I consume minimal refined sugar. I don't drink anything carbonated (makes me nauseous) and I haven't had alcohol since NYE. I'm so uncomfortable in my own body, feel like I can't get a full breath for hours after meals, and am beyond frustrated.
Reading the posts from this group has given me a renewed sense of hope, but I have some questions that I am hoping to get answered prior to me booking an appt. with Dr. Bastian's office (chose him because my in-laws live in Downer's Grove and I can stay with them post-op). I will list them below, and any encouragement/anecdotes are more than welcome :)
1). Has anyone experienced botox migration post-op? I work with a woman who got botox in her forehead and it migrated, leaving one half of her body paralyzed for multiple weeks. I am terrified of this happening.
2). I am also terrified of losing my ability to speak and sing. Has this ever happened to anyone? I quite like the sound of my voice and part of my job requires singing/digital voice recording, so I don't want to lose either of those abilities or have it change the way my voice sounds.
3). Has anyone who has had the surgery regretted it? Most of the posts I've read have been incredibly positive, stating that they no longer experience symptoms like bloating or shortness of breath and their emetophobia is no longer debilitating. I just want to be 100% sure that this will be worth it, as I fear I would hate myself if I got an elective surgery that ended up either not working or decreasing my quality of life.
In short, I am really, really scared. I am someone who has always been incredibly hyper-aware of every bodily sensation I experience, and I often get panic attacks due to this. I am growing increasingly uncomfortable due to my rcpd, but I am just so scared to get the surgery. Please throw some honest experiences and encouragement my way if you could. Thank you <3

In November, I started dating this girl, let's just call her Chair. Chair has kept in contact with me pretty much 24/7 non-stop, and she was a loving person, constantly saying that she loves me and what not. In the two week mark, I noticed that she has been ignoring my text messages for hours on end, which didn't concern me too much, she has her own life, it's just unusual. Whenever I was around her, she was constantly on her phone, constantly checking her Instagram inbox, and being more secretive with her phone when ever I'm next to her, looking at her phone. The ghosting has gotten to the point where she ignored me for days, then she asked if it would be okay if she were to flirt with another guy. I told her that I would need to meet him to make my mind up. She said that the guy hated me, so I told her that I would still have to meet him and make my mind up, or else I wouldn't be comfortable with it. She then said "Okay", and proceeded to ignore me for a few more days. About 4 days go by and I check her Instagram story. She put a close friend story which was a screenshot between her and the guy, flirting with eachother, with the "Love" theme. Considering Me and her didn't have the Love theme ourselves, I questioned her calmly about it and she crashed out on me, Cursed me out, and was upto racist telling me to go home because I'm "Illegal" even though I was born in Florida, with Puerto Rican parents. She then said that I was possessive and that I don't get to dictate who she talks to (Even though I was just asking for her to stop flirting with the guy), that I don't trust her, and then broke up with me, and blocked me on everything, which I blocked her back, and restricted her on Instagram, where she then unblocked me, and tried to play it off. In these past 3 weeks I was debating with myself whether I was the problem in our relationship, I got really depressed, and now I'm on antidepressants. Was I the asshole?

2025.01.22 16:58 Due_Pen_3000 VW Polo Check Engine Light Issue for the 3rd time. VW service centre says faulty fuel pump is the reason?

I bought a used VW Polo (2014 1.2 highline petrol) back in June 2022.
Some time in 2023, I had my first encounter with the dreadful check engine light after returning from an outstation trip with the car. I checked with my regular mechanic and he said that if the car is running fine, don't bring it in for any repair yet. Following his advice, I drove the car for a month. One fine day, it started limping randomly. I somehow managed to drive it back home to the parking. The mechanic came home, connected the computer to the car, checked the error code (something to do with throttle body), erased the error code and took it to his garage to check it. According to him, the car drove just fine after removing the error code and he couldn't find any issue after 2 days of diagnosis so he returned the car without any repairs required.
I drove the car for another year after that. Come august 2024, I got the same check engine light again. This time, I took the car to the VW official service center because it was due for the yearly service anyway. The VW service center could not find any faults and returned the car saying I should use high octane fuel to avoid the issue. I took the car outstation a few times and drove it in the city regularly after that and faced no issues for the next 6 months.
Fast forward to present, I've got the same issue again. Once again, the issue has come after returning from an outstation trip. I gave the car to the VW service center again. They assigned their "master" technician on it and after 3 days of diagnosis, they have come to a conclusion that the fuel pump needs to be changed; however they have given a disclaimer that there is 1% chance that the issue may not get resolved because they have to follow a sequential approach to diagnosis. Right now, all things indicate that the fuel pump is faulty. But after replacing it, there could be other error codes that can pop up.
Replacing the fuel pump will cost 20k. But when I searched for most common reasons for VW check engine light online, I couldn't find faulty fuel pump anywhere. Even when I explicitly searched for faulty fuel pump explicitly, it was listed as a highly unlikely cause.
Just wanted to get opinion for other VW owners. Have you faced the check engine light issue? Was it fixed by replacing the fuel pump for you?

Currently have three black angus heifers. I’m trying to find some sort of semi portable (wheels, skids, aka something with a bottom) hay feeder that I can move around without breaking the bank.
They’re currently in a 1/2 acre paddock that I’m throwing loose hay out for them but that’s creating a little too much waste for me. I’d like to continue the low waste theme when they get into the 2x ~2 acre pastures this spring.
The pastures will not provide enough food for them year round without heavy investment into irrigation.
